Today’s Menu: Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I prepared a Diced Ham, Hash Browns, and Off the Block Cheddar Cheese Omelet. I used Kroger Diced Ham, Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, Sargento Off the Block Cheddar Cheese, Ortega Smokey Chipotle taco Sauce, and 2 Eggs to make this very delicious Omelet! I topped the Omelet with some more of the Cheddar and the Taco Sauce. Also had that morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Great start to rainy day!

Rain, windy, and 63 degrees out today. They say we could end up with an inch or more of rain. And they way it’s been coming down we’ll get that if not more. So nothing going on outside in this weather. I did give the outdoor grill a good cleaning. Scrubbed the grates and cleaned down into the base of grill. Then just kicked back and watched College Football for the afternoon. For Dinner tonight its a Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Fries.

I used the always delicious Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I cut the Sausage Links into Bun length pieces. I absolutely love the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage and I had been wanting some for a while. It’s got such a fantastic flavor and always cooks up just right. To prepare them I used a large skillet, added about a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and preheated it on medium heat. Put the Sausage in the skillet when it was heated up and covered with a lid. I turned the Sausage every few minutes to get an even char on them, cooked about 11 minutes total. As always they came out just bursting with flavor and flat-out delicious! I served it on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Bun and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. I love these Smoked Sausages.

I also prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert,Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin. I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Partly cloudy and 74 degrees out today, a beautiful Fall Day. After Breakfast I went to Kroger for a couple of items and stopped by McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Back home did a load of laundry and cleaned the house. Later I had to repair a piece of siding on the back of the house. Had everything done and settled in for an afternoon of NFL Football. For Dinner tonight I had Grilled Brats and Baked Fries for Dinner.

Having the Johnsonville Fresh Turkey Premium Original Bratwurst. They are so delicious and fresh! They cook up on the grill or skillet perfect every time!

I went out and started the grill. Back inside I got the Bratwursts out of the fridge and sprayed them with Pam Non Stick Spray. With the grill ready I added the Brats and shut the lid of the grill. Grilled them for about 18 minutes, turning the links often.

To go with my Brats I prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries for us. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs and topped them with Sargento Shredded Reduced Calorie Sharp Cheddar Cheese and toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Quite a change in the weather. We had record breaking heat for the last 5 days or so and this morning it was 45 degrees out! Mostly sunny and 70 degrees for the day! Got some yard work done and raked some leaves. At 4:00 this afternoon we went over to my cousins and watched the Fairfield Homecoming Parade. My cousin’s girl is a freshman this year and she marched in the parade! Back home later I Grilled Brats, Baked Fries for Dinner.

Today’s Menu: Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin, Scrambled 2 Eggs, fried 2 Johnsonville Fresh Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Partly cloudy, 95 degrees and humid out there today. After Breakfast I went and picked up Breakfast for Mom at McDonald’s. Later took Mom’s car over and had it washed and I vacuumed the insides. Then back home cleaned the inside of the windows and dash. Looks pretty good! Too hot and humid to be outside too long. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts for Dinner tonight.

I had purchased a couple of packages of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst while at Jungle Jim’s International Market yesterday. I kept one package out and froze the other. I also bought a package of Blue Grass Brats for Mom.

To prepare them I used a medium size skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray and added the Metts. I then added water to the pan, just enough water to cover about a 1/4 of Metts. Turned the heat on medium and covered the pan. I turned the Metts frequently to get a nice even cook on them. When the water had boiled down I cooked them an extra 3 minutes to brown them. They turned out fantastic, nice and meaty! Plus being the Bluegrass Lean type , just 1/2 the calories of other Metts. I served them on Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. I also had made some Italian Pasta Salad the other day, so I had a small bowl of that. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Sprite Zero to drink.

Just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea to start the day. After Breakfast started a couple of loads of laundry. Did some light house cleaning. Then outside for some yard work. I had everything gone and settled in the easy chair and spent the day watching NFL Football! Anyway for Dinner tonight its a Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Fries.

Today’s Menu: Grilled Turkey Bratwursts and Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I had a Jimmy Dean Simple Scramble Cup – Crumbled Turkey Sausage, Egg Whites, Cheddar Cheese. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Partly cloudy and 81 degrees out today. After Breakfast I went to Walmart Garden Center looking for a few things. We have a real problem with flies this year. It’s worse this year than we have ever seen. They are so bad that it makes it tough to even use the grill. I bought a couple of the Citrusnella Candles to see that could help.  Sunny, 89 degrees, and the humidity has returned! For Dinner tonight I prepared Grilled Brats, Baked Fries and Beans.

Having the new Brats I came across at Meijer a couple of months ago, Johnsonville Fresh Turkey Premium Original Bratwurst. They are so delicious fresh! They are natural meat color instead of the usual white colored Brats.

I went out and started the grill. Back inside I got the Bratwursts out of the fridge and sprayed them with Pam Non Stick Spray. With the grill ready I added the Brats and shut the lid of the grill. Grilled them for about 18 minutes, turning links often.

The Brats came out incredible again! These are excellent Brats. Grilled up great, great tasting, and stayed firm after cooking. All good traits of Bratwursts. I’ve got a couple of packages in the freezer! Served them on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hot Dog Bun and topped them with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard.

To go with my Brats I prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries for us. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done!

Hot, humid, and rain on and off all day. After I ate I went and picked up Breakfast for Mom at McDonald’s. Later on I took Mom with me out to our home in Ross, Ohio. Nice going out there from time to time, we really miss living out there. Lot of farm land but not too far out from different parts of Hamilton, Fairfield, and Colerain. They actually some how got their corn crop out and it should be producing before too long. Amazing they were able to plant with all the rain we have had all year. Stopped at a couple of Farmer’s Markets while out there and Mom picked up some Sweet Corn and Tomatoes. Sure was nice going back home! So back home for Dinner tonight I prepared Grilled Brats and Baked Fries.

Today’s Menu: Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin and topped it with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. Also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Outside its mostly sunny and 90 degrees, 2 days in a row of no rain! Took my car and then took Mom’s car up to the car wash. Then went to Walmart and bought Mom some new car floor mats. Got the cart out of the shed and did some yard work and a spin around the neighborhood. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts for Dinner tonight.

I had purchased a couple of packages of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst while at Jungle Jim’s International Market last week. Had them in the freezer so I took a couple of them out of the package to thaw overnight in the fridge.

To prepare them I used a medium size skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray and added the Metts. I then added water to the pan, just enough water to cover about a 1/4 of Metts. Today’s Menu: Grilled Mettwursts w/ Baked Fries

To start this morning off I prepared a Poached Egg and served it on a toasted Thomas Light 100% Multi Grain English Muffin. I also heated up a couple of Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Mostly cloudy and 64 degrees out today. The wind is blowing around 20 miles per hour and there’s a bit of nip in air! Got the cart out of the shed and did some yard work and I planted 4 Tomato Plants that I had bought Mom yesterday. We have a nice little mini garden going. Tomato Plants, a Rosemary plant, a couple of Parsley plants, 2 Bell Pepper plants, a Thai Pepper Plant, a Jalapeno Plant, and 4 Strawberry plants. For Dinner tonight I fired the Grill back up. Tonight its Grilled Lean Mettwursts w/ Baked Fries.

I had a package of the Blue Grass Lean Mettwursts that I bought from Jungle Jim’s in the freezer. Sat the package in the fridge over night to thaw. There’s 6 Sausages that come in the package. I greased the grill grates and fired the grill up! I prepared all 6 of the of the Metts, we’ll have the leftovers for a couple of Lunches. We served the Sausages on Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns and topped them with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. Nothing like Grilling! These are 70 less calories than the normal Mett, bought 4 packages of those and have them in the freezer.

I also prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Coke Zero to drink.
