For Breakfast I Scrambled a couple of Eggs, fried a couple of slices al fresco Chicken Bacon, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Mostly sunny and 55 degrees out, and of course its windy! Did a couple of loads of laundry after Lunch. Then cleaned the house. For Dinner tonight its Turkey Brat Dogs and Beans.

To prepare it; I first started by preparing the Turkey Bratwursts. I used Johnsonville Turkey Bratwursts. I bought these from Meijer, which carries the the full line of Johnsonville Products, I had them in the freezer and laid a package of them in the fridge to thaw overnight. I prepared them in a 3-quart saucepan. Sprayed the skillet with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray and added a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil. Cooked them for about 21 minutes until cooked through. They browned up perfect, one good tasting Brat! I served it on a Healthy Life Wheat Hot Dog Bun, topping it with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard.

For a side I prepared a can of Bush’s Country Style Baked Beans. Just open the can and empty the Beans Into Saucepan. Heat To Simmer until heated through. Love these Bush’s Beans! Brats and Beans Dinner tonight! For Dessert later some Honey Crisp Apple slices.

Today’s Menu: Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts

For Breakfast this morning I had a Poached Egg served on a Thomas Light English Muffin. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Rain and 53 degrees out today. Gave Mom a hand with a couple of loads of laundry. Later Cleaned the house, dusted and ran the sweeper. Then wiped the kitchen counters and stove down with Clorox Fresh Scent Disinfecting Wipes. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts for Dinner tonight.

I’ve had a few packages of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst in the freezer. So I got a package out of the freezer and put in the fridge overnight to thaw. Jungle Jim’s International Market is the only place I can find these and they don’t have them in stock too often.

To prepare them I used a large size skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray and added the Metts. I then added water to the pan, just enough water to cover about a 1/4 of Metts. Turned the heat on medium and covered the pan. I turned the Metts frequently to get a nice even cook on them. When the water had boiled down I cooked them an extra 3 minutes to brown them. They turned out fantastic, nice and meaty! Plus being the Bluegrass Lean type , just 1/2 the calories of other Metts. I served them on Healthy Life Wheat Hot Dog Buns and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts

For Breakfast this morning a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 43 degrees and partly sunny out today, at least the rains have stopped for the day. So after my Tea I headed out to Meijer for a few items. Stopped by the ATM, got gas, and stopped at McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Thought I would go get everything today because the rain is moving back in for the rest of the week. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts for Dinner tonight.

I had a packages of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst in the freezer. So I got a couple of them out and set them in the fridge overnight to thaw. Jungle Jim’s International Market is the only place I can find these and they don’t have them in stock too often.

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin that I topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. Today’s Menu: Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Fries

To start this Monday Morning off I toasted a Thomas English Muffin, Scrambled 1 Egg, fried up 2 Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, and had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 56 degrees and sunny out there today. Wow this some end of the year weather we are having. They are saying it will be in the low 60’s for Christmas day and the day after! I have a feeling we’ll pay dearly for this nice weather later on! Anyway I went to Menard’s after Breakfast. Stopped by Kroger to pick up a couple of items for Mom and then by McDonald’s to pick up Breakfast for her. Just did a few things around the house and later got the leaf blower out and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. For Dinner tonight its a Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Fries.

I used the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I cut the Sausage Links into Bun length pieces. I absolutely love the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage and I had been wanting some for a while. It’s got such a fantastic flavor and always cooks up just right. To prepare them I used a large skillet, added about a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and preheated it on medium heat. Put the Sausage in the skillet when it was heated up and covered with a lid. I turned the Sausage every few minutes to get an even char on them, cooked about 11 minutes total. As always they came out just bursting with flavor and flat-out delicious! I served it on a Healthy Life Whole Grain Hot Dog Bun and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. I love these Smoked Sausages.

I also prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I prepared a Diced Ham, Hash Browns, and Off the Block Cheddar Cheese Omelet. I used Kroger Diced Ham, Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, Sargento Off the Block Cheddar Cheese, Ortega Smokey Chipotle taco Sauce, and 2 Eggs to make this very delicious Omelet! I topped the Omelet with some more of the Cheddar and the Taco Sauce. Also had that morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Great start to rainy day!

Rain, windy, and 63 degrees out today. They say we could end up with an inch or more of rain. And they way it’s been coming down we’ll get that if not more. So nothing going on outside in this weather. I did give the outdoor grill a good cleaning. Scrubbed the grates and cleaned down into the base of grill. Then just kicked back and watched College Football for the afternoon. For Dinner tonight its a Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Fries.

I used the always delicious Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I cut the Sausage Links into Bun length pieces. To go with my Brats I prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries for us. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.
