Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans

 

Started the morning off with just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. I was wanting to go to Meijer for groceries early this morning but it was pouring the rain. It let up later in the morning and I headed out. Stopped by Kroger for a few things for Mom. After Lunch I got up on a few projects around the house. We had to have the air conditioner inspected and cleaned. We also had to have a new spigot put in along with some new water lines to it put in. Everything coming along good at the old homestead! For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans.

 

I’m baking some Pilgrim Chicken Strips. Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal! Preheated the oven to 350° F. Arranged frozen chicken breast strips in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, to an internal temperature of 165° F as measured by use of a food thermometer placed in the thickest part of the Chicken Strip . And Chicken is served! It’s some of the best frozen Chicken you can find! Excellent seasoned breading and very meaty, and easy to prepare. Served it with a side of Hidden Valley Ranch Buffalo Dressing.

 


To go with the Chicken I reheated the leftover Bob Evan’s Mashed Potatoes. Just microwave for 2 minutes and serve, just as good as homemade, if not better. Next I made a packet of the Pioneer Peppered White Gravy to top the Mashed Potatoes.

 

 

 

 

Then I reheated up the Del Monte Cut Green Beans. Just empty the leftovers into a sauce pan and heat until heated through. I also baked a loaf of Pillsbury French Bread, One delicious meal tonight. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans

 

 

 

Started the morning off by Scrambling 2 Eggs, toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin (lightly buttered), and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. A little under the weather still, fighting a Sinus Infection. So I took it easy today and didn’t do a whole lot. I don’t think its anything that some sunny and warm days won’t be able to cure! For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans.

 

 

 

One of those days where I didn’t feel like putting a whole lot of effort into preparing my dinner. So there’s nothing easier than baking some Pilgrim Chicken Strips. Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal! I had not had these in a while. I switched over to Perdue Chicken Strips so I wanted to change it over to Pilgrim’s. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Arrange frozen chicken breast strips in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, to an internal temperature of 165° F as measured by use of a food thermometer placed in the thickest part of the Chicken Strip . And Chicken is served! It’s some of the best frozen Chicken you can find! Excellent seasoned breading and very meaty, and easy to prepare. Served it with a side of Hidden Valley Ranch Buffalo Dressing.

 

 


To go with the Chicken I prepared some Bob Evan’s Mashed Potatoes. Just microwave for 6 minutes and serve, just as good as homemade, if not better.

 

 

 

 

 


Then I also heated up a large can of Del Monte Cut Green Beans. Just empty the can into a sauce pan and heat until heated through. I also baked a loaf of Pillsbury French Bread, One delicious meal tonight. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Coke Zero to drink.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans

 

 

For Breakfast; Poached an Egg, fried up a couple of Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties, toasted a Aunt Millie’s Whole Grain English Muffin (lightly buttered), and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. A beautiful morning turned into a beautiful day, 56 degrees and sunny! After Breakfast I headed off to Meijer to do some grocery shopping. On the way home I stopped by the Golden Arches of McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom and Dad. Mom went on to Church and I stayed with Dad. After Lunch I got the leaf blower out and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. Afterward kicked back and watched the NCAA Basketball Tournament Games. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Cut Green Beans, and Baked Texas Toast.

 


I love the Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal! To start I preheat the oven to 350° F. Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Golden Hominy

 

 


Scrambled an Egg, fried up some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread (lightly buttered), and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Outside it’s rain on and off and a high of 44 degrees. Gave Mom a hand in doing a couple of loads of laundry. Later Cleaned the house, vacuum and dusted. Had everything done and watched some College Basketball. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes, Golden Hominy, and Baked Texas Toast.

For another side I opened up a can of one of my favorite side dishes, Kroger Brand Golden Hominy. For those that has never had or heard of Hominy; Hominy is a food made from kernels of corn which are soaked in an alkali solution of either lime or lye. The corrosive nature of the solution removes the hull and germ of the corn and causes the grain itself to puff up to about twice its normal size. There is White and Golden Hominy, my favorite is the Golden Hominy. If you’ve never tried it do, makes a delicious side dish! I also baked a slice of New York Bakery Lite Texas Toast, One delicious meal tonight. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Diced New Potatoes and Golden Hominy

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I lightly fried a few slices of Boar’s Head Sweet Sliced Ham, Scrambled some Egg Beater’s Egg Whites, used 1 slice of Sargento Reduced Fat Swiss Cheese and toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin. Put it altogether and I had a Breakfast Sandwich! Heated up a bit more outside, 85 degrees and a bit more humid. After Breakfast I went to the local Kroger and picked up a few items I needed and stopped and had the car washed and vacuumed. After Lunch I pulled everything off the Kitchen counter tops and cleaned the counters. Then changed the water filter on the fridge. Watched some Football the rest of the afternoon. For Dinner tonight I prepared Baked Pilgrim Chicken Breast Strips w/ Diced New Potatoes and Golden Hominy.

For one side it was Del Monte Diced New Potatoes. I’ve had these many times and as always, delicious! To prepare these; empty the Potatoes into a small sauce pan and heat on medium heat until heated through.

 

 

 

 

 

For another side I opened up a can of one of my favorite side dishes, Kroger Brand Golden Hominy. For those that has never had or heard of Hominy; Hominy is a food made from kernels of corn which are soaked in an alkali solution of either lime or lye. The corrosive nature of the solution removes the hull and germ of the corn and causes the grain itself to puff up to about twice its normal size. There is White and Golden Hominy, my favorite is the Golden Hominy. If you’ve never tried it do, makes a delicious side dish! I also baked a loaf of the La Brea Bakery Multi-Grain Bread. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Diet Dr.Pepper to drink.

Fryer: Heat oil to 350° F. Fry frozen chicken breast fritters for 6 minutes or an internal temperature of 165° F as measured by use of a food thermometer placed in the thickest part of the chicken breast fritter.

Due to variations in equipment, heating times and/or temperature may require adjustment. DO NOT MICROWAVE.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans

 

 

Started my morning off by Scrambling an Egg, fried up a couple of Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread (lightly buttered), and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I started a load of laundry for Mom. Then gave the house a quick cleaning. I had to wait for the Cincinnati Bell Repairman to show up today. They are replacing our cable boxes with updated boxes. Mostly cloudy outside with rain moving in, 80 degrees and humid today. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes, Cut Green Beans, Baked French Bread.

 

I love the Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal! I had not had these in a about a month or so. I switched over to Perdue Chicken Strips for awhile so I wanted to change it back to Pilgrim’s. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Arrange frozen chicken breast strips in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, to an internal temperature of 165° F as measured by use of a food thermometer placed in the thickest part of the Chicken Strip . And Chicken is served! It’s some of the best frozen Chicken you can find! Excellent seasoned breading and very meaty, and easy to prepare. Served it with a side of Hidden Valley Ranch Buffalo Dressing.

 

To go with the Chicken I prepared some Bob Evan’s Mashed Potatoes. Just microwave for 6 minutes and serve, just as good as homemade, if not better. Next I made a packet of the Pioneer Peppered White Gravy to top the Mashed Potatoes.

 

 

 

 

 

Then I heated up a large can of Del Monte Cut Green Beans. Just empty the can into a sauce pan and heat until heated through. I also baked a loaf of Pillsbury French Bread, One delicious meal tonight. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Back home took my  Hoveround outside and gave it a good cleaning. Outside passing showers and not quite as hot but even more humid! Stayed inside after it started getting bad, sinus and allergies going nuts in this weather. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans.

 

 

One of those days where I didn’t feel like putting a whole lot of effort into preparing my dinner. So there’s nothing easier than baking some Pilgrim Chicken Strips. Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal! I had not had these in a while. I had a bowl of Kashi Grain Puffs for Breakfast this morning. Cleaned up around the kitchen and headed up to the hospital to see Dad. He’s doing a lot better and should be released soon. Coming home from the hospital I stopped at the Bank, got gas, and got the car a much need wash! It’s like an early Spring Day out there today, mostly sunny and near 60 degrees! For dinner tonight I prepared Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Italian Green Beans.

As I said it’s some of the best frozen Chicken you can find! Excellent seasoned breading and very meaty, and easy to prepare. Served it with a side of JB’s Fat Boy Sticky Stuff BBQ Sauce.

 

 

Fried Walleye w Cut Roma Beans and Baked Roasted Fingerling Pota 003

For one side I made some of my favorite Mashed Potatoes, Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes. Just microwave for 6 minutes and serve. Just as good as homemade, if not better. Then I also prepared a can of Allens Cut Italian Green Beans. To prepare them just empty the can into a small sauce pan and simmer until heated. Just season with a bit of Sea Salt and it’s ready! I could have these Beans every day and never get tired of having the

 

 

 

 

Italian Loaf Bread

Finally I baked a loaf of Pillsbury French Bread, family’s favorite baked bread. For dessert later a Skinny Cow Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream Bar
