Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Baked Fries

To start this day off I prepared a Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambles Cup – Crumbled Turkey Sausage, Egg Whites, and Shredded Cheddar Cheese. Love these, so easy to prepare and only 150 calories and 3 carbs per serving (1 cup). Well the heavy rain have finally stopped, at least for the day! 79 degrees and sunny out today! But rain returning by Saturday Morning. So at least we got 1 day without rain. Anyway after Breakfast I took Mom with me and we went to Meijer. Mom has switched from Kroger to Meijer, a good way to save money! I only go to Kroger for the Deli and Milk. Most everything else I go to Meijer or Walmart. Back home tried to catch up on some yard work while we had the sunny weather. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Baked Fries.

I love the Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal that still delicious! To prepare them; Preheat the oven to 350° F. Arrange frozen chicken breast strips in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, to an internal temperature of 165° F as measured by use of a food thermometer placed in the thickest part of the Chicken Strip . And Chicken is served! It’s some of the best frozen Chicken you can find! Excellent seasoned breading and very meaty, and easy to prepare. Served it with a side of Hidden Valley Ranch Buffalo Dressing.

To go with my Chicken I baked some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, excellent Fry! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Mango/Tea Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Canned Green Beans

For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs and toasted a couple of slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. I also had that morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea, my favorite. We are finally above freezing, a high of 40 degrees! Rain moving in overnight but still in the 40’s. I was going to go to Meijer after Breakfast but Mom was a little under the weather so I stayed home to keep an eye on her. So just did laundry and and cleaned the house later. For Dinner tonight I prepared Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Canned Green Beans.

I love the Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal! I had not had these in a about a month or so. I switched over to Perdue Chicken Strips for a while so I wanted to change it back to Pilgrim’s. Preheat the oven to 350° F.

For one side I heated up a package of Bob Evan’s Mashed Potatoes from last night. Just microwave for 3 minutes and serve, just as good as homemade, if not better. I could make a meal out of just Mashed Potatoes. I also made a package of Pioneer Peppered White Gravy to top the Mashed Potatoes with.

For a side I cooked a Jar of the Canned Green Beans we had Canned over the Summer. Then boiled them with a piece of Fatback Pork in the kettle. Love these Canned Green Beans, they so fresh! For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast in the morning I prepared a Chili and Cheese Egg White Omelet. I used Egg Beater’s Egg Whites for the Omelet. The 3 Bean Buffalo Chili that was leftover from the night’s Dinner. To top it I added Ortega Smokey Chipotle Taco Sauce and Sargento Off the Block Sharp Cheddar Cheese. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. And this is a great way to start a cold and snowy Saturday Morning. Snowing and 31 degrees out. They say we’ll end up with between 5-6 inches, we’ll wait and see. A friend of mine works at Kroger and said that people cleaned the store out! This are panics at the thought of SNOW! Anyway not a lot going on outside. Salted the driveway and cleared off some on the cars. Our neighbor cleared the driveway for us, he has a Snow Blower. Watched a lot of TV and played a couple of games of Yahtzee with Mom. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Baked Fries.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Baked Fries

Just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea for Breakfast this morning. Started off cloudy outside but by noon mostly sunny and 52 degrees. After Breakfast I went to Walmart for a few items and then stopped by McDonald’s to pick up Breakfast for Mom. Afterward Mom went to Church. I did a couple a load of laundry and then some clean up outside. Got the leaf blower out and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. Then watched some NFL Football for the rest of the afternoon. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Baked Fries.

I’ve been a fan of Chicken Strips and Fries for a long time! One of my first jobs was a delivery man for a company in Fairfield, Ohio. I delivered items in and around Butler, Hamilton, and Warren Counties here in Ohio. On 2 of my routes the last stops were around 6:00 in the evening and both were near a Dairy Queen. So on those days I would always stop and have the Chicken Strips and Fries. Been a fan ever since! So anyway I love these Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal that still delicious! To prepare them; Preheat the oven to 350° F. Arrange frozen chicken breast strips in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. I had a Jimmy Dean Simple Scramble – Turkey Sausage, Egg White, Cheddar Cheese. Really enjoy these they’re only 150 calories and 3 carbs per serving (1 cup). I just added a shake of Salt and a sprinkle of Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheese. A beautiful day out to be late November, 60 degrees and partly sunny. Rain moved in toward the evening. After Breakfast I went to the local Kroger for a few items and then stopped by McDonald’s to pick up Breakfast for Mom. Afterward Mom went to Church. I did a couple of loads of laundry and then some clean up outside. Got the leaf blower, rake, and my cart out and raked some leaves. Then watched some NFL Football for the rest of the afternoon. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Baked Fries.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Green Beans

For Breakfast to start off this chilly Monday morning I Poached an Egg and toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 31 degrees out there to start the day, had a good frost out there. Sunny and 54 degrees for the afternoon, not bad. Spent the afternoon still trying to figure out all the functions to Windows 10 and a new Computer. i really dread major changes, but not much choice in this one. Dinner tonight I prepared Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans.

For one side I heated up the leftover Bob Evan’s Mashed Potatoes from last night. Just microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and serve, just as good as homemade, if not better. I could make a meal out of just Mashed Potatoes. I also some leftover Pioneer Peppered White Gravy to top the Mashed Potatoes with.

Then I also heated up a large can of Del Monte Cut Green Beans. Just empty the can into a sauce pan and heat until heated through. Then for Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Can’t beat that picture! For the day another gorgeous Fall Day out there, sunny and 78 degrees. i got the cart out and did some yard work and then later took a ride around the neighborhood. Went down by the lake for a while. Then spent the afternoon watching NFL Football. For Dinner tonight I prepared Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans.
