Today’s Menu: Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

For Breakfast this morning I Poached an Egg and served it on a toasted Thomas Light English Muffin. Also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Above freezing today, 34 degrees and partly cloudy out. We still have snow covering the grass but the walks and roads are all clear. Not a lot going on today i was battling a sinus headache all day. For Dinner tonight I had a Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

As always I’m using the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Burgers. Just love these Buffalo Burgers; meaty, juicy and just flat out delicious! Preheated up a skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray, seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it about 3 1/2 minutes per side, and done. After I flipped the Burger I added a slice of Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese on top.

As my Burger was getting done, I had a loaf of Gold Miner California Sour Dough Bread in the freezer I laid a couple of slices of it in the fridge to thaw overnight. I heated a skillet up and added some Blue Bonnet Light Butter and heated the pan on medium. Put my Burger on the Sour Dough Bread and toasted it in the skillet I just heated. I love that Sour Dough Bread. But I don’t have it too often because of the higher Calories and Carbs than the Aunt Millie’s Bread I normally use. The Burger was delicious! Mom even had one and loved it!

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Peach Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Chicken Burger w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I just had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Cold morning out, 24 degrees! For the day had a high of 47 degrees and mostly sunny. After I had my Tea I went to Kroger for a couple of items for Mom. Raked some leaves and then used the leaf blower and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. Not a lot to do today so I settled back and watched some College Football. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Chicken Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I purchased a package of Ground Chicken from Meijer my last visit there. To make the Burger I’ll need; the Ground Chicken (1 lb. package), Ground Cumin, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Dried Oregano, McCormick’s Grinders of Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, and Meijer Italian Style Bread Crumbs. For toppings I’m using Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/Olive Oil, Heinz 57 Sauce, Hoffman’s Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Butter Leaf Lettuce and served on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun.

To prepare them, in a large bowl, combine Chicken, Ground Cumin, Paprika, Garlic Powder, Dried Oregano, Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, and Italian Style Bread Crumbs. The Seasonings amount are to taste and 2 tablespoons of the Italian Style Bread Crumbs. Make a little depression with your thumb in the center of each burger so they cook evenly. Divide the mixture into 4 patties.

In a Cast Iron Skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add burger patties and cook, flipping once, until golden and a thermometer inserted into the center registers 165°, 8 to 10 minutes. Top with cheddar and cook until just started melting, 2 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer patties to a plate. Serve on the Buns and top with Mayo, Heinz 57 Sauce, and Lettuce. The Ground Chicken Burger is juicy, moist, and flavorful! I’ll have to start having a lot more often!

To go with the Chicken Burger I prepared Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Heinz 57 Sauce. For Dessert later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Ground Chicken
Ground chicken is a healthy start for any meal since one serving (100 grams, or about 3 ounces) meets one’s protein needs for a nutritious meal – plus it’s lower in calories and fat than many meat sources. Lean ground chicken is high in protein and offers less saturated fat than ground beef.

Today’s Menu: Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs and toasted a couple of slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread that I topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. Also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Partly cloudy and 67 degrees out, rain moving in for tomorrow. Had to go to Home Depot after Breakfast and then stopped and picked up Breakfast for Mom at McDonald’s. Back home more raking, trying to keep pace with all the leaves that are falling. Full time job raking! For Dinner tonight its a Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.

I had picked up a couple of Orange Roughy Fillet at Jungle Jim’s International Market a while back and had it in the freezer. I sat the bag in the fridge overnight to thaw. To make it I’ll need; the Orange Roughy Fillet, McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, Flour, Egg Beater’s (1/2 cup), Hungarian Paprika, and Shake and Bake Panko Bread Crumbs. I’ll serve it on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hamburger Bun. I first Seasoned the Fillet with the McCormick Grinders of Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. Next I seasoned the Flour with the added Hungarian Paprika. Then rolled the Fillet in the Flour, next to the Egg Beater’s, and finally in the Panko Bread Crumbs.

I grabbed a skillet, sprayed it with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray, added 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil, and heated the skillet on medium heat. With the skillet heated I added my Fillet. I fried it for 3 minutes per side. It fried up perfect! Golden Brown on the outside and a moist center. I served it on the Aunt Millie’s Bun. Orange Roughy has such a good taste to it, it’s a very mild Fish. Makes the perfect Fish Sandwich!

As my Orange Roughy was cooking I turned the oven up to 425 degrees and baked my Fries. I used Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Pulled BBQ Pork Rib Sandwich w/ Baked Fries

I had to have my car over at the car shop at 8:00 this morning. Took it in for a oil change, tires rotated, and the radiator flushed and filled. All set for Winter! Just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea for Breakfast after I got back. Mostly sunny and 76 degrees out today. Did some yard work. Later had to go pick my car up from the shop. For Dinner tonight its a Pulled BBQ Pork Rib Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.

There will no Leftover Ribs ever thrown away in this house hold! Those were some delicious Ribs we had last night, thank you Meijer! So I pulled all the Rib Meat from the bones last night after Dinner.

To reheat them I used a small sauce pan. I sprayed it with Pam Cooking Spray and added the Rib Meat. I added some JB’s Fat Boy Haug Waush BBQ Sauce and heated the Ribs on medium low heat, stirring often. Oh man these heated up so good, it was tough not eating the Ribs before it was made into a Sandwich! I served it on a Aunt Millie’s Whole Grain Bun and topped it with a bit more of the BBQ Sauce. The Sandwich was so good, the Rib Meat along with the JB’s Fat Boy Haug Waush BBQ Sauce are perfect together!

To go with my Sandwich I baked some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn along with a Sprite Zero to drink.

Pork Back Ribs – Pork ribs are a cut of pork popular in North American and Asian cuisines. The ribcage of a domestic pig, meat and bones together, is cut into usable pieces, prepared by smoking, grilling, or baking – usually with a sauce, often barbecue – and then served.

JB’s Fat Boy Haug Waush BBQ Sauce
Be happier than a pig in sauce after adding Haugwaush to any meat. Serve direct as a condiment or coat on grilled meats the last few minutes of cooking. Sauce will caramelize on meat when heated.

Warning: Consumer should be aware that frequent use of this sauce may result in the temptation to ‘pig out’ at the dinner table.

For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs and topped them with Sargento Shredded Reduced Calorie Sharp Cheddar Cheese and toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Quite a change in the weather. We had record breaking heat for the last 5 days or so and this morning it was 45 degrees out! Mostly sunny and 70 degrees for the day! Got some yard work done and raked some leaves. At 4:00 this afternoon we went over to my cousins and watched the Fairfield Homecoming Parade. My cousin’s girl is a freshman this year and she marched in the parade! Back home later I Grilled Brats, Baked Fries for Dinner.

Having the Johnsonville Fresh Turkey Premium Original Bratwurst. They are so delicious and fresh! They cook up on the grill or skillet perfect everytime!

Grilled Buffalo Cheese Burger and Fries

Today’s Menu: Grilled Cheese Buffalo Burger and Fries

To start the day off I prepared a packet of the Pioneer Peppered White Gravy, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. It’s another record setting temperature day out there! 97 degrees and mostly sunny, even a bit more humid. Along with heat is a super high mold and pollen count. I’ve had one bad headache all day. So I spent most of the day resting. For Dinner tonight I fired up the grill! It’s a Grilled Buffalo Cheese Burger and Fries tonight. I grilled Mom a couple of Blue Grass Bratwursts. I had to wear one of those white surgical masks while outside because of my allergies.

For the Buffalo Burger I used my favorite, the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Buffalo Burgers as usual. Their meaty, juicy and just flat out delicious! I had the Burger in the freezer so I laid in the fridge overnight to thaw. Used a Paper Towel and rubbed it in some Extra Light Olive Oil. Then rubbed the Grill Grate down with it. Then fired up the Grill! Seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. With the Grill heated I started grilling. I grilled the Buffalo Burger and Brat and Mett for Mom. I grilled the Burger about 3 minutes and flipped it over. After 2 minutes I added a slice of Boar’s Head Yellow Vermont Cheddar and cooked it another 1 minute and done! Served the Burger on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hamburger Bun. The Burger was juicy and delicious, as all the Wild Idea Burgers are. Just love a good Burger, Buffalo Burger! Plus that added flavor by grilling it. Mom’s Grilled Brats turned out great also!

To go with my Burger I prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.

Today’s Menu: Pulled BBQ Pork Rib Sandwich w/ Baked Fries

To start this morning off I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin and topped it with Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. Also had that morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. I may have to give my Tea up! The cheapest I can find it now is at Walmart. They are at $2.88 a box while other places are at $2.99 – $3.22 a box! When I started drinking Tea it was $2.17 a box, such a shame! Partly cloudy and 85 degrees outside today. I went to make my Tea this morning and the Microwave stopped working. So after Breakfast we went to Best Buy and purchased a new one, cheaper to buy one than repair it. So that will be delivered next Tuesday! Not a lot going on today. For Dinner tonight its a Pulled BBQ Pork Rib Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.

No way I was going to let those Leftover Ribs go to waste! Those were some of the best Ribs we had ever had, thank you Meijer! So I pulled all the Rib Meat from the bones last night after Dinner.

Today’s Menu: Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Fries

Just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea to start the day. After Breakfast started a couple of loads of laundry. Did some light house cleaning. Then outside for some yard work. I had everything gone and settled in the easy chair and spent the day watching NFL Football! Anyway for Dinner tonight its a Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Fries.

I used the always delicious Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I cut the Sausage Links into Bun length pieces. I absolutely love the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage and I had been wanting some for a while. It’s got such a fantastic flavor and always cooks up just right. To prepare them I used a large skillet, added about a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and preheated it on medium heat. Put the Sausage in the skillet when it was heated up and covered with a lid. I turned the Sausage every few minutes to get an even char on them, cooked about 11 minutes total. As always they came out just bursting with flavor and flat-out delicious! I served it on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Bun and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. I love these Smoked Sausages.

I also prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Light.
