Today’s Menu: Omaha Steakhouse Chili
For Breakfast I toasted a Thomas English Muffin and topped it with some Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. One cold morning out there, 17 degrees with a wind chill at 12 degrees! For the day we had a high of 34 degrees and mostly sunny. After Breakfast I wiped the Kitchen down with some Lysol Disinfectant Wipes. Got the counters, cabinets, microwave, stove and fridge. Next it was Pantry and Freezers. Cleaned and straightened both. For Dinner tonight another new Omaha Steak product, Omaha Steakhouse Chili.
One of the other 1st time items I ordered from Omaha Steaks is their Omaha Steakhouse Chili. As the other Omaha items it comes frozen, packaged in plastic bags you can boil or heat in the microwave. It’s made using Premium Ground Beef, Chili Seasoning, Spices, Black Beans, and Red and Green Peppers.
I’ll be boiling ours tonight. Another Do Not Thaw item. To prepare it on the Stove Top: In a large Sauce pan bring enough water to a boil in a pot to submerge the Chili Bag. I placed the bag in the water. Reduced heat to medium and let simmer 30 minutes. Removed bag with tongs and cut open corner using scissors. Poured into bowls and served!
I served it topped with Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese and a side of Oyster Crackers. I also added a couple of shakes of Frank’s Hot Sauce. I’ve found some Delicious Chili here! Nice Seasonings with plenty of Ground Beef, BlackBeans, and Peppers! If your looking for a Delicious and super quick way to have Chili, look no further! Plus it’s a very easy clean up since all you used a sauce pan and boiled water in it. I’ll purchase more of this, good item for the freezer! For Dessert/Snack later a small bowl of Chex Mix with a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Description
It’s the first thing you notice as you start to ladle the simmering chili into your bowl: the deep, rich aroma of a perfectly cooked steak. “How is that possible? This is chili,” you tell yourself. But this isn’t just any chili – it’s chili created by America’s Original Butcher.
Loaded with ground beef that’s nicely seasoned with chili powder, garlic, salt, and pepper, our chefs then added hearty black beans along with red and green bell peppers to impart a layer of natural sweetness that harmonizes wonderfully with the beef.
One bite and you’ll agree – this is real good, feel-good-food at its finest.
Stove-Top: Bring enough water to a boil in a pot to submerge soup bag. Place bag of chili in water. Reduce heat to medium and let simmer 30 minutes. Remove bag with tongs and carefully cut open corner using scissors. Pour into serving bowl and serve.
Microwave (1100-watt): Place unopened bag in microwave. Microwave on defrost for 6-8 minutes. Carefully cut open corner of bag and pour into a microwave safe dish. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Stir well before serving or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Stir well before serving.
Breaded Pork Tenderloin w/ Sugar Snap Peas, Mashed Potatoes, and Peppered White Gravy

Today’s Menu: Breaded Pork Tenderloin w/ Sugar Snap Peas, Mashed Potatoes, and Peppered White Gravy
To start my morning off I prepared some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, heated up 2 Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links and had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 36 degrees, sunny and windy out today. My neighbor has food from a local Food Bank delivered to his house. He has to leave for Florida today to be with his sister who is fighting Cancer. So he called me and asked if I would take some of the food that was delivered to him yesterday, and use what I want and give it to a family that needs it. So after Lunch I took some to another neighbor and took some over to my Cousin’s house. So the Food went to where it was needed! Back home did a few light chores around the house. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Breaded Pork Tenderloin w/ Sugar Snap Peas, Mashed Potatoes, and Peppered White Gravy.
Just the words of “Breaded Pork Tenderloin” makes my mouth water! My order from Omaha Steaks was delivered earlier and 1 of the items I ordered was Breaded Pork Tenderloin. 1st time ordering it and it will not be the last! They come Frozen and 4 Breaded Pork Tenderloins per box.
To prepare it you can Microwave it or Bake it. I always prefer the baking option over microwave option. So to prepare it I preheat oven to 425°F. Then lined a sheet pan with foil and 1 T. of Extra Light Olive Oil per piece of pork on sheet tray. Placed 2 of the Pork pieces on sheet tray. Placed it on the center rack of oven. Cooked for 10 minutes, flipped it and cook for an additional 10 minutes, until the Pork was golden brown and reached 145°F. Drain on paper towel and ready serve.
As all Omaha Steak Products, these are so easy to prepare! And as all the Omaha Steak Products they were so delicious! Well seasoned and perfect Breading, not over Breaded but with enough to make a nice crust. They are big patties and are only 220 calories and 4 net carbs per serving! Another great item to have ready in the freezer from Omaha Steaks!
To go with Breaded Tenderloins I prepared a bag of Mann’s Stringless Sugar Snap Peas. To prepare them I used a medium size skillet. I added a tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil and heated it on medium heat. As the skillet was heating I emptied the bag of Snap Peas into the skillet. Stirred a few times and cooked them for 5 minutes. Ready to serve. Very good Snap Peas, nice and full!
Then I also prepared some Bob Evan’s Mashed Potatoes. Just microwave for 6 minutes and serve, just as good as homemade, if not better. I also made a packet of the Pioneer Peppered White Gravy to top the Mashed Potatoes and Breaded Pork Tenderloin with. What a Delicious Dinner! For Dessert later Jello Sugar Free Dark Cherry Jello.

Today’s Menu: Tri-Tip Steak and Mushrooms w/ Loaded Baked Potato Casserole and Shellie Beans
Just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea for Breakfast. Mostly sunny and 42 degrees out today. Had one of those long sleepless nights last night due to Phantom Pains! Every time I would start to doze off they would start. Plus they were the painful ones, very painful. It started last night around 11:00 and continued till about 9:00 this morning. So I spent the day catching up on sleep and resting, these really wiped me out! Feeling better as the day went on. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Tri-Tip Steak and Mushrooms w/ Loaded Baked Potato Casserole and Shellie Beans.
Mom had been wanting to try Omaha Steaks for some time and I finally broke down and purchased a few Steaks and Burgers for us. I used the last of the Burgers last night and these are the last 2 Steaks. I’ll purchase more sometime soon. And Yes, I’m having Beef! First time in a while, usually its Buffalo. So with everything I ordered we’ll be having Beef a little more than usual.
They come frozen, 6 – 4 oz. Steaks per box. So I got 2 of the Tri-Tips and sat them in the fridge overnight to thaw. They come Seasoned and fully cooked, nice size Tri-Tips. So all I have to is heat them up, and ready to serve! I grabbed a Cast Iron Skillet added a little of Extra Light Olive Oil and heated the Skillet on medium heat. With the Skillet heated I added the Steaks. Cooked the Steaks until they heated up, flipping them once. As the Steaks were cooking I heated up some Mushrooms, for a topping for the Steaks. I heated those up in a small Skillet.
For a side dish I prepared a box of Idahoan Loaded Potato Homestyle Casserole. I love all the Idahoan Potato Products. A very quick and easy way to prepare some delicious piping hot Potato Dishes. A very quick and easy way to prepare some delicious piping hot Potato Dishes.
For a 2nd side I prepared a can of Libby’s Shellie Beans. I had picked up a couple of cans at Meijer. I opened 1 can and added them to a small sauce pan that I sprayed with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray. I brought the beans to a rolling boil and reduced the heat to low until heated through. These are so good, it’s been a while since I’ve had any. Shellie Beans are Green Beans with added Pinto Beans.
I also baked a small can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls. For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chery Jello.

Today’s Menu: Chicken Bacon and Sharp Cheddar Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries
For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs that I sprinkled some Sargento Off the Block Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Ortega Smoky Chipotle Taco Sauce. Next I toasted a couple of slices of Aunt Millie’s Live Light Whole Grain Bread that I topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Another Cold and Gloomy Day out! We had a high of 33 degrees and windy out today. After I ate I went to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Back home a while back I had purchased some new Furniture Coasters. I put the Coasters under all the Furniture, that way it’s easy to move if need be and easy to move to vacuum and clean under it. The ones I had under a lot of Furniture are worn out so it was time to replace them. That was about it for the day. For Dinner tonight a Chicken Bacon and Sharp Cheddar Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries.
I had bought Mom some Omaha Steaks Burgers, yes I’m using Beef! I rarely use Beef but Mom had tried these a while back so I purchased a box for her. So we are having a couple more of them tonight for Dinner, I think these are the last 2. Anyway they come frozen 6 (4 oz.) burgers. So I laid a couple of them in the fridge overnight to thaw. To prepare them I’ll be needing the Burgers, Extra Light Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper, al fresco Chicken Bacon, A-1 Thick and Hearty Steak Sauce, Kraft Deli Style Sharp Cheddar Cheese, and Healthy Life Wheat Hamburger Buns. The Bacon was already cooked I just heated it up a bit.
To prepare the Burgers I preheat a small amount of the Olive Oil in non-stick pan over medium heat. Add burgers, pan frying for 6-8 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°F. checked by a meat thermometer. After 4 minutes I flipped the Burgers and with 1 minute of cooking time left I added a 1/2 slice of the Cheese.
I served the Burgers on the Healthy Life Buns. I topped the Burgers with the al fresco Chicken Bacon and served! The Burger was delicious! Nicely seasoned and juicy! The Bacon and Cheese worked perfect. I guess I’ll have to have Beef a bit more often, good job Omaha Steaks!
I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries. Served with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

For Breakfast I toasted a couple Eggo’s Nurti Grain Waffles. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea for Breakfast. It’s a Chilly Morning out there this morning, 39 degrees! But the rain has finally stopped and it was cloudy, very windy, and 48 degrees for the day. I went to Meijer after Breakfast, Mom needed a few items. Stopped by McDonald’s on the way back home and picked up Breakfast for her. Well our new drainage system that I had installed along the side of driveway works great! Good flow and no flooding. After Lunch I got the rake and leaf blower out cleaned off the deck and driveway. Then did a little yard work in the front yard. For Dinner tonight a Chicken Bacon and American Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries.

Pot Roast Sandwich w/ Red Potatoes and Sliced Carrots

Today’s Menu: Pot Roast Sandwich w/ Red Potatoes and Sliced Carrots
To start the day I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin that I topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Same gloomy weather outside again. High of 53, cloudy, gray, and light rain. A very nice lady that leaves here in our community saves the frozen meals that she does not use from Meals on Wheels and the Free Store and every week or two I’ll go up and she gives them to me. Then I go around to 4 or 5 neighbors and pass them out to the ones that need it. She feels good like I do to help others. That’s what it is all about! So for Dinner tonight I heated up the Leftover Pot Roast, Potatoes, and Carrots. I made a Pot Roast Sandwich with a side of Vegetables. I used Healthy Life Wheat Buns for the Sandwich. I’ll be purchasing more of the Omaha Steaks Pot Roast. I’ve left the original post from last night for the description and preparation. Take Care and Stay Safe!
I purchased the Pot roast from Omaha Steaks and had it in the freezer. So I sat it in the fridge and let it thaw overnight. It’s fully cooked so you are just warming it up. To prepare it I preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Remove the roast and juice from package and placed in covered pan. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Wow, what a beautiful looking Roast!
It sliced up so tender with plenty of juices and seasoned perfectly! And the taste is spot on, just an excellent Roast, thank you Omaha Steaks!
To go with the Roast chopped up some Carrots that I had purchased from Meijer. I first washed the Carrots off in cold water. I then grabbed a large size sauce pan and filled it with water. Added Salt to the water and heated it on high. When the water came to a boil I added the sliced Carrots. I cooked them until fork tender. Drained the water and put the cooked Carrots in a bowl. Seasoned with a bit more Salt and they were ready.
I also prepared some Red Potatoes. I quartered and seasoned the Red Potatoes with Dill, Sea Salt, Ground Black Pepper, and Garlic Powder. I used a Cast Iron Skillet that I heated up on medium and added a tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I added the Red Potatoes and fried them for about 7 minutes and then put them in the oven, that was already at 400 degrees, and roasted them for about another 20 minutes until they were fork tender. Excellent way to prepare Red Potatoes! For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Cherry Jello.
