Today’s Menu: Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Shoestring Fries

 

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I made some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, Heated up some Meijer Diced Ham, fried an Egg Sunnyside Up, made a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. I made a bed of the Hashbrowns in a bow and sprinkled some Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Next I put the Diced Ham over top the Hash Browns then put the Sunnyside Up Egg on to top it off! One delicious Breakfast!

 

 

After Lunch I went over to see Dad for a while. I had to get back and get some outdoor cleaning done. Got the leaf blower out and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. Then got the cart out so I could pull some weeds and spray some weed killer along our back property line. Beautiful outside today, 82 degrees and sunny! So for Dinner tonight its a Smoked Turkey Sausage Dog w/ Baked Shoestring Fries.

 

 

 

 

I used the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I cut the Sausage Links into Bun length pieces. I absolutely love the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. It’s got such a fantastic flavor and always cooks up just right. To prepare them I used a large skillet, added about a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and preheated it on medium heat. Put the Sausage in the skillet when it was heated up and covered with a lid. I turned the Sausage every few minutes to get an even char on them, cooked about 11 minutes total. As always they came out just bursting with flavor and flat-out delicious! I served it on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Bun and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard.

 

To go with the Sausage Dog I baked up some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with Morton’s Lite salt and Ground Black Pepper. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right.! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. Served with a side of my favorite Ketchup, Hunt’s Ketchup. I had a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink. For Dessert later a Weight Watcher’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar, love these things!

Today’s Menu: Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage w/ Baked Fries

 

For Breakfast this morning I had a bowl of Cheerios’s Cereal and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I had to get the hedge clippers and leaf blower out. I had to trim back Mom’s Rose Bushes they growing up over on to the wooden deck out front. Then used the leaf blower and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. I went to see Dad at the rehab center. He seems to be doing good. Hopefully he’ll be home in a couple of weeks. Back home, I got the cart out and finished up some yard work and took a spin around the neighborhood. It’s a little hotter and the humidity was a tad worse. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages w/ Baked Shoestring Fries.

 

 

I used the healthy and delicious Jennie O Lean Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages. I had bought a package at Meijer the other day. I pan fried them, using Pam w/ Olive Oil Cooking Spray and no oil needed. Heated the pan on medium and cooked a total of about 17 minutes, turning the Sausages occasionally. They fry up plump and brown, as always Jennie – O Products always have that fresh taste to them. The Sausages have 160 calories and 0 carbs per Sausage.

 

 

 

I served it on a Aunt Millie’s New England Style Potato Hot Dog Bun. Second time we’ve used these Buns. They’re a bit higher in calories and carbs than the Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calories Buns I normally buy. The buns are a top loaded bun. Plus they have a Potato flavor to them. I topped the Sausage with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. Love these Sweet Italian Sausages, thank you Jennie – O! I made 2 of them having one tonight and the other for Lunch tomorrow.

 

 

 

Then for a side I baked some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn Medley. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, excellent Shoestring Fry! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Free.

Today’s Menu: Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Shoestring Fries

 

 

For Breakfast on this Thursday morning I toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin and topped with Smucker’s Sugarless Blackberry Jam. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Mostly sunny and 54 degrees out but the humidity was up a bit. Started the laundry after Breakfast. Outside got the leaf blower out and cleaned of the deck area and the driveway. After Lunch went over to see Dad for the afternoon. He’s doing good one day and not so good the next day. Hope he starts improving soon! So for Dinner tonight its a Smoked Turkey Sausage Dog w/ Baked Shoestring Fries.

Today’s Menu: Crab Cake Slider w/ Baked Fries

 

Started my morning off with 2 slices of toasted Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread (lightly buttered), 1 medium egg (sunnyside up), 2 Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, and my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I went to the local Kroger up the road, needed a few items. Stopped by the ATM and got gas before heading back. Another hot day out, 91 degrees and humid. Did some light cleaning up around the house and cleaned around the house outside. Not much else going on for the day. So for dinner tonight it’s Crab Cake Slider w/ Baked Fries.

 

 

I’m using Kroger Private Selection Maryland Style Crab Cakes. They come frozen and there’s 2 to a box. To prepare them just preheat the oven on 400 degrees and bake for 30 minutes. Nothing beats a fresh made Crab Cake, but these are too good to be frozen! They’re just the right size, about 3.5 ounces each, and full of flavor. Baked them for about 30 minutes and they were done. Served then on a Pepperidge Farm Wheat Slider Buns. Topped them with Louisiana Remoulade Dressing. This makes one delicious Slider! The taste of the Crab Meat and Remoulade Sauce is perfect together! If you want one flavorful Remoulade Sauce you have to try the LOUISIANA Remoulade Dressing. This sauce is incredible and is good on about anything you put it on!

 

Then I also Baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Fries, with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Weight Watcher’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar..

Today’s Menu: Buffalo Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries

Headed out to Meijer, they had some items on sale I needed. Dad did good his first day back home. So for Dinner tonight I prepared a Buffalo Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries.

 

 

 

Time to satisfy that Buffalo Burger craving! I used the Wild Idea Buffalo Buffalo Burgers. I always have a couple of packages of them in the freezer so I grabbed one of the patties and let it thaw overnight in the fridge. To prepare it I seasoned it with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it, on medium heat, in Extra Light Virgin Olive Oil about 3 1/2 minutes per side. Buffalo gets done rather quickly due to it’s so lean. After I flipped it, I topped it with a slice of Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese and then served it on an Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun. Lean and delicious, love these Buffalo Burgers!

Today’s Menu: Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Shoestring Fries

 
To start the morning I toasted a Thomas Bagel Thin. These toast up great and make very good Breakfast Sandwich. Then I Scrambled some Egg Beater’s Egg Whites and took one slice of Sargeto Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese to top the Egg Whites. And I have my Breakfast Sandwich! I was at Kroger yesterday and they had the Thomas Bagel thins on sale, buy 1 get one free. These are 110 calories and 21 net carbs. I froze one package so we’ll see how they hold up. We had about 1 1/2 inches of rain overnight, lot of local flooding down in Cincinnati. After Breakfast I took Mom’s car in to have the oil changed at a local Car Repair we go to. Then after Lunch I went over to spend some time with Dad. Back home did a load of laundry for Mom. So for Dinner tonight its a Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Baked Shoestring Fries.

 

 

I used the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I cut the Sausage Links into Bun length pieces. I absolutely love the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. It’s got such a fantastic flavor and always cooks up just right. To prepare them I used a large skillet, added about a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and preheated it on medium heat. Put the Sausage in the skillet when it was heated up and covered with a lid. I turned the Sausage every few minutes to get an even char on them, cooked about 11 minutes total. As always they came out just bursting with flavor and flat-out delicious! I served it on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Bun and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard.

 

 

To go with the Sausage Dog I baked up some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with Morton’s Lite salt and Ground Black Pepper. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right.! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. Served with a side of my favorite Ketchup, Hunt’s Ketchup. I had a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink. For Dessert later a Weight Watcher’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar, love these things!

Today’s Menu: Buffalo Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries

 

 


For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin and topped it with Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. Also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I headed out to Meijer and Kroger to pick up a few items for Mom and myself. Then stopped at McDonald’s to pick up Breakfast for Mom. Back home had Lunch and afterward headed over to see Dad. He’s not looking too good at all right now, only pray that he gets better. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Buffalo Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries.

 
Time to satisfy my Buffalo Burger craving! I used the Wild Idea Buffalo Buffalo Burger. I always have a couple of packages of them in the freezer so I grabbed one of the patties and let it thaw overnight in the fridge. To prepare it I seasoned it with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it, on medium heat, in Extra Light Virgin Olive Oil about 3 1/2 minutes per side. Buffalo gets done rather quickly due to it’s so lean. After I flipped it, I topped it with a slice of Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese and then served it on an Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun. Lean and delicious, love these Buffalo Burgers!

 

 

Then for a side I baked some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn Medley. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, excellent Shoestring Fry! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. For dessert later Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.

Today’s Menu: Buffalo Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries
