Today’s Menu: Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys
For Breakfast this morning I had my morning I prepared a packet of Pioneer White Pepper Gravy, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Living Carb Smart Wheat Bread, heated up 2 Johnsonville Turkey Sausage Links, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Nice start to the day! 84 degrees, mostly sunny, and no humidity. Not bad at all outside. Well it’s been a while since I’ve done a Dinner Post but finally after a lot of pain and 6 weeks of healing I’m almost at 100%. I’ve had a few setbacks along the way but I’m almost there! Word of warning bruised tail bone is No Fun! So I got out and did some yard work. My garden except for 3 plants are done for the year. Feels so good to be out and about pain free! For Dinner tonight it’s Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.
So as usual I used Ball Park Smoked White Meat Turkey Franks, an excellent Turkey Frank! I boiled them, it took about 6 minutes and they were ready, plump, and delicious. Plus they are lower in calories and carbs than most other Hot Dogs, 45 calories and 5 carbs!
I heated a can of Skyline Chili with Beans for my topping. We prefer the Chili with Beans over the Chili with no Beans. It just gives the Coneys even more flavor with the added Beans! I served everything on a Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Hot Dog Buns. Put the Frank in the Bun then topped it with French’s Yellow Mustard, the Chili, and Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese. Had a small side of some Skyline Oyster Crackers with a few drops of Frank’s Hot Sauce on them, which is a common way to have them here in the Cincinnati area. We love our Chili, Chili Dogs, Chili Spaghetti, and Hot Sauce here in the Cincinnati area. For Dessert/ Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzel Sticks with a Diet Peach Snapple to drink. Take Care and Stay Safe Everyone!

For Breakfast this morning I had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 81 degrees, mostly sunny, and no humidity. Not bad at all outside. I had to have Mom over to Miracle Ear at 12:30 this afternoon. They cleaned it and made some minor adjustments. It’s been a slow process but I’m feeling a lot better, still a bit to go. Anyway I got a little yard work done today. For Dinner tonight it’s Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

For Breakfast this morning I had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. They called with my test results and there was one problem, they found a place on my right kidney. The Doc talked to me and he told me not to fret over it. In his opinion it’s a cyst. Which if is it can be taken care of. Hopefully he’s right! 49 degrees out this morning. Sunny and 81 degrees out today. After my Tea I headed outside and watered the lawn, we need some rain! The yards around the neighborhood are stating to show brown spots. Next I watered all the plants. Then at 1:00 this afternoon had to be back at the Urologist to give more blood for testing. Next they’ll schedule some scans at the hospital. Back home I just relaxed and rested. For Dinner tonight it’s Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

Skyline 3 Way – Chili, Spaghetti, Cheese w/ Side of Oyster Crackers

Today’s Menu: Skyline 3 Way – Chili, Spaghetti, Cheese w/ Side of Oyster Crackers
Just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea for Breakfast. 88 degrees and mostly cloudy outdoors. Rain moving in later this evening, hopefully. We need a good rain the grass is starting to turn brown in spots. Same thing today I watered everything and did some yard work. Still a little slow today from the Phantom Pains from yesterday. They have even acted up today. For Dinner tonight I prepared a package of Skyline 3 Way – Chili, Spaghetti, Cheese w/ Side of Oyster Crackers.
It’s Skyline Time! For Dinner tonight I’m having a Skyline 3 Way – Chili, Spaghetti, Cheese w/ Side of Oyster Crackers. Nothing says comfort food more than a Skyline 3 Way! As always I used my favorite, the Skyline 3 Way – Chili, Spaghetti. It comes packaged for the microwave, a bit smaller size than what you get at a Skyline but just right for those that want fewer calories and carbs than the normal size. It comes with Spaghetti topped with Skyline Chili. To prepare it, it couldn’t be easier! Just shake the pouch. Then tear the corner off to vent while cooking. Place the pouch standing upright in the microwave. Then microwave on high for 2 1/2 minutes. Let stand for 1 minute and it’s ready! And I needed this. I had not had this in a while and as always it really hit the spot!
Poured the Chili/Spaghetti into a bowl, added a couple of shakes of Frank’s Hot Sauce, topped it with Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese. I also had a side of Skyline Oyster Crackers. And if you’re having Oyster Crackers, then Frank’s Red Hot Sauce is a must! Just add a few drops on top of the Crackers, it’s the local way to have your Oyster Crackers. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.
Skyline Chili Spaghetti, 14oz Microwavable Pouch
It’s a great new way to enjoy the original Cincinnati favorite, Skyline Chili with spaghetti!
* Skyline Chili Spaghetti One 14oz Microwavable Pouch
* Convenient for a quick meal.
* Cheese Not Included

Today’s Menu: Hickory Smoked Ham and Swiss Sandwich
Just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea to start my morning off. 89 degrees, humid, and mostly sunny outside. Not a comfortable day out. But I was in all day. I had those Phantom Pains hit me about 1:00 last night and they didn’t stop till about 11:00 this morning. So I spent the day catching up with some sleep and relaxing. For Dinner tonight I had a Hickory Smoked Ham and Swiss Sandwich.
I had bought the Kentucky Legend Brown Sugar Hickory Smoked Quarter Ham at Meijer. I’ve baked a few of these now and really enjoy them.
To prepare it; Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the Kentucky Legend Ham from the packaging and place it in a baking dish that’s at least 2 inches deep. Add enough water to just cover the bottom of the pan. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil. Crimp the edges of the foil tightly over the pan edges to prevent steam from escaping. Place the baking dish into the oven and heat the Ham until a meat thermometer shows an internal temperature of at least 140 degrees Fahrenheit. The amount of time this takes depends on the size and shape of the ham. Mine took 80 minutes. When the Ham is heated through, remove the baking pan from the oven. Leave the foil on the pan for 15 minutes to rest the meat before removing it and carving.
I’m using Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Wheat Bread and I’ll need Emeril’s New York Deli Style Mustard, Boar’s Head Imported Switzerland Swiss Cheese. I assembled my Sandwich, Ham, French’s Spicy Brown Mustard, served on Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. What a Sandwich! The Ham is delicious and moist. Excellent Ham Sandwich! Love them leftovers! For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with a Coke Zero to drink.

Creamy Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Today’s Menu: Creamy Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich
To start this day off I prepared my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 87 degrees and mostly sunny out, a bit more humid than it’s been. Once again they came over to see if they could trace down the trouble with our cable TV. The picture freezes up from time to time and they can’t seem to fix it. The tech replaced a couple of things to see if that works, wait and see I guess. Later I cleaned up the shed. Then I cleaned off the deck and driveway. For Dinner tonight I prepared Creamy Tomato Soup w/ Grilled Cheese Sandwich.
Keeping it simple for Dinner, Creamy Tomato Soup and a Grilled Cheese. Fantastic Comfort Food! I heated up a can of Amy’s Organic Creamy Tomato Soup. My favorite Tomato Soup by far. I’ve been using for quite some time now. So creamy with a fantastic flavor and it’s 110 calories and 19 carbs. Just empty the contents into a small sauce pan and heat on medium, stirring often, until heated. And it’s ready to go and so good!
Then for my Grilled Cheese I’ll be using; Kraft Deli Deluxe Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Blue Bonnet Light Butter, and Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. I started by buttering the outside half of a slice of bread. Layered 2 slices of the Sharp Cheddar on top. Added my top half of the sliced bread, buttering the outside of the slice. I then got out a skillet, heated it up on medium heat and lightly coated it with a 1/2 pat of Butter. When the Butter was melted I added my sandwich. Grilled it on both sides until it was golden brown and the Cheese melted. For Dessert/Snack tonight I had a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Stick Pretzels with a Coke Zero to drink.

Sharp Cheddar and Bacon Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries

Today’s Menu: Sharp Cheddar and Bacon Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries
To start the day I Scrambled a couple of Eggs, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Wheat Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. It is one hot and humid day out there! 91 degrees but with bad humidity out there it feels like 100 degrees. You can walk outside and it feels like you are walking into a sauna. Even worse tomorrow they say. I have a couple of Doctor yearly checkups this week. Stayed indoors, too hot and humid out there. For Dinner tonight it’s a Sharp Cheddar and Chicken Bacon Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.
I first fried the Bacon. I started by grabbing a skillet and spraying it with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray and heating it on medium heat. For the Bacon I’m using Kroger Private Selection Double Smoked Bacon. It fries up perfect with an excellent taste. I need 2 slices but fried 5 slices. Always remember when frying Bacon use the Bacon Math. Just decide how many slices you’ll need and double it or so. Because, at least when I fry Bacon, you end up eating as much as you fry as you’re preparing it!
I had bought a package of the Jennie – O Lean 93% Lean Turkey Burger Patties at Meijer and had them in the freezer. I grabbed a couple of them last night and let it thaw in the fridge overnight. To prepare the Burger I grabbed a skillet, sprayed it with Pam and added 2 teaspoons of Extra Light Olive Oil, heated it on medium heat. When ready I added the Turkey Burger and cooked it for 12 minutes flipping it 3 times. With a minute of cooking time left I added a slice of Kraft Deli Deluxe Sharp Cheddar Cheese. And done!
Added the Bacon, Lettuce, some Hellman’s Spicy Chipotle Mayonnaise (my favorite Mayo) and served it on a Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Hamburger Bun. Just love these Burgers, juicy and delicious, and with the Sharp Cheddar and Bacon it makes it that much better! I love this Mayo. The Hellman’s Spicy Chipotle Mayonnaise is nice and creamy with excellent flavor, with a little kick to it!
I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries. I baked them for 20 minutes and done. Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzel Sticks with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Turkey and Black Bean Tacos
To start the day off I made some French Toast. I used Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Wheat Bread, Egg Beaters, 2% Milk, Ground Nutmeg, and Ground Cinnamon. Mix all the ingredients, except the Bread, in a bowl until well mixed. Heat up a skillet sprayed with Pam Non Stick Spray and Blue Bonnet Light Butter. Dip the Bread in the mix and shake off the excess. Then add the Bread and fry until Golden on both sides. I love French Toast! I topped the Toast with the Butter and Log Cabin Sugar Free Maple Syrup. I also heated up 2 Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Fantastic Breakfast! Outside today, 76 degrees, windy, and cloudy. I met a couple of friends at the West Chester Farmer’s Market. Only my 2nd time there. It’s a whole lot bigger and more expensive since my last visit. Back home it was the usual, watered all the plants and cleaned up the deck and driveway areas. Later I did a load of laundry for Mom. Dinner tonight, Turkey and Black Bean Tacos.
I know it’s not Taco Tuesday but around here it’s Taco Saturday! When making Turkey Tacos I always use Jennie -O Ground Turkey Breast! Love all the Jennie -O Turkey Products, always fresh and low calorie and low carb. I started by frying the Ground Turkey till it was no longer pink in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and seasoning it with Sea Salt, Ground Roasted Cumin, and Cilantro Flakes. As the Turkey was finishing cooking I added 1 can Bush’s Chili Black Beans, 1 package of Old El Paso Low Sodium Taco Seasoning and 3/4 cup Water, and continued to cook and stir for an additional 6 minutes. Jennie -O and Old El Paso together make some fine Tacos!
For toppings I used; Sargento Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Mexican, Sliced Black Olives, Sliced Green Olives, Ortega Smoky Chipotle Taco Sauce (my favorite), Sliced Jalapenos, and Shredded Lettuce. For my Taco Shells I used the Old El Paso Stand N’ Stuff Taco Shells (Whole Grain Corn). Add the Turkey and you have some mouth watering and delicious Tacos! Love these Taco Meal Nights. For Dessert later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Popcorn and a Diet Peach Snapple to drink. Take Care and Stay Safe Everyone!

Today’s Menu: Hickory Smoked Ham and Swiss Sandwich
Just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea to start my morning off. Heavy rain overnight with light rain in the morning. 77 degrees with passing rain showers for the day. After my Tea I went to Kroger. On my way there all the gas stations were at $5.09 a gallon for gas!! I go to Kroger to save gas because it’s only 3 miles from the house. Then you go to the store and you are being charged 25% or more higher prices for your groceries! I hope the Whitehouse is proud of what they are doing to our Country! I’ll stop at that. On the way back I stopped and topped off the gas. Just over 1/4 of tank, $25..00! I’m going home and staying at home. Take Care and Stay Safe All! For Dinner tonight I had a Leftover Hickory Smoked Ham and Swiss Sandwich.
I bought the Kentucky Legend Brown Sugar Hickory Smoked Quarter Ham at Walmart the other day.
Today’s Menu: Grilled Ham and Swiss w/ Baked Golden Fries
To start my day off I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 87 degrees, humid, and mostly sunny out. We had thunderstorms moving in later. We had to have Mom’s car over to Safe Light at 10:00 to have the window replaced. It took a while to get some parts in for it. They did a great job there. Back home watered my garden and Mom’s flowers. So for Dinner tonight I prepared a Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Ham, Dietz and Watson Swiss Cheese, French’s Yellow Mustard, Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil, and Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Wheat Bread.
To prepare the Sandwich I’ll need; Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Ham, Dietz and Watson Swiss Cheese, French’s Yellow Mustard, Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil, and Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Wheat Bread.
To grill it I used a small Cast Iron Skillet with a very light coat of Pam Cooking Spray and spread about 1/2 tablespoon of Blue Bonnet Light Butter in it. Heat it on medium heat. I also turned the oven on at 425 degrees, for the Fries.
While the Cast Iron was heating I got the Sandwich ready to grill. Took a slice of the Bread and topped it with some of the Kraft Mayo, the Boar’s Head Ham, the Sargento Swiss, French’s Mustard, and added the top slice of the Bread. I then Buttered the bottom and top halves of the Bread with Blue Bonnet Butter. With the griddle heated I grilled my Sandwich. Grilled the bottom half for just over 3 minutes, then flipped it over and grilled the other side for about 3 minutes. Until both sides were golden brown! I love these Grilled Sandwiches!
I also prepared some Ore Ida Golden Fries with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For Dessert/Snack later Had a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels along with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.
