Just a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea for Breakfast. Rain and more rain all day, 67 degrees and humid out. I had to have Mom over to Miracle Ear for her new hearing aids at 2:00. That was our day. For Dinner tonight I grilled Hot Dogs and Brats along with a side of Potato Chips.

I fired up the grill after we got home for some Brats and Hot Dogs! I used BlueGrass Bratwurst and Ball Park Smoked White Turkey Franks. Served them on Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Hot Dog Buns. For the Chips we had Mike Sell’s Reduced Fat Potato Chips. Served on Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Hot Dog Buns. For Dessert a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding Cup. Take Care and Stay Safe Everyone!

Today’s Menu: Brats, Metts, Beans, and Chips

Happy 4th of July Everyone! For Breakfast this morning I fried up a Sunny Side Egg, Fried up some slices of Kahn’s Bologna, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Wheat Live Carb Smart Bread, and had a cup of BIgelow Decaf Green Tea. Summer weather has returned to West Chester! 92 degrees, sunny, and humid. After Breakfast I started a couple of loads of laundry. Then it was outside. I watered all the plants and picked a few of my Banana Peppers. I’m starting to worry about the Roma Tomatoes. My 2 plants are full of Tomatoes but none turning Red yet, hope they turn. Cleaned up the grill while I was outside also. Later I just kicked back and watched some TV. For Dinner tonight it’s Brats, Metts, Beans, and Chips.

We kept it simple for July 3rd. I picked up a package of Blue Grass Bratwursts and Mettwursts, there’s 3 of each kind in the package. I bought another package of the Blue Grass Brats and Mettwursts from Jungle Jim’s the other day. There’s 6 Sausages that come in the package, 3 Brats and 3 Mettwursts. I greased the grill grates and fired the grill up! I prepared all 6 of the Brats and Metts, we’ll have the leftovers for a couple of Lunches. We served the Sausages on Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Hot Dog Buns (45 calories and 2 net carbs per Bun). Topped them with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. Nothing like Grilling on the 4th!

For sides I heated up some Meijer Amish Baked Beans. These are perhaps the best Baked Beans I have ever had, so good! I had mine cold and heated Mom’s up for her. We also had some Mike Sell’s Reduced Fat Potato Chips and served with some Lay’s Ranch Dressing. For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding. Hope all of you Enjoyed the Weekend! Take Care All.

Today’s Menu: Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts

For Breakfast this morning I made a Breakfast Sandwich using Pillsbury Flaky Biscuits, Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties, and a 1/4 slice of Hoffman Super Sharp Cheese. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Partly cloudy and 41 degrees outside today. After Breakfast did a load of laundry. After that I laid down and rested, I’ve had a Sinus Headache since yesterday. With the temperatures going up and down my Sinuses are a problem. Felt better as the day went on. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwurst for Dinner tonight.

I had a package of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst in the freezer. So I got a package out of the freezer and put it in the fridge overnight to thaw. Jungle Jim’s International Market is the only place I can find these and they don’t have them in stock too often.

To prepare them I used a large size skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray and added the Metts. I then added water to the pan, just enough water to cover about a 1/4 of Metts. Turned the heat on medium and covered the pan. I turned the Metts frequently to get a nice even cook on them. When the water had boiled down I cooked them an extra 3 minutes to brown them. They turned out fantastic, nice and meaty! Plus being the Bluegrass Lean type , just 1/2 the calories of other Metts. I served them on Healthy Life Wheat Hot Dog Buns and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts

For Breakfast this morning a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 43 degrees and partly sunny out today, at least the rains have stopped for the day. So after my Tea I headed out to Meijer for a few items. Stopped by the ATM, got gas, and stopped at McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Thought I would go get everything today because the rain is moving back in for the rest of the week. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts for Dinner tonight.

I had a packages of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst in the freezer. So I got a couple of them out and set them in the fridge overnight to thaw. Jungle Jim’s International Market is the only place I can find these and they don’t have them in stock too often.

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin, Scrambled 2 Eggs, fried 2 Johnsonville Fresh Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Partly cloudy, 95 degrees and humid out there today. After Breakfast I went and picked up Breakfast for Mom at McDonald’s. Later took Mom’s car over and had it washed and I vacuumed the insides. Then back home cleaned the inside of the windows and dash. Looks pretty good! Too hot and humid to be outside too long. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts for Dinner tonight.

I had purchased a couple of packages of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst while at Jungle Jim’s International Market yesterday. I kept one package out and froze the other. I also bought a package of Blue Grass Brats for Mom.

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin and topped it with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. Also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Outside its mostly sunny and 90 degrees, 2 days in a row of no rain! Took my car and then took Mom’s car up to the car wash. Then went to Walmart and bought Mom some new car floor mats. Got the cart out of the shed and did some yard work and a spin around the neighborhood. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts for Dinner tonight.

I had purchased a couple of packages of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst while at Jungle Jim’s International Market last week. Had them in the freezer so I took a couple of them out of the package to thaw overnight in the fridge.

Today’s Menu: Grilled Mettwursts w/ Baked Fries

To start this morning off I prepared a Poached Egg and served it on a toasted Thomas Light 100% Multi Grain English Muffin. I also heated up a couple of Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Mostly cloudy and 64 degrees out today. The wind is blowing around 20 miles per hour and there’s a bit of nip in air! Got the cart out of the shed and did some yard work and I planted 4 Tomato Plants that I had bought Mom yesterday. We have a nice little mini garden going. Tomato Plants, a Rosemary plant, a couple of Parsley plants, 2 Bell Pepper plants, a Thai Pepper Plant, a Jalapeno Plant, and 4 Strawberry plants. For Dinner tonight I fired the Grill back up. Tonight its Grilled Lean Mettwursts w/ Baked Fries.

I had a package of the Blue Grass Lean Mettwursts that I bought from Jungle Jim’s in the freezer. Sat the package in the fridge over night to thaw. There’s 6 Sausages that come in the package. I greased the grill grates and fired the grill up! I prepared all 6 of the of the Metts, we’ll have the leftovers for a couple of Lunches. We served the Sausages on Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns and topped them with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. Nothing like Grilling! These are 70 less calories than the normal Mett, bought 4 packages of those and have them in the freezer.

I also prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Coke Zero to drink.
