Today’s Menu: Turkey Brat Dogs and Beans

For Breakfast I Poached an Egg, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 94 degrees and very humid. After Breakfast I got the cart, rake, and leaf blower out and raked the back yard before it got too humid out. Did a few things around the house. Later in the day I went to Kroger to Pick Up an order I had placed. For Dinner tonight its Turkey Brat Dogs and Beans.

To prepare it; I first started by preparing the Turkey Bratwursts. I used Johnsonville Turkey Bratwursts. I bought these from Meijer, which carries the the full line of Johnsonville Products, I had them in the freezer and laid a package of them in the fridge to thaw overnight. I prepared them in a 3-quart saucepan. Sprayed the skillet with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray and added a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil. Cooked them for about 21 minutes until cooked through. They browned up perfect, one good tasting Brat! I served it on a Healthy Life Wheat Hot Dog Bun, topping it with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard.

For a side I prepared a can of Bush’s Country Style Baked Beans, Mom’s favorite! Just open the can and empty the Beans Into Saucepan. Heat To Simmer until heated through. Love these Bush’s Beans! Brats and Beans Dinner tonight! For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with a Diet Mango/Tea Snapple to drink.

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin that I topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 40 degrees and cloudy out today. We need a week of sunshine around here! After Breakfast I went to Walmart for a couple of items. Back home did a load of laundry and did a few things around the house. For Dinner tonight I had Grilled Brats and Baked Fries for Dinner.

Having the Johnsonville Fresh Turkey Premium Original Bratwurst. They are so delicious and fresh! They cook up on the grill or skillet perfect every time!

So I uncovered the Grill outside and fired it up. Back inside I got the Bratwursts out of the fridge and sprayed them with Pam Non Stick Spray. With the grill ready I added the Brats and shut the lid of the grill. Grilled them for about 18 minutes, turning the links often.

To go with my Brats I prepared some Ore Ida Golden Crinkle Cut French Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzel Sticks with a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Quite a change in the weather. We had record breaking heat for the last 5 days or so and this morning it was 45 degrees out! Mostly sunny and 70 degrees for the day! Got some yard work done and raked some leaves. At 4:00 this afternoon we went over to my cousins and watched the Fairfield Homecoming Parade. My cousin’s girl is a freshman this year and she marched in the parade! Back home later I Grilled Brats, Baked Fries for Dinner.

For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs and topped them with Sargento Shredded Reduced Calorie Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Then I made some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns and toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. I was starved this morning! 91 degrees and partly cloudy today, and very humid. My allergies kept me in most of the day. Sneezing along with one bad headache. For Dinner tonight I prepared Grilled Brats, Baked Fries and Beans.

Having the Johnsonville Fresh Turkey Premium Original Bratwurst. They are so delicious fresh! They are natural meat color instead of the usual white colored Brats. Love these.
