Today’s Menu: Turkey Brat Dogs and Beans
For Breakfast I Scrambled a couple of Eggs, fried a couple of slices al fresco Chicken Bacon, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Mostly sunny and 55 degrees out, and of course its windy! Did a couple of loads of laundry after Lunch. Then cleaned the house. For Dinner tonight its Turkey Brat Dogs and Beans.
To prepare it; I first started by preparing the Turkey Bratwursts. I used Johnsonville Turkey Bratwursts. I bought these from Meijer, which carries the the full line of Johnsonville Products, I had them in the freezer and laid a package of them in the fridge to thaw overnight. I prepared them in a 3-quart saucepan. Sprayed the skillet with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray and added a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil. Cooked them for about 21 minutes until cooked through. They browned up perfect, one good tasting Brat! I served it on a Healthy Life Wheat Hot Dog Bun, topping it with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard.
For a side I prepared a can of Bush’s Country Style Baked Beans. Just open the can and empty the Beans Into Saucepan. Heat To Simmer until heated through. Love these Bush’s Beans! Brats and Beans Dinner tonight! For Dessert later some Honey Crisp Apple slices.
