Today’s Menu: 6 oz. Buffalo Sirloin w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast

To start the day off I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea also. 78 degrees and sunny out today. It’s going to be a day of clean up outside! Our yard seems to be the stopping point for all tree limbs, leaves, and garbage. Seriously our yard is like a magnet for any and all debris. So I got the cart, rake, leaf blower, and garbage yard bags out and did some cleaning! Kept the cart out and took a spin around the neighborhood and enjoyed the beautiful day. For Dinner tonight its a 6 oz. Buffalo Sirloin w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast.

I had the 6 oz. Buffalo Sirloin in the freezer and sat it in the fridge overnight to thaw. I love these Wild Idea Buffalo Steaks, always lean and so delicious! I always try to have a supply of them in the freezer. To prepare it I turned the oven on to 400 degrees. Next I rubbed the Steak with a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil. Then seasoned it with Dried Rosemary and the Wild Idea Omnivore Salt. As the Steak rested I preheated a Cast Iron Skillet. When the Skillet was heated I added my Buffalo Sirloin, I cooked it 2 minutes on 1 side and flipped it over and cooked it another 1 minute. Then I moved the Cast Iron to the oven to finish cooking. It came out to a beautiful Medium Rare! The Wild Idea Buffalo Steaks are just incredible. So juicy and tender.

For one side I had a baked Russet Potato. Seasoned that with the McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, and topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. Perfect side for any Steak Dinner!

I also baked a slice of New York Bakery Lite Texas Toast. I just love the trio of the Wild Idea Buffalo Steak, Baked Potato, and Texas Toast! It always reminds me of when me, Mom, and Dad would go out every Friday for a Steak Dinner! Such a good memory. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

To start the day off I prepared a Potatoes and Ham Breakfast Skillet. I used 1 package of Simply Potatoes Steakhouse Seasoned Diced Potatoes and a package of Meijer Diced Ham. Just cooked the Potatoes according to the package instructions and with about 5 minutes of cooking time left add the Diced Ham. I topped it with Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese and a Fried Egg Sunnyside Up. And Breakfast is served! Had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea also. 70 degrees and mostly sunny, also windy out there. After Breakfast I did a couple of loads of laundry. After Lunch I took my car up and had it washed and I vacuumed it out also while there. Back home did some light cleanup around the house. For Dinner tonight its a 6 oz. Buffalo Sirloin w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast.

To start the day off I prepared a Jimmy Dean Simple Scramble Cup – Crumbled Turkey Sausage, Egg Whites, Shredded Cheddar Cheese. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I went to Kroger for Mom and then stopped and picked up Breakfast for her at McDonald’s. Caught up on a few things in the house and outside. For Dinner tonight its a 6 oz. To start the day off I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin, topped it off with Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Showers and thunderstorms on and off with a high of 73 degrees. Managed to go to Meijer to get some grocery shopping done. We needed quite a few things, I had not been to the store in a while. Stopped by the ATM and then to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Did a few things around the house and outside swept the shed out. For Dinner tonight its a 6 oz. Buffalo Sirloin w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast.

To start the day off I prepared Skillet Potatoes and Ham for Breakfast. I used 1 package of Simply Potatoes Steakhouse Seasoned Diced Potatoes and a package of Meijer Diced Ham to prepare it. Just cook the Potatoes according to the package instructions and with about 5 minutes of cooking time left add the Diced Ham. Served it with a sprinkle of Sargeto Off the Block Aged Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Mostly sunny and 46 degrees outside today. After Breakfast I went to Walmart for a few items. Walmart finally has a large amount of new electric carts to use! Now I don’t have to get there at 6:00 in the morning to grab a charged cart or find the one cart that works. Anyway I stopped by McDonald’s to pick up Breakfast for Mom on the way home. Later in the day I went out to the shed and gathered up some things that we no longer need and sat them out for the garbage in the morning. Almost got the shed in shape. For Dinner tonight its a 6 oz. Buffalo Sirloin w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast.

Today’s Menu: Buffalo 6 oz. Sirloin Steak w/ Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, and Texas Toast (Light)

For Breakfast I toasted a couple Eggo Nutrigrain Waffles and had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 57 degrees and Sunny, not too bad for December 3rd! Feels more like an early Spring day than December. I went to Kroger after Breakfast and picked up Breakfast for Mom and Dad at McDonald’s. Not a whole going on today. Mom went to Church and I stayed home and kept an eye on Dad. Dad is going down hill fast, not sure how much longer he’s going to be around. The Dementia is getting worse every passing week. So for Dinner tonight I prepared a Buffalo 6 oz. Sirloin Steak w/ Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, and Texas Toast (Light).

I placed an order with Wild Idea Buffalo earlier this week and it was delivered on Friday afternoon and I’m having the Wild Idea Buffalo – FINE CUT SIRLOIN STEAK 6 OZ. for Dinner tonight. I absolutely love all the Wild Idea Buffalo Products, never have received a Steak that wasn’t delicious!

To prepare the Steak; I rubbed the Steak with a 1/2 teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Then seasoned it with McCormick’s Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. I then preheated a Cast Iron Skillet on medium heat. When the skillet was heated I added my Buffalo Sirloin, cooked it 5 minutes on one side then flipped it over and cooked the other side for 4 minutes. It came out a beautiful medium rare. Nice crust on the outside and pink in the center. Rare to Medium Rare is the only way to have Buffalo Steaks as far as I’m concerned. The Wild Idea Buffalo Steaks are just incredible. So tender, juicy, and the best flavor of any Steak. I topped the Steak with a bit of A-1 Sauce Thick and Hearty.

I prepared some Bob Evan’s Oven Baked Scalloped Potatoes. I hadn’t had these in quite a while so I picked up a package while at Meijer. It comes in a microwave package, just heat for 6 minutes and serve, or you can bake it which is how I prepared it. Comes out with plenty of Potatoes with an excellent Cheese Sauce and seasoning. Easy way to have Scalloped Potatoes with no clean up!

For a second side I reheated the Del Monte Cut Green Beans I had leftover from Dinner last night. Just love those Beans! I also baked a slice of the New York Bakery Light Texas Toast. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.
