Today’s Menu: Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

For Breakfast this morning I Poahced an Egg and served it on a toasted slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. Also had that morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea.Very windy and 51 degrees out today, but at least it’s not raining. Not real active today, I woke up about 4:00 this morning with those Phantom Pains. They finally let up around 2:00 this afternoon but as usual they took everything out of me. So it was truly a day of rest. For Dinner tonight I had a Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

As always I’m using the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Burgers. Just love these Buffalo Burgers; meaty, juicy and just flat out delicious! Preheated up a skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray, seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it about 3 1/2 minutes per side, and done. After I flipped the Burger I added a slice of Kraft Sharp Cheddar Cheese on top.

As my Burger was getting done, I had bought a loaf of Gold Miner California Sour Dough Bread at Meijer. I got 2 slices. I heated a skillet up and added some Blue Bonnet Light Butter and heated the pan on medium. Put my Burger on the Sour Dough Bread and toasted it in the skillet I just heated. I love that Sour Dough Bread. But I don’t have it too often because of the higher Calories and Carbs than the Aunt Millie’s Bread I normally use. The Burger was delicious!

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Sprite Zero to drink.

Today’s Menu: Chicken Bacon and Vermont Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast on this first day of 2019 I prepared a Poached Egg, heated up a couple of Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage Patties, toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. A great way to start 2019! Cloudy and 42 degrees out today. Not a lot going on today, gave Mom a hand in doing a couple of loads of laundry. After that and Lunch it was College Football for the rest of the day. So for my first Dinner of the year I prepared a Chicken Bacon and Vermont Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I started by getting a skillet and spraying it with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray and heating it on medium heat. For the Bacon I’m using al fresco Uncured Chicken Bacon. It fries up perfect with an excellent taste. I buy it at Meijer, it’s the only store I’ve found to carry it. I need to 2 slices but fried up 5 slices. Always remember when frying Bacon use the Bacon Math. Just decide how many slices you’ll need and double it or so. Because, at least when I fry Bacon, you end up eating as much as you fix as you’re preparing it!

For the Buffalo Burger I used my favorite as always, the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Buffalo Burgers as usual. Their meaty, juicy and just flat out delicious! Preheated up a small skillet, on medium heat, that I sprayed with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray, seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. I then pan fried it, in Extra Light Olive Oil, about 3 1/2 minutes per side. After flipping the Burger I added a slice of Boar’s Head Vermont Cheddar with about 1 minute of cook time left. Topped with the Chicken Bacon and served the Burger on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hamburger Bun. The Burger was juicy and delicious, as all the Wild Idea Burgers are. Just love a good Burger, Buffalo Burger!

To go with my Burger I baked some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, excellent Fry! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

For Breakfast this morning I Poached an Egg and served it on a Thomas Light 100% Multi Grain English Muffin. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea for Breakfast. Today’s Menu: Chicken Bacon and Vermont Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I cooked up some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, lightly fried 2 Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea for Breakfast. Chilly morning out there today, 34 degrees! Partly cloudy and a high of 55 degrees. After Breakfast I headed out to Meijer for a few items. On the way back home I stopped by the ATM and stopped by McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Back home got out the leaf blower and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Chicken Bacon and Vermont Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

Today’s Menu: Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

No Breakfast this morning, but had Brunch. Mom slept late and I went and got us both Panera Breakfast Sandwiches. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Beautiful Fall day out there today! Sunny and a high of 68 degrees. Got the leaf blower out and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. Then got the cart out of the shed and got some yard work done then when done took a spin around the neighborhood. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I just love these Buffalo Burgers! I made this one combining my two favorites, Wild idea Buffalo and Jennie – O Turkey! I used Jennie – O Turkey Bacon for my Burger topping. Heated up a medium size skillet on medium high heat and fried the Bacon until it was crisp. Removed it from the skillet to a Paper Towel lined plate, and set aside. Always remember when frying Bacon use Bacon Math. Just decide how many slices you’ll need and double it. Because, at least when I fry Bacon, you end up eating as much as you fix as you’re preparing it!

Today’s Menu: Chicken Bacon and Vermont Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

I just had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea for Breakfast. Still had a few things to do outside before the Landscapers got here. We’re having all the old bushes and roses pulled out and putting in new bushes and hedges. A high school friend of mine owns his own landscaping service and he’s doing the work for us. And what a job! It looks great, so much better! Thank you Dave great work. I had to call my dermatologist and get an appointment. I have a not so pretty place coming in on my right leg and wanted it to get checked asap! It worries me when something comes up like this. It brings back a lot bad memories having dealt with Melanoma for so long and costing my left leg. More on this when I know more. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Chicken Bacon and Vermont Cheddar Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I started by getting a skillet and spraying it with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray and heating it on medium heat. For the Bacon I’m using al fresco Uncured Chicken Bacon. For the Cheese I used Boar’s Head Vermont Cheddar. I tried a sample of it at Kroger a while back and really loved the taste. It melts perfectly and has an excellent Cheddar taste. Our Cheese of choice lately!

To go with my Burger I baked some of my favorite Fries – Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. Pastrami and Swiss Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

Today’s Menu: Pastrami and Swiss Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

To start my morning off I Poached an Egg and served it on a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. I also heated up a couple of Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links along with a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Weather wise its about the same Hot and Humid. They say our hottest days will be Wednesday and Thursday. So after Breakfast I started touching up the shutters outside. Nothing major, just a few places on them needed some paint. I’m having the ramp leading to the Kitchen revarnished Tuesday, my neighbor is doing it for me. Anyway I got everything done outside before it became too hot and humid. For Dinner tonight I tried something new. I prepared a Pastrami and Swiss Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

This recipe was inspired from one of the Diners, Drive-Ins, ans Dives, one of my favorite shows! I’ve come across so many recipes watching this show. It’s sort of a strange combo but it looked great on TV and thought I would give it a try. For my Burger I’ll need; the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Buffalo Burger, Boar’s Head Pastrami and Boar’s Head Imported Switzerland Swiss Cheese (That I purchased at Kroger yesterday), French’s Spicy Brown Mustard, and Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Buns.

After I flipped the Burger I added a slice of Swiss Cheese on top.

As my Burger was cooking I got a small skillet and sprayed it with Pam Non-Stick Cooking Spray. Then heated the pan on medium heat. With the pan heated I added the Pastrami and heated it up. I flipped several times. I just wanted to warm it up being sure not to over cook it.

To put the Buffalo Burger together I used a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Bun. I served the Swiss and Buffalo Burger on the Bun. Topped it with Pastrami. I then took the Spicy Brown Mustard and added to the backside of the top Bun., and done! A delicious change of pace for my Wild Idea Burger. As usual the Burger came out a beautiful medium rare. The added Pastrami, Swiss, and Spicy Brown Mustard worked great! Gave it another depth of flavor to an already delicious Burger. I’ll have this again!

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Peach Diet Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries

For Breakfast this morning I fried up some thin cut Pork Chops, prepared some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, Scrambled an Egg, and had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I went to Meijer Garden Center, needed a few items. Then picked up a few things in the Grocery side. Back home did a load of laundry and cleaned the house. After Lunch I got the cart out and got a few things done around the house outside. Had to cut the vines again along the driveway. Tonight I’m having a Buffalo Burger Pattie Melt w/ Baked Crinkle Fries.

Today’s Menu: Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, Fried 2 Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, prepared a Sunnyside Up Egg, and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After some warmer temps it’s back down to 23 degrees this morning. Had a high of 35 degrees and cloudy out. After Breakfast I headed to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom and Dad. Then headed back out to the local Kroger and stopped by the bank before heading home. They finally broke ground for the new Kroger about 2 miles up the road. The Kroger around here is an older and small Kroger and the new one is going to be one of their Super Stores. It should be nice when they get it built.

Today’s Menu: Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin and topped it with Smucker’s Sugarless Blackberry Jam. Then I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Sunny and 50 degrees outside today. Didn’t do a whole lot today. Didn’t get much sleep last night, dealing with Phantom Pains all night and through most of the morning. So I did what I needed to do around the house after Breakfast and after Lunch I caught up on some sleep for the rest of the day. When Phantom Pains were as painful as these were it takes all the energy out of me. A lot of rest is what I needed, feel a lot better. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Bacon and Cheese Buffalo Burger w/ Baked Fries.

I can only go so long without having a Wild Idea Buffalo Burger! I just love these Buffalo Burgers! I made this one combining my two favorites, Wild idea Buffalo and Jennie – O Turkey!
