Tongs only…………
When smoking or grilling sausages, always use tongs or a spatula. Never a fork. Piercing allows the juices to bleed out.

Use the tongs………….
Always use tongs when turning meat on the grill. When a fork pierces the meat, it releases some of the juices, making it dry out more quickly.

Hand me those tongs………
You will want to have a couple of sets of tongs to use on your grill to turn your meat or ribs over with. You don’t want to use a fork as this will let some of the flavor escape.

Use the tongs……
Always use tongs, instead of a fork, for turning meat to prevent the loss of juices due to piercing.
