Today’s Menu: Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs w/ Baked Texas Toast

For Breakfast this morning I prepared a Jimmy Dean Simple Scramble Cup – Crumbled Turkey Sausage, Egg Whites, Shredded Cheddar Cheese. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I went to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Then we had to take Mom’s Car up to the Repair Shop, transmission trouble! Hope it does not have to replaced. Partly Cloudy and 77 degrees. Did laundry and cleaned the house. Later on took my car up and had it washed. For dinner tonight I prepared Spaghetti and Meatballs w/ Light Texas Toast.

Spaghetti and Meatballs tonight, we love Spaghetti and Meatballs! And you can always make it healthier by using Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs. For the Meatballs I’m using Meijer Turkey Meatballs. I bought a bag of these a few weeks ago for the first time. I’ve always used Honeysuckle White Turkey Meatballs but I can no longer find them at any of the stores. These Meatballs are 150 calories and 5 carbs per serving (6 Meatballs).

I’ll be cooking them in LaRosa’s Original Pasta Sauce, one of my favorites! The Sauce goes great on Pasta, Pizza, or as a Dipping sauce. I grabbed a small Sauce Pan, sprayed it Pam Cooking Spray, added the sauce to it, and heated on medium low heat. As the sauce started to heat up I added the Turkey Meatballs, stirred until covered with the Sauce. Cooked them for about 7 minutes and then reduced the heat to low until I was ready to use them.

I’m using Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Grain Spaghetti. It’s my favorite and I use all the Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Pastas. The Spaghetti is 180 calories and 35 net carbs, which isn’t bad for Pasta. To prepare the Spaghetti; I cooked the Spaghetti as to the package instructions. I used a large Sauce Pan and filled it 1/2 way up with water. Turned the burner on high and brought the water to a rapid boil. Added the Spaghetti and stirred, returning it to the rapid boil. Cooked it uncovered, stirring it occasionally. Cooked it for a total of 8 minutes and done! Love this Pasta so tender and tasty. As the Spaghetti was cooking I baked my New York Bakery Light Texas Toast.

To serve I used a bowl and made a bed with Spaghetti. added a little Morton’s Lite Salt and Kraft Reduced Fat Grated Parmesan Cheese. I then topped with Sauce and Meatballs. Wow these Turkey Meatballs are so good. I’ve found a new Turkey Meatball to use! For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Diet Mango Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs w/ Baked Texas Toast

For Breakfast this morning I prepared a Jimmy Dean Simple Scramble Cup – Crumbled Turkey Sausage, Egg Whites, Shredded Cheddar Cheese. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 58 degrees and partly cloudy out today. After Breakfast I went to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Cloudy with passing showers, high around 57 degrees. Not a lot to do today which is fine since it was one of those long nights again, had to deal with Phantom Pains! So a lot of rest today. Don’t know why these have been so often lately! For dinner tonight I prepared Spaghetti and Meatballs w/ Light Texas Toast.

Spaghetti and Meatballs tonight, we love Spaghetti and Meatballs! And you can make it healthier by using Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs. For the Meatballs I’m using my favorite, Honeysuckle White Turkey Meatballs. The Honeysuckle White Turkey Meatballs are some of the best I’ve found, fantastic taste and they’re 190 calories and 6 carbs for 3 large Meatballs. But this all the Meatballs I have left of them. And no one carries them any longer in this area. So I’ll have to find something new.

Anyway I’ll be cooking them in LaRosa’s Original Pasta Sauce, one of my favorites! The Sauce goes great on Pasta, Pizza, or as a Dipping sauce. I grabbed a small Sauce Pan, sprayed it Pam Cooking Spray, added the sauce to it, and heated on medium low heat. To serve I used a bowl and made a bed with Spaghetti. added a little Morton’s Lite Salt and Kraft Reduced Fat Grated Parmesan Cheese. I then topped with Sauce and Meatballs. Wow these Turkey Meatballs are so good, don’t understand why no one carries them any longer. For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.

Today’s Menu: Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs w/ Baked Texas Toast

For Breakfast this morning I made a Breakfast Sandwich I made a Breakfast Sandwich using; a toasted Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin and lightly fried a al fresco Country Style Chicken Sausage Breakfast Patty. I topped it with a 1/2 slice of Kraft Deli Deluxe Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Also had that morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. One chilly morning out there today at 13 degrees, but at least it’s not snowing. The sun came out for a short time and a high of 30 degrees. I had to measure a few of the windows for measurements for new window shades. I had a shade crack in my bedroom so I’m just going to replace a few of them. Also did a load of laundry. For dinner tonight I prepared Spaghetti and Meatballs w/ Light Texas Toast. Spaghetti and Meatballs really sounded good for Dinner tonight!

For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs, heated up 2 Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Outside for the couple of days, Rain. And lots of it. Lots of local flooding around our area. They say we’ll get 3-5 inches in the next day or so. I’ll be glad when this is over! Mom keeps getting better, so glad! I cleaned and straightened the pantry and then the freezers. For dinner tonight I prepared Spaghetti and Meatballs w/ Light Texas Toast. To start my morning off I toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin that I topped with Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Mostly sunny and 92 degrees out today, and humid. After Breakfast I went Meijer for a few items. I had to put my car in the shop. Had to replace 4 sensors, change the oil, and put on 4 new tires. Expensive but beats a monthly car payment. For dinner tonight I prepared Spaghetti and Meatballs w/ Light Texas Toast. Spaghetti and Meatballs really sounded good for Dinner tonight!

Wow, this is so good, I’m very glad Kroger started stocking the Honeysuckle White Meatballs again. I made extra Meatballs so I’ll be having a Meatball Sub tomorrow, now that’s some leftovers! For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn along with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs w/ Baked Multi Grain Bread

For Breakfast this Saturday morning I prepared some Glier’s Turkey Goetta, been too long since I’ve had Goetta. I also prepared some Simply Potato Shredded Hash Browns, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Not bad at all outside to be the middle of December, sunny and a high of 48 degrees! After Breakfast Later on I had to go the bank. Then stopped by a good friend of mine and dropped off some Christmas Fudge and Buckeyes my Mom had made. Back home not a lot to do so I laid back and got caught up on some shows I had recorded. For Dinner tonight its Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs w/ Baked Multi Grain Bread.

You just can’t go wrong with Spaghetti and Meatballs! And you can make it healthier by using Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs. For the Meatballs I’m using my favorite, Honeysuckle White Turkey Meatballs. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to find these. At one time Kroger and Walmart both carried them. Then neither store carried them any longer. But last week while at the local Kroger I came across them again! They said they just started to get them again a couple of days ago. I bought a couple of packages for the freezer. I’m using a few of the Meatballs tonight. The Honeysuckle White Turkey Meatballs are some of the best I’ve found, fantastic taste and they’re 190 calories and 6 carbs for 3 Meatballs.

As the Spaghetti was cooking I baked a loaf of La Brea Multi Grain Bread.

For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn along with a Coke Zero to drink.
