Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Baked Fries

I had a Jimmy Dean Simple Scramble – Turkey Sausage, Egg White, Cheddar Cheese. Really enjoy these they’re only 150 calories and 3 carbs per serving (1 cup). I just added a shake of Salt and a sprinkle of Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheese. A beautiful day out to be late November, 60 degrees and partly sunny. Rain moved in toward the evening. After Breakfast I went to the local Kroger for a few items and then stopped by McDonald’s to pick up Breakfast for Mom. Afterward Mom went to Church. I did a couple of loads of laundry and then some clean up outside. Got the leaf blower, rake, and my cart out and raked some leaves. Then watched some NFL Football for the rest of the afternoon. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Baked Fries.

I love this Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal that still delicious! To prepare them; Preheat the oven to 350° F. Arrange frozen chicken breast strips in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, to an internal temperature of 165° F as measured by use of a food thermometer placed in the thickest part of the Chicken Strip . And Chicken is served! It’s some of the best frozen Chicken you can find! Excellent seasoned breading and very meaty, and easy to prepare. Served it with a side of Hidden Valley Ranch Buffalo Dressing.

To go with my Chicken I baked some Alexia Organic Yukon Select Fries. Seasoned them with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. Baked them at 425 degrees for 16 minutes. They bake up beautifully and seasoned just right, excellent Fry! Plus they are only 120 calories and 15 net carbs. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Peach Diet Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Green Beans

For Breakfast to start off this chilly Monday morning I Poached an Egg and toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 31 degrees out there to start the day, had a good frost out there. Sunny and 54 degrees for the afternoon, not bad. Spent the afternoon still trying to figure out all the functions to Windows 10 and a new Computer. i really dread major changes, but not much choice in this one. Dinner tonight I prepared Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Cut Green Beans.

For one side I heated up the leftover Bob Evan’s Mashed Potatoes from last night. Just microwave for 1 1/2 minutes and serve, just as good as homemade, if not better. I could make a meal out of just Mashed Potatoes. I also some leftover Pioneer Peppered White Gravy to top the Mashed Potatoes with.

Then I also heated up a large can of Del Monte Cut Green Beans. Just empty the can into a sauce pan and heat until heated through. Then for Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Golden Hominy

Scrambled an Egg, fried up a couple of Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Whole Grain English Muffin (lightly buttered), and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. One cold morning out there, 18 degrees. Plus a cold wind blowing out there this morning. Gave Mom a hand doing a couple of loads of laundry. Later on cleaned the house, vacuum and dusted. For Dinner tonight its Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes, Golden Hominy, and Baked Texas Toast.

I love the Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal! I had not had these in a about a month or so. To go with the Chicken I prepared some Bob Evan’s Mashed Potatoes. Just microwave for 6 minutes and serve, just as good as homemade, if not better.

For another side I opened up a can of one of my favorite side dishes, Kroger Brand Golden Hominy. For those that has never had or heard of Hominy; Hominy is a food made from kernels of corn which are soaked in an alkali solution of either lime or lye. The corrosive nature of the solution removes the hull and germ of the corn and causes the grain itself to puff up to about twice its normal size. There is White and Golden Hominy, my favorite is the Golden Hominy. If you’ve never tried it do, makes a delicious side dish! I also baked a slice of New York Bakery Lite Texas Toast, One delicious meal tonight. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Baked Chicken Breast Strips w Mashed Potatoes and and Baby Carro 003
Wow I had a long and sleepless night last night. I had to deal with those Phantom Pains all night and most of today. When they are this bad I know I’m in for some pain. It looks as though with as many Amputees there are and most having to deal with Phantom Pins that they could come up with something to ease them or stop them. Just have to deal with it.

Wasn’t really hungry this morning so I just had a cup of Bigelow Green Decaf Green Tea. I didn’t do much of anything today the Phantom Pains continued to around mid afternoon. Tried to rest and catch up on some sleep. I had planned something new for dinner but it on hold until tomorrow, just didn’t feel like putting a lot of effort into cooking. So it was an easy prepared dinner tonight! I had Baked Chicken Breast Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Baby Carrots.

Today’s Menu: Chicken Breast Strips w/ Cut Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes

A very cold morning here in West Chester, 9 degrees with a wind chill of 0 degrees! We ended with about 5″ of snow yesterday. Today’s high is only going to hit 18 degrees, if we’re lucky. So I only ventured out for the morning papers and to take garbage out. Not much going on today. For dinner tonight its Breaded Chicken Breast Strips w/ Cut Green Beans and Mashed Potatoes.

Nothing easier and more delicious than Pilgrim’s Southern Style Breast Strips, it’s always a great go to when you want that easy to prepare meal! It’s the best Frozen Chicken that I’ve found by far. Very easy to prepare; Preheat oven to 350° F. Arrange frozen chicken breast fritters in a single layer on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, for 25-30 minutes, to an internal temperature of 165° F as measured by use of a food thermometer placed in the thickest part of the chicken breast fritter. And Chicken is served! As I said it’s some of the best frozen Chicken you can find! Excellent seasoned breading and very meaty, and easy to prepare. Served it with a side of JB’s Fat Boy Sticky Stuff BBQ Sauce.

Betty Crocker Creamy Butter Mashed Potatoes
For one side I heated up a can of Del Monte Cut Green Beans. Then I microwaved some Betty Crocker Creamy Butter Mashed potatoes. It comes in a microwavable cup, just add water and microwave. I also had a slice of Klosterman Wheat Bread that I buttered with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.
