These are made using JENNIE-O® Taco Seasonings Turkey Sausage, Picante Sauce, Fresh Cilantro, Soft Flour Tortillas, and crumbled Queso Fresco Cheese or Shredded Mexican Cheese. Santa Fe Turkey Tacos
These tacos are easy enough for any night of the week! Start with all-natural, pre-seasoned taco seasonings turkey sausage, mix in a few simple ingredients and voila, you’re done!
INGREDIENTS
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Taco Seasonings Turkey Sausage
¼ cup picante sauce
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
16 (6-inch) soft flour tortillas
2 cups crumbled queso fresco cheese or shredded Mexican cheese
DIRECTIONS
1) Cook taco seasoned sausage as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
2) Add picante sauce. Cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in cilantro. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until hot. Spoon mixture into tortillas. Sprinkle with cheese.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

This week’s Sunday’s Chicken Dinner Recipe is – SANTA FE CHICKEN. 2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves (about 1-3/4 pounds)
1 teaspoon minced garlic
4 green onions, minced (about 1/2 cup)
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell’s Healthy Request Condensed Healthy Request Tomato Soup
1/2 cup Pace Picante Sauce
1/2 cup water
1 can (about 15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
1 cup whole kernel corn
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
Directions
1 – Stir the chili powder and cumin in a small bowl. Season the chicken with the chili powder mixture.
2 – Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6 minutes or until browned on both sides. Add the garlic and onions and cook and stir for 1 minute.
3 – Stir in the soup, picante sauce and water and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the beans and corn. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through. Sprinkle with the cilantro.
NOTES:
This Santa Fe Chicken is a flavorful one-skillet dish and it’s a snap to make. Serving size is 1 piece of chicken and 3/4 cup sauce.

Ingredients

I’m passing along a second Jennie – O Turkey Recipe, Chunky Santa Fe Turkey Tacos. This one is made again using the JENNIE-O® Extra Lean Turkey Breast Cutlets along with toppings of Green Peppers, Chopped Jalapeño, Picante Sauce, Diced Tomato, Seasoning, Crumbled Queso Fresco Cheese, and served on a Soft Flour Tortillas. 2018 is going to be a good year so start it off right by eating healthy. Chunky Santa Fe Turkey Tacos
Spice up weeknight dinner with the savory flavors of Santa Fe Tex-Mex. This taco recipe takes just 30 minutes to make and features an irresistible combination of sautéed peppers and lean turkey.
INGREDIENTS
1 (17.6-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Extra Lean Turkey Breast Cutlets
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 diced yellow or green pepper
1 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons finely chopped jalapeño
¼ cup picante sauce
1 large tomato, diced
¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
16 soft flour tortillas
2 cups crumbled queso fresco cheese or shredded Mexican cheese
DIRECTIONS
1) Cut turkey into ½-inch thick strips; toss with chili powder.
2) Heat vegetable oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey, yellow pepper, cumin, garlic and jalapeño. Cook turkey according to package directions. Always cook to well-done, 165ºF as measured by a meat thermometer.
3) Add picante sauce. Cook, 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in tomato and cilantro. Cook 1 to 2 minutes or until hot. Spoon mixture into tortillas; sprinkle with cheese.
