Making an omelet…..

Whisking air into the eggs is one secret to a fluffy omelet. Also, if you cook the omelet in a pan that’s too large for the number of eggs used, it will naturally be flatter. On the other hand, you don’t want to overload a small pan. This only increases the time needed to cook the eggs and can lead to a rubbery omelet.

Making an Omelet………………..

Make sure the eggs you use are at room temperature before cooking. When you take the egg out of the refrigerator to whip yourself a good omelette, keep them aside for a while. Cold eggs take longer to set and this may result in overcooking. A Ham and Cheese Omelet sounds good!

Use that leftover chili all week! Chili doesn’t have to go into a bowl and eaten with a spoon. Make chili dogs, have a taco night, eat it for breakfast with eggs on top, or in a omelet. Toss it with pasta, or serve on top of baked potatoes. Enjoy that CHILI!
