Today’s Menu: Turkey Pepperoni and Turkey Sausage Pita Bread Pizza

For Breakfast I prepared a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 38 degrees and mostly cloudy out today. Then it was off to Kroger, Mom needed a couple of items. I was in and out of there by 6:45, trying to avoid the crowds. Did a load of laundry and then wiped down the microwave and all the counters and cabinets with Lysol Disinfectant Wipes. Did a few other light chores around the house. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Turkey Pepperoni and Turkey Sausage Pita Bread Pizzas.

I used Joseph’s Flax/Oat Bran and Stone Ground Whole Wheat Pita Bread for my Pizza Pie instead of regular Dough Pizza Pie. I love using Joseph’s Pita Breads, always fresh and they’re only 60 calories, 1.5 grams fat, and 5 net carbs! But I can only find them online so I have to order them now. A huge saving of calories and carbs over using normal Pizza Crust, without sacrificing taste. I preheated the oven on 400 degrees. To bake the Pita Pizzas I used a large Cookie Sheet. To prepare them I brushed them with a light coat of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the coating of Oil browns it up just right. I then baked it for 5 minutes, just to brown it up a bit. Removed them from the oven and made my Pizzas.

For my toppings I used Ragu Homestyle Pizza Sauce, Jennie – O Lean Turkey Ground Breakfast Sausage, Hormel Turkey Pepperoni, Sliced Black and Green Olives, sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms, 2 Anchovies Fillets, and Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.

It took less than 10 minutes in the oven until everything heated up and the Cheese melted. Pizza is served! Everything combined makes one delicious Pizza! And the good thing is you can load these Pita Bread Pizzas up with toppings and still not have a lot of calories and carbs, my type of Pizza! Bakes up ans tastes like a Thin-Crust Pizza. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Turkey and Black Bean Mini Street Tacos and Refried Beans

For Breakfast I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 42 degrees and mostly cloudy out today. Aftewr Breakfast I took my Car to the Auto Repair we go to for repair work. I need new Brake Pads and a new Battery. So much for having my credit cards paid off! After we dropped my car off We went to Meijer, Mom needed some new paperback books to read. She goes in and picks them out and then heads back to the car. I then went ahead and picked up a few items we needed and paid out. The less time Mom is in there the better. Not much else going on today. So for Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey and Black Bean Mini Street Tacos and Refried Beans.

It’s going to be Taco tonight! When making my Turkey Tacos I always use my favorite, Jennie -O Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast! Love all the Jennie -O Turkey Products, always fresh and low calorie and low carb. But Jennie –O Products are difficult to find in this area. Meijer is the only place that now carries it, and they have a good selection of it. So I started by frying the Ground Turkey till it was no longer pink in Extra Light Olive Oil and seasoning it with Sea Salt, Ground Roasted Cumin, Cilantro Flakes. As the Turkey was finishing cooking I added 1 can OF Bush’s Chili Beans – Black Beans, 1 package of Old El Paso Low Sodium Taco Seasoning and 2/3 cup Water, continued to cook and stir for an additional 6 minutes. Jennie -O, Bush’s Beans, and Mission Tacos together make one fine Taco!

For the rest of my toppings I used; Sargento Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Mexican, Sliced Black Olives, Sliced Green Olives, Ortega Smoky Chipotle Taco Sauce, Sliced Jalapenos, Shredded Lettuce, and Mission Street Taco Flour Tortillas. These Tortillas are so good and taste so fresh. Love these Taco Nights. I also heated up a can of Old El Paso Fat Free Refried Beans for a side for Mom. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with a Coke Zero to drink.

Today’s Menu: Turkey and Black Bean Mini Street Tacos and Refried Beans

For Breakfast I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 40 degrees and mostly cloudy out today. Another sleepless night while fighting Phantom Pains. They started about 11:00 last night and continued to around 1:00 this afternoon. So I spent the rest of the day sleeping. Wow, as I said before I wish they would come up with something to stop Phantom Pains! So for Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey and Black Bean Mini Street Tacos and Refried Beans.

It’s going to be Taco Sunday instead of Taco Tuesday! When making my Turkey Tacos I always use my favorite, Jennie -O Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast! Today’s Menu: Domino Pizza Night

No Breakfast today, off to the Doctor for my 4 month checkups. I had to there at 7:30 at my Family Doctor. They do all my blood work for sugar, cholesterol, and such. I usually have to wait for 4-5 days for the results but they called with the results later in the day. Everything looked great! Anyway after the Doc’s I went right up the road to Kroger with Mom. She needed some new Books to read. She picked them out real quick and then she went back to car. I picked up a few other things, cashed out and headed home. Back home gave my neighbor a hand unloading his car, they had went to the store also. Both of them have health problems so I lend a hand when I can. Raked the front yard after that. Mom wanted Pizza tonight! So the Kitchen is closed and Domino delivered us a Pizza!

So what Mom wants, Mom gets! So I ordered our favorite Pizza, Domino Pizza. I ordered Mom’s favorite, Domino’s Hand Tossed Pizza Large with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, and Black Olives, Green Olives. As always the Pizza arrived on time, hot and delicious! I had a Coke Zero to drink. For Dessert later some Honeycrisp Aplle slices. Take Care all and Stay Safe!

For Breakfast I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Only a high of 47 degrees today, big change! After my Tea I headed out to Meijer. First time in a long time that they had a lot of items that had been out of stock of back on the shelves! They even had Disinfectant Spray. Very good Beef, Chicken, Pork, and Seafood selections also. Back home did a few things around the house. For Dinner tonight I heated up the Leftover Turkey and Black Bean Mini Street Tacos and Refried Beans. I have left the original post from last night for the recipe and directions. Take Care Al!

We had these about a week ago but Mom loves them! So if this is what she wants, that’s what I’m fixing! When making my Turkey Tacos I always use my favorite, Jennie -O Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast! Love all the Jennie -O Turkey Products, always fresh and low calorie and low carb. For Breakfast I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 79 degrees with a couple of rain showers. Well in between the showers I raked the front yard again. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey and Black Bean Mini Street Tacos and Refried Beans.

Kitchen Closed, Domino Pizza!

Today’s Menu: Kitchen closed, Domino Pizza tonight

For Breakfast this morning I prepared Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns, heated up some Meijer Diced Ham, and made a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. I made a bed of the Hash Browns in a bowl and sprinkled some Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Next I put the Diced Ham over top the Hash Browns and served. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. We had very heavy rain yesterday and it washed out part of a small rise that ran along our driveway. It washed a lot of the soil and grass and we had one huge mud mess! A couple of local neighborhood guys I hired helped me clean up and get in soil and gravel. It was a big mess! Too tired to do a lot of cooking so I ordered a Pizza from Domino’s tonight. So for Dinner tonight Pizza.

I ordered Mom’s favorite, Domino’s Hand Tossed Pizza Large with Cheese, Sauce, Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Mushrooms, and Black Olives, Green Olives. First Pizza in a while, and it was over due! As always the Pizza arrived on time, hot and delicious! I had a Caffeine Free Diet Coke to drink. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Coke Zero to drink. The Kitchen reopens tomorrow! Take care all.

Today’s Menu: Domino Pizza Night

To start my morning off I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin and I fried up 3 slices of Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Ham. I added a slice of Swiss Cheese and I had my Breakfast Sandwich. I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. We had a high of 66 degrees, sunny, and a little breezy at times. Perfect Fall Day! After Breakfast I went to Walmart for a few items and stopped and picked up Breakfast for Mom at McDonald’s. Not much going so I got the cart out of the shed and I gave a hand to a couple of neighbors that were doing yard work. What I had planned for Dinner tonight was put on hold, Mom wanted Pizza! So the Kitchen is closed and Domino delivered us a Pizza!

So what Mom wants, Mom gets! So I ordered our favorite Pizza, Domino Pizza.
