Today’s Menu: 5 oz. Petite Buffalo Top Sirloin Steak w/ Baked Potato and Baked Texas Toast

For Breakfast I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Mostly sunny, 94 degrees and humid out today. Busy day today. We had the carpet cleaned in the Living Room and Master Bedroom. Then I had to go to Home Depot and buy paint for our deck. Then I took a friend of mine out to Ross, Ohio to the outdoor Produce Markets. I bought some 1/2 Runner Green Beans, a Cantaloupe for Mom, and some Sweet Corn. I also got Beans for 2 of my neighbors. A lot going on today! For Dinner I prepared a 5 oz. Petite Buffalo Top Sirloin Steak w/ Baked Potato and Baked Texas Lite Toast.

I prepared one of my favorite Steaks, a Petite Buffalo Top Sirloin Steak w/ Baked Potato, Salad, and Baked Texas Toast. I’ll be using the Wild Idea Buffalo Petite Top Sirloin Steak (5 oz.). To prepare the Steak; I rubbed the Steak with a 1 teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Then seasoned it with McCormick’s Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. As the Steak rested I preheated the oven on 400 degrees and heated up a small Cast Iron Skillet on medium heat. When the skillet was heated I added my Buffalo Sirloin, I cooked it 1 minute per side. Then moved the skillet to the oven and cooked it another 5 minutes to a beautiful Medium Rare! The Wild Idea Buffalo Steaks are just incredible. So tender and juicy and the best flavor of any Steak, Beef or Buffalo, I’ve ever had.

For one side I had a baked Russet Potato. Seasoned that with the McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, and topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. Perfect side for any Steak Dinner!

I also baked a slice of the New York Bakery Texas Toast. For Dessert later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs w/ Texas Toast

To start this Tuesday Morning off I had a Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 75 degrees with rain on and off all day. Good day to stay in, which I needed. I have had Phantom Pains for over 24 hours, they just will not let up! Not a thing I can do about it except to wait it out. So I tried resting most of the day. So for Dinner tonight I prepared Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs w/ Texas Toast.

It’s Spaghetti and Meatballs tonight, one of our favorites! And you can always make it healthier by using Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs. For the Meatballs I’m using Meijer Turkey Meatballs. These Meatballs are 150 calories and 5 carbs per serving (6 Meatballs). For the Spaghetti I’ll be using Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Grain Spaghetti.

I’ll be cooking the Meatballs in LaRosa’s Sauce, one of my favorites! The Sauce goes great on Pasta, Pizza, or as a Dipping sauce. I grabbed a small Sauce Pan, sprayed it Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray, added the sauce to it, and heated on medium low heat. As the sauce started to heat up I added the Turkey Meatballs, stirred until covered with the Sauce. Cooked them for 7 minutes and then reduced the heat to low until I was ready to use them.

As I said I’m using Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Grain Spaghetti. It’s my favorite and I use all the Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Pastas. The Spaghetti is 180 calories and 35 net carbs, which isn’t bad for Pasta. To prepare the Spaghetti; I cooked the Spaghetti as to the package instructions. I used a large Sauce Pan and filled it 1/2 way up with water. Turned the burner on high and brought the water to a rapid boil. Added the Spaghetti and stirred, returning it to the rapid boil. Cooked it uncovered, stirring it occasionally. Cooked it for a total of 8 minutes and done! Love this Pasta so tender and tasty. As the Spaghetti was cooking I baked the New York Bakery Texas Toast. For Dessert/Snack tonight I’m having a bowl of Breyer’s Carb Smart Vanilla Bean Ice Cream that I topped with Smucker’s Sugar Free Hot Fudge Topping.

Today’s Menu: 5 oz. Petite Buffalo Top Sirloin Steak w/ Baked Potato and Baked Texas Toast

For Breakfast I Had a Sunny Side Up Egg, 3 slices of Bacon, a couple of slices of toasted Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Bread and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Mostly sunny, 94 degrees and humid out today. And the Cicadas are terrible outside. So between the heat, humidity and Cicada it was a good day to in. Within a couple of minutes after walking outside you have Cicadas on you. Be glad when they are gone! Did a few things indoors and that was it. I prepared a 5 oz. Petite Buffalo Top Sirloin Steak w/ Baked Potato and Baked Texas Lite Toast.

I prepared one of my favorite Steak Dinners, Petite Buffalo Top Sirloin Steak w/ Baked Potato, Salad, and Baked Texas Toast. I’ll be using the Wild Idea Buffalo Petite Top Sirloin Steak (5 oz.). Today’s Menu: Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin, lightly fried slices of Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Ham, fried a Sunny Side Up Egg, and added a 1/2 slice of Boar’s Head Longhorn Colby. One Delicious Breakfast Sandwich! I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 79 degrees with rain and thunderstorms on and off throughout the day. At least the rains are keeping the Cicadas in also. Did a load of laundry for Mom. Not much else to do. For Dinner tonight it’s one of our favorites, Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast.

For Dinner tonight it’s one of our favorites, SayersBrook Ranch Bison Chopped Sirloin Steak. SayersBrook no longer produces the Chopped Bison Sirloin. So I thought that was the end of them until I came across 3 packages of 2 of at the bottom of the stand up freezer Saturday! That made our day, me and Mom both love these! I sat the package in the fridge overnight to thaw. So to start I preheated the oven on 400 degrees. To prepare it I’ll need McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, McCormick Crushed Rosemary, and McCormick Thyme Leaves (all seasoning to taste). I got the Cast Iron Skillet out to prepare it. I first sprayed it with a very light coat of Pam Cooking Spray and then added a tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil. Heated it on medium heat. When the pan was heated I added the Chopped Steak. I cooked each side 2 minutes. Then finish it in the oven, at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. It cooked up beautifully, perfect medium rare! Had a nice little char on the outside and moist and juicy inside. These are so tender you could slice them with a spoon and have an excellent taste to them. This might be all the SayersBrook Ranch Bison Chopped Sirloin Steak that we have left. They no longer make the Chopped Steak, very sad!

I topped the Chopped Steak with some A-1 Sauce Thick/Hardy. Also cooked up some Sauteed Mushrooms.

I also prepared a Baked Potato. Seasoned that with the McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, and topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also baked a slice of New York Bakery Texas Toast, One delicious meal tonight. The Chopped Steak, Potato, and Texas Toast just seem to work the best! For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels and a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Whole Wheat Spaghetti and Turkey Meatballs w/ Texas Toast

To start this Tuesday Morning off I had a Poached Egg that I served on a Thomas Light English Muffin. I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 67 degrees and mostly sunny outside today. After Breakfast I went to Wendy’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom and stopped by Dunkin Donuts and picked a couple of Glazed Donuts for her. Back home I got the Shop Vac out and vacuumed my car and then Mom’s. Both needed it. Then I got the Lysol Wipes out and wiped down the dashboards and indoor door panels down in both cars. Also cleaned the inside and outside windows. That was about it for my day.
