Today’s Menu: Penn Station Subs

To start this day off I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. A high of 45 degrees and sunny. Still very windy out which made it feel around 37 degrees. Did a load of laundry after my Tea. Cleaned the house after Lunch, dusting and vacuumed. Nothing sounded good for Dinner tonight and Mom was about the same way. We finally decided on Penn Station! So with the Kitchen shutdown it’s Penn Station Dagwood and Reuben tonight!

We really enjoy Penn Station Subs! I ordered a couple of Subs for us. Mom had the Reuben Footlong with Fresh Cut Fries and I had the Dagwood on Multi Grain Bun with Turkey, Salami, Ham, and American Cheese. We’ve made this a regular stop, these are so Delicious! The Fresh Cut Fries were good too! Great Job as always Penn Station! For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding topped with a dab of Cool Whip Light. Take Care and Stay Safe All!

Today’s Menu: Penn Station Subs

To start this day off I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. A high of 36 degrees and snow showers to start the day. The temps dropped through out the day to the 20’s with a wind chill in the teens. Good day to stay in and prep for Christmas Dinner. While Mom was doing that I cleaned the house, dusted and vacuumed. Later I made some Seafood Dip and BBQ Cocktail Sausages. Something for us to snack on the next few days. Later on I baked 14 mini loaves of 3 different kinds of Quick Bread. I then took them as gifts to many of my neighbors. I love doing stuff like this! So with everything going on I decided to shut down the Kitchen for Dinner, Penn Station tonight!

Christmas Dinner: Prime Rib w/ Mashed Potatoes & Brown Mushroom Gravy, Green Beans, and Rustic French Bread

First of all Merry Christmas Everyone! Second, What a Dinner!  Prime Rib w/ Mashed Potatoes & Brown Mushroom Gravy, Green Beans, and Rustic French Bread. I slow baked the Prime Rib at 250 degrees for three hours, until it was a beautiful medium rare. It came out a just melt in your mouth piece of Prime Rib. I made several sides so everyone had a choice. I made Mashed Potatoes & Brown Mushroom Gravy (Heinz Gravy), Scalloped Potatoes, Green Beans, Baked Glazed Carrots, Rustic French Bread or Healthy Life Whole Grain Bread. For dessert we had a choice of Pillsbury Nut Quick Bread or my Mom made a Apple Cake. No one left hungry!
Merry Christmas!
