This kid-friendly casserole will cure your family’s hunger! Enjoy sliced turkey franks and chili topped with Cheddar cheese and golden-brown biscuits. It’s a comforting meal that bakes quick for dinner if you’re short on time but long on appetites.

INGREDIENTS
8 JENNIE-O® Uncured Turkey Breast Franks, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 (15-ounce) can HORMEL® Turkey Chili
1 (7.5-ounce) can refrigerated biscuits, cut into quarters
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS
1) Heat oven to 400°F.
2) In large bowl, stir together hot dog pieces and chili. Transfer to a lightly greased 2-quart baking dish.
3) Top with biscuit pieces and sprinkle with cheese.
4) Bake 30 minutes or until biscuits are cooked through and golden.

Here’s a classic American recipe that’s as kid-friendly as it is easy to make. Made with lean ground turkey, garlic and bell peppers, it’s a hearty meal at under 500 calories per serving.

INGREDIENTS
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Ground Turkey
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 small onion, chopped
½ cup diced green or yellow bell pepper
3 cloves minced garlic
1 cup chili sauce
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon tomato paste
½ teaspoon hot pepper sauce
5 whole wheat buns, split

DIRECTIONS
1) Cook turkey as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
2) In skillet, over medium heat add oil, onion, bell pepper and garlic; cook 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add turkey, chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste and hot pepper sauce. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until sauce thickens. Spoon mixture on split buns.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

Pasta with Pumpkin and Turkey Sausage
A hearty, delicious skillet pasta recipe that’s tailor-made for fall. Toss sweet Italian turkey sausage with a savory mix of chicken broth, white wine and pumpkin. Ready in under 30 minutes.

INGREDIENTS
1 (19.5-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, chopped
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 bay leaf
1 cup dry white wine
1 cup chicken broth
1 (14½-ounce) can pumpkin
½ cup heavy cream
⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 pound penne rigate, cooked al dente, drained
grated Parmesan cheese and sage leaves, if desired

DIRECTIONS
1) Cook sausage as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Slice sausage into ¼-inch slices and set aside.
2) In skillet, add oil, garlic and onion; sauté 3 to 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Add bay leaf and wine. Cook until wine reduces by half; about 2 minutes. Add chicken broth and pumpkin; cook, stirring, until sauce bubbles. Add sausage and reduce heat and stir in cream. Season with cinnamon and nutmeg. Simmer 5 to 10 minutes to thicken sauce.
3) Place cooked penne rigate in large pot or saucepan. Remove bay leaf from sauce and pour sauce over pasta. Toss together over low heat 1 minute. Garnish with grated cheese and sage leaves, if desired.

It’s time to turn up the heat on your homemade mac and cheese! Our Turkey Chorizo Mac and Cheese combines everything you love about baked mac and cheese recipes with the savory addition of black beans, bell peppers, and chorizo. Your family will love this easy, spicy take on classic comfort food.

INGREDIENTS
1½ cups whole grain elbow macaroni
1 large egg
¾ cup milk
½ teaspoon granulated garlic
½ teaspoon onion powder
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Chorizo Seasoning Turkey Sausage
½ cup diced green bell pepper
½ cup diced red bell pepper
½ cup black beans, drained
½ cup corn
1½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1½ cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
2 tablespoons butter
1½ cups breadcrumbs

DIRECTIONS
1) Heat oven to 350°F.
2) Cook macaroni as specified on the package; set aside.
3) Whisk egg. Add and combine milk, garlic and onion powder; set aside.
4) In 9 x 13-inch baking pan, evenly add chorizo, peppers, beans, corn and cheeses. Stir in macaroni. Pour in milk sauce and stir.

4 medium red, yellow, or green peppers
1 cup brown rice, cooked

½ chopped cup onion
1 (15-ounce) can unsalted tomato sauce
½ cup whole kernel corn
½ cup canned black beans
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon garlic salt
hot pepper sauce, if desired
½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS
1) Heat oven to 350°F. Cut peppers in half lengthwise; remove seeds. In large saucepan, add enough water to cover peppers. Cover. Boil 3 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water. Place peppers, cut-side up, in 9×13-inch pan. Prepare brown rice according to package directions.
2) Cook turkey as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165ºF as measured by a meat thermometer. Stir in onion, tomato sauce, brown rice, corn, black beans, chili powder, and garlic salt. Season with hot pepper sauce, if desired.
3) Generously stuff each pepper half with turkey mixture. Cover with foil. Bake 25 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Andouille Turkey Sausage with Garlic Grilled Corn

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
½ tablespoon garlic salt
4 ears fresh yellow or white corn
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 (13-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Andouille Turkey Sausage
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS
1) In small bowl, combine butter and garlic salt. Heat grill to medium. Remove corn husks and silk from the ears. Wash corn and pat dry. Using a pastry brush, lightly coat each ear with olive oil. Grill corn, turning often, 15 to 20 minutes or until corn kernels are slightly charred. When the corn is done, brush each ear with garlic butter. Using serrated knife, remove corn kernels from cob and place kernels in medium bowl.
2) Place turkey sausage on grill. Cook 5 to 6 minutes turning once until heated through. Remove from grill and cut into coin size pieces. Add to grilled corn and toss to combine.

Turkey Burger and Gravy Sandwich
Topped with cabbage, carrots, celery and onions, this turkey burger recipe is piled HIGH with veggies. The baguette makes it great for dipping. Under 500 calories per serving and ready in under 30 minutes!

INGREDIENTS
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Seasoned Turkey Burger Patties
1 cup shredded Napa cabbage
½ cup shredded carrot
⅓ cup thinly sliced celery
¼ cup sliced red onion
¼ cup rice vinegar
2 tablespoons canola oil
salt and freshly ground pepper, if desired
4 small baguettes, split and toasted
½ cup turkey gravy, heated

DIRECTIONS
1) Cook turkey patties according to package directions. Always cook to well done, 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer.
2) In medium bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, celery, onion, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper, if desired.
3) Place turkey patties on each baguette. Top with cabbage mixture. Serve with gravy, if desired.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
