Turkey Club Sandwich

When it comes to sandwiches, the Turkey Club is the best there is. With crunchy cucumbers, toasted bread and crispy turkey bacon, this is a Club the whole family will want to join.

INGREDIENTS

8 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
4 tablespoons fat-free mayonnaise
1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
8 slices reduced-calorie whole grain bread, toasted
8 ounces thinly sliced JENNIE-O® DELI FAVORITES® Oven Roasted, or Reduced Sodium Turkey Breast
4 ounces thinly sliced reduced-fat Cheddar cheese
1 small red onion, thinly sliced
2 roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
4 lettuce leaves

DIRECTIONS

1) Cook turkey bacon as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Set aside. In small bowl, mix mayonnaise and horseradish. Spread mixture on toasted bread slices.
2) Top with turkey breast, cheese, onion, tomato, bacon and lettuce. Place remaining toasted bread on top
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

Piled High Supreme Turkey Breakfast Pizza
How high? We’ll leave that up to you. But suffice it to say, the sky’s the limit. Lean turkey sausage and bacon, fresh tomatoes and basil with garlic, onions and eggs.

INGREDIENTS
3 roma tomatoes, cored and quartered
8 medium fresh basil leaves
2 medium garlic cloves, peeled, trimmed and quartered
4 whole grain English muffins, split
4 JENNIE-O® Lean Turkey Sausage Breakfast Links, finely chopped
2 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon, chopped
2 cups frozen mixed bell peppers and onions
1⅓ cups liquid egg whites
3 ounces finely shredded reduced-fat mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS
1) Heat oven to 450°F. Line large baking sheet with non-stick foil. Pulse tomatoes, basil and garlic in a food processor; stop to scrape the sides, once or twice, as needed, until coarsely chopped.
2) Place muffin halves, cut side up, on prepared baking sheet. Bake 4 to 6 minutes until lightly toasted. Cook sausage as specified on the package. Add bacon, onion and pepper mixture and continue cooking 4 to 6 minutes.
3) Mist a small non-stick skillet with spray. Place over medium-high heat. Pour half of egg whites into pan. When set, use spatula to cut egg into quarters. Flip each quarter and continue cooking until set. Remove from pan and cover to keep warm. Repeat with second half of egg white.
4) Top each toasted muffin half with one egg piece. Divide tomato mixture spreading evenly over egg. Top with cheese and meat and pepper mixture. Bake 3 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.

California Dreamin’ Turkey Burger

INGREDIENTS
4 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Turkey Burger Patties
4 slices pepper Jack cheese
4 whole grain hamburger bun, split
4 tablespoons guacamole

DIRECTIONS
1 – Cook turkey bacon according to package directions and set aside. Cook turkey burgers according to package directions. Always cook until well done, 165°F as measured by meat thermometer. Place cheese on turkey burger during the last 5 minutes of heating to melt cheese.
2 – On bottom half of bun, spread guacamole. Place turkey burger with melted cheese on guacamole and top with turkey bacon. Add bun top.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

This savory, sweet brunch recipe doesn’t disappoint. Fresh strawberries, crunchy almonds and crumbled blue cheese come together with turkey bacon for a wrap that’s under 300 calories per serving.

INGREDIENTS
8 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
2 ounces crumbled blue cheese
1 cup sliced strawberries
¼ cup sliced almonds, toasted
4 (6-inch) flour tortillas
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon sugar
fruit and yogurt, if desired

DIRECTIONS
1) Cook bacon as specified on the package. Always cook patties to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
2) Layer bacon, cheese, strawberries and almonds down center of tortilla leaving 1-inch space at bottom of tortilla. Fold bottom of tortilla up; roll up to enclose filling.
3) Brush tortilla with butter; sprinkle with sugar. Place seam side down in skillet or sandwich maker. Cook 2 minutes per side or until golden and crisp. Serve with fruit and yogurt, if desired.

Turkey Bacon Skillet Breakfast
This is a Gluten Free Recipe

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. In this case, it’s also the most delicious. Lean turkey bacon, caraway seeds and sautéed veggies bring this gluten free skillet recipe to the next level of breakfast flavor.

INGREDIENTS
1½ pounds red potatoes, cubed
2 carrots, chopped
½ (12-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
2 tablespoons olive oil
1½ teaspoons caraway seeds
3 cups shredded green cabbage
1 cup shredded red cabbage
1 red onion, chopped
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS
1) Place potatoes and carrots in microwavable safe dish. Microwave, covered, on HIGH 3 minutes; stir. Microwave 2 minutes longer or until tender and set aside.
2) Cook turkey bacon as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Chop and set aside.
3) Heat oil in skillet. Add potato mixture and caraway seeds. Cook stirring occasionally 5 to 7 minutes or until tender. Stir in cabbage and onion. Cook 3 minutes or until cabbage is slightly wilted. Stir in turkey bacon pieces. Cook 3 to 4 additional minutes or until cabbage is tender. Sprinkle with fresh parsley.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

Rustic Turkey Stew
INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon salt, if desired
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 cups cooked, chopped JENNIE-O® Premium Basted Bone-In Young Turkey Breast
4 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon, cooked according to package directions and chopped
2 teaspoons minced garlic
2 (14-ounce) cans chicken broth
⅓ cup red wine, if desired
2 teaspoons dried thyme leaves
1¼ pounds small red potatoes, halved
2 cups baby carrots
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup small boiling onions, peeled
2 cups cremini or button mushrooms, halved

DIRECTIONS

1) Mist Dutch oven with cooking spray. In plastic bag, combine flour, salt and pepper. Add turkey, shaking to coat. Add turkey mixture to Dutch oven; cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer to bowl with bacon. Add garlic to Dutch oven; cook 1 minute.
2) Add broth, wine, and thyme leaves; bring to a boil. Stir in potatoes, carrots, celery, and onions; return to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until vegetables are almost tender. Add mushrooms, turkey mixture, and bacon. Simmer 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.

Stuffed Turkey Mushrooms
Kansas City might be known for its barbeque, but it turns out they know mushrooms too. These loaded appetizers will make a half rack jealous. They’re bite size but they pack a savory punch.

INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons ground paprika
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 tablespoon garlic salt
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
3 pounds JENNIE-O® All Natural* Turkey Breast
4 green onions, chopped
1½ cups prepared mustard barbeque sauce
4 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
32 large fresh mushrooms, cleaned and stems trimmed
¼ cup olive oil
½ cup Colby cheese, shredded

DIRECTIONS
1) In small bowl, combine rub ingredients: brown sugar, paprika, sugar, garlic salt, black pepper and cayenne pepper. With mixture, rub entire surface of turkey. Preheat oven to 350°F. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
2) While turkey is cooking, to make mustard sauce add onions and barbeque sauce into a sauté pan and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Let cool.
3) Cook turkey bacon as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Cut into small pieces

4) Heat broiler. Line broiler pan with aluminum foil. Place rack in broiler pan.
5) Brush mushroom caps lightly on all sides with olive oil; place turkey, turkey bacon and cheese into each mushroom cap. Place stuffed mushrooms on rack in broiler pan. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat source 5 to 6 minutes or until hot. Drizzle with mustard sauce.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.
