Panino Italiano
Hot, melt-y and chock full of savory Italian flavor, this sandwich recipe is the answer to your easy weeknight dinner cravings. Sautéed onion, fresh basil and lean turkey breast. Ready in under 30 minutes!

INGREDIENTS
1 ½ tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 cup sliced onion
4 cloves garlic, minced
8 slices crusty bread
2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
4 slices salami
8 slices JENNIE-O® sliced All Natural* Oven Browned Turkey Breast, from the service deli
1 cup basil leaves
4 slices fresh mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS
1) In medium skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic. Cook 10 minutes or until softened and golden, stirring occasionally.
2) Brush each bread slice with remaining oil. Sprinkle with pepper. Turn slices over. Top 4 slices with salami, turkey, basil, cheese and onion mixture. Top with remaining bread slices, peppered side up.
3) Place sandwiches in heated Panini press or sandwich maker. Cook 5 minutes or until golden and cheese is melted. Cut in half to serve.

Monte Cristo Turkey Breakfast Sandwich
The Monte Christo is the undisputed king of sweet/savory breakfast sandwiches. This take on the classic French recipe makes for a delightful morning with a sweet cranberry cream cheese spread.

INGREDIENTS
CRANBERRY SPREAD
⅓ cup jellied cranberry sauce
3 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon cream cheese
BATTER
½ cup skim milk
½ cup liquid eggs
¼ cup water
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
SANDWICHES
8 slices crusty bread
1 cup liquid eggs, scrambled
8 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon, cooked according to package directions
8 slices JENNIE-O® sliced All Natural Oven Browned Turkey Breast, from the service deli
powdered sugar, if desired

DIRECTIONS
1) To make cranberry spread, in small bowl, combine cranberry sauce, orange juice and cream cheese; set aside.
2) To make batter, in medium bowl, whisk together milk, ½ cup liquid eggs, water and vanilla.
3) In medium bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, sugar and baking powder. Make well in center. Add milk mixture; mix to smooth batter.
4) To make sandwiches, heat flat griddle. Dip each bread slice in batter. Cook on griddle 2 to 3 minutes per side or until golden.
5) Spread half the bread slices with cranberry mixture. Top with scrambled eggs, bacon and turkey. Top with remaining battered bread slices. Cook in heated Panini press or two-sided grill for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden. Cut sandwich in half. Secure with toothpicks. Arrange on plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F

Turkey and Brie Baguette
This sandwich recipe has it all — fresh arugula, thinly sliced green apples, crunchy pecans, lean turkey breast, Brie cheese and a savory cranberry chutney. Sandwich nirvana, ready in under 30 minutes!

INGREDIENTS

CRANBERRY CHUTNEY
2 teaspoons finely grated ginger
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2½ cups cranberries, fresh or frozen
½ cup sugar
⅔ cup orange juice
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
BAGUETTE
4 baguettes, split
4 ounces Brie, sliced
2 apples, sliced
8 ounces JENNIE-O® sliced All Natural Oven Browned Turkey Breast, from the service deli
1 cup arugula
½ cup pecan pieces, toasted
DIRECTIONS

1) For cranberry chutney, in medium saucepan, combine ginger, garlic, cinnamon, cranberries, sugar, orange juice and vinegar. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally; cool.
2) To assemble baguette, spread half of chutney in baguettes. In baguette layer Brie, apples, turkey and arugula. Top with remaining chutney and sprinkle with pecans. Cut in half to serve.
