Turkey Burger with Chipotle Cranberry Relish

Feed your adventurous side something tasty: Savory turkey burgers cooked to perfection and topped with a spicy citrus cranberry sauce and under 300 calories per serving!

INGREDIENTS

1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Turkey Burger Patties
⅔ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
1 tablespoon finely chopped chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
2 tablespoons orange juice
4 ciabatta rolls, split and toasted
1 cup baby arugula leaves
DIRECTIONS

1) Cook turkey as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F. as measured by a meat thermometer.
2) In small bowl, combine cranberry sauce, chipotle pepper and orange juice.
3) Place turkey patties on bottom halves of each roll. Top with cranberry mixture and arugula. Cover with roll tops.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

California Dreamin’ Turkey Burger

4 slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Turkey Burger Patties
4 slices pepper Jack cheese
4 whole grain hamburger bun, split
4 tablespoons guacamole
DIRECTIONS

1 – Cook turkey bacon according to package direstions and set aside. Cook turkey burgers according to package directions. Always cook until well done, 165°F as measured by meat thermometer. Place cheese on turkey burger during the last 5 minutes of heating to melt cheese.
2 – On bottom half of bun, spread guacamole. Place turkey burger with melted cheese on guacamole and top with turkey bacon. Add bun top.

* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

Mouth-Watering Turkey Patty Melts

The name says it all! Caramelized onions, melted cheese and lean turkey patties served on rye. At under 500 calories per serving, this is a lean burger favorite that the whole family will love.

INGREDIENTSMouth-Watering Turkey Patty Melts

1½ tablespoons butter, divided
1 cup chopped onion
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Lean Turkey Burger Patties
8 slices American or Cheddar cheese
8 slices rye or pumpernickel bread

DIRECTIONS

1 – In skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat. Add onion and cook 5 to 10 minutes or until tender and golden brown, stirring occasionally.
2 – Cook turkey patties as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165ºF as measured by a meat thermometer.
3 – Place 1 cheese slice over each slice of bread. Add patties and top with onions. Close sandwiches with remaining bread, cheese side down. In skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter. Cook sandwiches 3 minutes per side or until browned and cheese is melted.

⅓ cup thinly chopped mushrooms
2 tablespoons chopped green onion
⅔ cup shredded Cheddar cheese

4 lettuce leaves
4 reduced-calorie hamburger buns, split

 
Directions
Sauté turkey bacon, mushrooms and onions; cool. Mix with cheese and mayonnaise.

Today’s Menu: Turkey Bacon and Muenster Cheese Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries

 

 

 

A beautiful Autumn Day outside today! Sunny and a high of about 61 degrees. Started off with a couple of Jennie – O Turkey Sausage Links, a Golden All Natural Potato Cake, a slice of Toast, and hot cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. A very good Turkey Bacon Muenster Cheese Turkey Burger 002start to the day! Did some laundry and got the cart out and spent most of the afternoon riding around and enjoying the day. For dinner tonight it’s a Turkey Bacon and Muenster Cheese Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.

 

 
I’m using the Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties. Their already pre-made Patties and come fresh or frozen so all I did was season it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper and fry! I fried them in Canola Oil about 8 minutes per side. I served the Burgers on Healthy life Whole Grain Bun and topped the Burger with Jennie – O Turkey Bacon and Kroger Private Selection Muenster Cheese. Love these Burgers!

 

 

 

Then for a side I baked up some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Free.

It’s been a very humid and hot day out today! For Breakfast I prepared a Fried Turkey Spam, Cheddar, and Scrambled Egg English Muffin. Love that Turkey Spam! Spent the Morning at the Hospital with Dad, who is doing and looking a lot better today! In fact they are moving him from the hospital to a rehab center. He’s an amazing 92-year-old man. For dinner I prepared a Grilled Cheddar, Mushroom, and Sweet and Hot Mustard Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.

 

 
I’m using the Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties. Their already pre-made Patties so all I did was season them with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper and fry! I was going to grill them but it is just too humid out there for me so I pan fried them. I fried them in Canola Oil about 8 1/2 minutes per side. I served the Burgers on Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Buns and topped the Pattie with some Sweet Hot Stone Ground Mustard, some sautéed sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms, and a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese. I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries for a side dish. For dessert later Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.

Big Changes in our weather today, and it’s all good! No Humidity, sunny and a high of 72 degrees! Perfect day out today. We had the Kitchen and Laundry Rooms flooring replaced today, they showed up! We went with a darker color because of the Hoveround I have. We have to mop the floors a lot because of the rubber residue that builds up from the tires of the Hoveround. Fired the grill up for dinner tonight. I prepared a Grilled Cheddar, Mushroom, and Sweet Mustard Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries

 
I’m using the Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties. Fired the grill up and let it heat up and got the Patties ready. Their already pre-made Patties so all I did was season them with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper. While I had the grill heated I also grilled Mom and Dad a couple of Jennie – O Turkey Franks. I served the Burgers on Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Buns and topped the Pattie with some Sweet Hot Stone Ground Mustard, some sautéed sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms, and a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese. I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries for a side dish. For dessert later Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Mousse.

Another morning of a lot rain, and a bit cooler too. Not much to do today. Ran a full scan for the computer and deleted some old pictures and files, and that was about it. For dinner tonight I prepared a Grilled Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.

 

 

 
I’m using the Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties. Fired the grill up and let it heat up and got the Patties ready. Their already pre-made Patties so all I did was season them with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper. While I had the grill heated I also grilled Mom and Dad a couple of Brats and some Jennie – O Turkey Franks. I served the Burgers on Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Buns and topped the Pattie with the Sauteed Mushrooms (seasoned with Sea Salt, Rosemary, Parsley, and Roasted Cummin) and a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar Cheese. I also baked some Ore Ida Simply Cracked Black Pepper and Sea Salt Country Style Fries for a side dish. For dessert later a Black Cherry Jello.

Another blast from the Winter that wouldn’t go away! It was 37 degrees with a wind chill of 26 degrees, make it stop! Anyway went to Walmart early this morning to pick up a grill tarp and a small grill pan. While there, they were just stocking some Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties, the fresh ones not frozen. I had planned on making a new recipe but couldn’t resist the great looking burgers. Dinner tonight Grilled Turkey Burger w/ Baked Potato

As I said I’m using the Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties. Earlier I had found my Mini Cast iron Skillet, which somehow was out in our Shed outside. I cleaned it up and seasoned it, I’m going to use it to Saute my Mushrooms out on the grill. Sliced the Mushrooms and rounded up the seasoning; Sea Salt, Rosemary, Parsley. Fired the grill up and let it heat and got the Patties ready. Their already pre-made Patties so all I did was season them with Sea salt and Ground Black Pepper. I used the upper tier to set the Mini Cast Iron Skillet on, for the Sauteed Mushrooms, and the Turkey Burgers on the lower. While I had the grill heated I also grilled Mom and Dad a couple of Brats and I grilled some Jennie – O Turkey Franks for my lunch tomorrow. I served the Burgers on Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hamburger Buns and topped the Pattie with the Sauteed Mushrooms. So glad I finally got a new grill!

 

 

 
For a side I had a Baked Potato that I had seasoned with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn and I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. For dessert later a bowl of Del Monte No Sugar Added Mango Chunks.

Oh I hope winter is over, because today has really spoiled everyone around here today. Sunny and in the low 50’s! And they say the 60’s are on the way. We deserve this it’s been one long, cold, and snowy winter. Was able to get outside a couple of times today to enjoy this weather. For dinner tonight I prepared a Sharp Cheddar Turkey Burger w/ 3 Bean Salad and Baked Fries.

 

 

 

 

I used the Jennie – O Turkey Burger Patties (Lean). Only 180 calories and 9 g fat and already made into fresh patties. Pan fried Turkey Burger 3 Bean Salad Fries 006them in a 1/2 Tbs of Canola Oil and seasoned it with Sea Salt and Ground Black Pepper. I served it on an Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Bun and topped with sautéed sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms and a slice of Sargento Ultra Thin Sharp Cheddar.
