Mushroom Turkey Burger Blends
Upgrade your turkey burger toppings with bold garlic, peppery arugula, and mushrooms sautéed to perfection. Try pairing with sweet potato fries or a spinach salad.
Total Time – Under 30 minutes
Serving Size – 4 Servings

Ingredients
1 – (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Turkey Burger Blends

1 – (8-ounce) package fresh mushrooms

4 – hamburger buns, split and toasted

½ – cup aioli garlic sauce

1 – cup fresh arugula leaves

 

Directions
1) Cook burgers as specified on the package. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.

2) In skillet, saute mushrooms. Top cooked burgers with mushrooms. Serve on toasted burger buns with aioli garlic sauce and arugula.

Guacamole Turkey Burger with Sour Cream Aioli
Turn that patty into a party with a guacamole infusion plus sour cream aioli! Award-winning Certified Master Chef Ron DeSantis, writer and principal advisor of the consulting firm CulinaryNXT, delivers the unexpected with this turkey burger twist.

INGREDIENTS
1 onion, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons white vinegar
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast
1 (8-ounce) package WHOLLY® guacamole classic or spicy
2 tomatoes, cut into thick slices
salt and pepper, if desired
1 head Iceberg lettuce, cut into ¼-inch thick slices
6 hamburger buns, split and toasted
sour cream aioli (recipe follows)

DIRECTIONS
1 – In large skillet over medium-high heat, cook onion in olive oil 5 minutes or until tender. Add vinegar and cook 1 to 2 minutes or until liquid has evaporated. Place in bowl; cover and chill.
2 – Prepare grill for high direct heat cooking. In bowl, combine ground turkey, chilled onions and guacamole; mix well. Divide mixture into 6 portions and shape into patties. Place on baking sheet and freeze 20 minutes.
3 – Spray skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat. Add turkey burgers to hot skillet. Flip every 2-3 minutes for even cooking. Always cook to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Season tomato slices with salt and pepper, if desired.
4 – Place lettuce on bun bottom. Top with burger, aioli, tomato and bun top.
5 – Sour cream aioli: In small bowl, combine ½ cup mayonnaise, ¼ cup sour cream and 1 clove minced garlic
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F.

This one is made using JENNIE-O Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast, Cheese Curds, Salt, Pepper, 1 Can of Beer, Hamburger Buns, Lettuce, Tomato, and Red Onion. Mukilteo Turkey Slammer
Love burgers? Love cheese curds? How about beer? These turkey patties combine the above ingredients to become the answer to your burger prayers. Under 300 calories per serving!
Ingredients
1 (16-ounce) package JENNIE-O® Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast
¾ cup cheese curds, chopped
salt and freshly ground pepper, if desired
1 (12-ounce) can beer
4 hamburger buns, split, buttered and toasted
4 lettuce leaves
4 slices tomato
4 slices red onion

Directions
1 – In mixing bowl, combine turkey, cheese curds, salt and pepper, if desired. Shape into 4 patties, approximately ½-inch thick.

2 – Preheat non-stick skillet over medium high. Place patties in skillet and cook 6 minutes per side. Add beer to skillet, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 minutes to infuse beer flavor. Always cook turkey to well-done, 165°F as measured by a meat thermometer.

3 – Place patty on bottom half of bun. Top with lettuce, tomato, onion and bun top.
* Always cook to an internal temperature of 165°F
