Today’s Menu: Grilled Ham and Swiss w/ Baked Golden Fries
To start my day off I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 87 degrees, humid, and mostly sunny out. We had thunderstorms moving in later. We had to have Mom’s car over to Safe Light at 10:00 to have the window replaced. It took a while to get some parts in for it. They did a great job there. Back home watered my garden and Mom’s flowers. So for Dinner tonight I prepared a Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Ham, Dietz and Watson Swiss Cheese, French’s Yellow Mustard, Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil, and Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Wheat Bread.
To prepare the Sandwich I’ll need; Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Ham, Dietz and Watson Swiss Cheese, French’s Yellow Mustard, Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil, and Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Wheat Bread.
To grill it I used a small Cast Iron Skillet with a very light coat of Pam Cooking Spray and spread about 1/2 tablespoon of Blue Bonnet Light Butter in it. Heat it on medium heat. I also turned the oven on at 425 degrees, for the Fries.
While the Cast Iron was heating I got the Sandwich ready to grill. Took a slice of the Bread and topped it with some of the Kraft Mayo, the Boar’s Head Ham, the Sargento Swiss, French’s Mustard, and added the top slice of the Bread. I then Buttered the bottom and top halves of the Bread with Blue Bonnet Butter. With the griddle heated I grilled my Sandwich. Grilled the bottom half for just over 3 minutes, then flipped it over and grilled the other side for about 3 minutes. Until both sides were golden brown! I love these Grilled Sandwiches!
I also prepared some Ore Ida Golden Fries with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For Dessert/Snack later Had a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels along with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.
Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Boneless Smoked Ham
With natural juices.
Enjoy the exceptional flavor of a traditional bone-in ham without the bone. Available in the Deli retail case as a center of the plate item or at the Service Deli sliced by the pound for a sandwich of note.

Aloha Turkey Sandwich with Reduced Fat Chips

Today’s Menu: Aloha Turkey Sandwich with Reduced Fat Chips
I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea to start off this sunny morning. After my Tea I headed out to Kroger again. I had to pick up items not sold at Meijer, like Boar’s Head Products. Back home I was busy all day. A friend of mine came over and we worked on my Hoveround Chair. I had to put 4 new tires on it. Also had to tighten and oil a few things on it. Then caught up on some yard and garden work which caused me very little time left. For Dinner tonight I prepared an Aloha Turkey Sandwich with Reduced Fat Chips.
I loaded up on some Boar’s Head Meat when I was at Kroger this morning. When it starts to get hot and humid, as it was today, a Boar’s Head Sandwich is a perfect meal! I tried something new from Boars Head, Bold Aloha Sunshine Pineapple Roasted Turkey Breast. I also purchased Boar’s Head – Pastrami, London Broil Roast Beef and Sweet Sliced Ham.
To make my Sandwich I’ll need the Turkey Breast, Boar’s Head Swiss Cheese, French’s Mustard, Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil and Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Wheat Bread.
To make my Sandwich I toasted the Bread, Aunt Millie’s toasts up perfectly! Next I added the Mayo to the bottom slice, then the Turkey, the Mustard and topped it with other slice of Toast. Excellent Sandwich! The BOAR’S HEAD – Bold Aloha Sunshine Pineapple Roasted Turkey Breast has good flavor, a nice hint of Pineapple makes it perfect. I’ll be buying more of this. To go with my Sandwich I had some Mike Sell’s Reduced Fat Groovy Potato Chips. Later for Dessert a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.
BOAR’S HEAD – Bold Aloha Sunshine Pineapple Roasted Turkey Breast
Inspired by the fusion of unique flavors found in Hawaii, Boar’s Head Bold® Aloha Sunshine® Pineapple Roasted Turkey Breast is a gastronomic delight. Expertly coated with pineapple and hibiscus, and lightly charred for a sweet and savory traditional luau flavor. Each bite will transport you to Hawaiian culinary paradise.

Today’s Menu: Grilled Ham and Swiss w/ Baked Golden Fries
To start my day off I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin that I topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. This Ohio Weather has got my Sinuses messed up! We went from the 70’s a few days ago to 36 degrees with rain, sleet and snow today! I woke up with a headache and it stuck around all day, sinuses. I did a load of laundry for Mom. And then I was off to bed for most of the afternoon. As I said last week Mom is done with the treatments and her face is responding very good. About 75% of her face has cleared up! I take her for a check-up in April. So for Dinner tonight I prepared a Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Ham, Dietz and Watson Swiss Cheese, French’s Yellow Mustard, Kraft Reduced Fat Mayo w/ Olive Oil, and Aunt Millie’s Live Carb Smart Wheat Bread.

Today’s Menu: Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys
For Breakfast I toasted a Thomas Lite English Muffin, topped it with a Poached Egg. Also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 80 degrees, humid, and rain on and off. Well my allergies got the best of me, sneezing and a headache most of the day. There’s a high pollen count out there today! Plus they cut weeds behind us near the tree line. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.
We love our Cheese Coneys around here! Living here all my life here in Cincinnati you are raised on Cheese Coneys and Chili! I used Ball Park Smoked White Meat Turkey Franks, an excellent Turkey Frank! I boiled them, it took about 5 minutes and they were ready, plump, and delicious. Plus they are lower in calories and carbs than most other Hot Dogs, 45 calories and 5 carbs!
I heated a can of Skyline Chili with Beans for my topping. We prefer the Chili with Beans over the Chili with no Beans. It just gives the Coneys even more flavor with the added Beans! I served everything on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hot Dog Buns. Put the Frank in the Bun then topped it with French’s Yellow Mustard, the Chili, and Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese. Had a small side of some Skyline Oyster Crackers with a few drops of Frank’s Hot Sauce on them, which is a common way to have them here in the Cincinnati area. We love our Chili, Chili Dogs, Chili Spaghetti, and Hot Sauce here in the Cincinnati area. For Dessert later a Mini Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich.

For Breakfast I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Rain and more rain out again, a high of 64 degrees. We had just over an inch of rain yesterday and another 1 1/2 inch today. There’s a lot local flooding all through our area. There are having to evacuate businesses here in West Chester, bringing people out by boat. I’ve never seen it rain so hard for so long! It was raining so hard this morning for about 5 hours that you could hardly see the other side of the street. So more things are being opened up again here in Ohio. They are asking no matter where we go to always be wearing a mask. Also for seniors to remain indoors for a bit longer. We sure hope it gets back to normal very soon! For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

I made a bed of the Hash Browns in a bowl and sprinkled some Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Next I put the Diced Ham over top the Hash Browns. Then I topped it all with a Sunny Side Up Fried Egg. The Egg is the perfect topper, it brings it a rich creamy flavor to it! I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Well our day started off with the weather not too bad out but as the day went on it got worse. We had a high of 56 degrees and mostly cloudy. Then rain in and snow moving in by evening. We are supposed to get anywhere from 1 to 3 inches by morning! Ohio Weather fas officially kicked in! Record lows by in the morning and for the day tomorrow. Tis the Season! I went to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom and and I also stopped at Dunkin Donuts and got her a couple of Glazed Donuts. So not a lot going on outside, so I did a few things around the house. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.
We love our Cheese Coneys around here! Living here all my life here in the Cincinnati area you are raised on Cheese Coneys. I used Ball Park Smoked White Meat Turkey Franks, an excellent Turkey Frank! I boiled them, it took about 5 minutes and they were ready, plump, and delicious.
I heated the can of Skyline Chili with Beans for my topping. I normally just use the Chili with no Beans but I decided to have it with Beans for a change and really enjoy it! I may have to switch to the Chili with Beans, gave the Coneys even more flavor! For Dessert/Snack later I had a Diet Peach Snapple.
