I had a very restless night of sleep, very slow today. For Breakfast I had a toasted Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. After Breakfast I went to Meijer, I needed a few things and Mom needed a few items. Back home, did a load of laundry for Mom. In the news for a while now they have been talking about the decline in Be population. They need to come to West Chester! There are flowering trees up and down our streets and I have never seen so many Bees, thousands and thousands. Hopefully a good sign for Bees! I laid down for an afternoon nap, needed it! For dinner tonight it’s Crispy Chicken Strips w/ Mashed Potatoes and Vegetarian Baked Beans.

 

Perdue Crispy Chicken Strips
I used the PERDUE® Crispy Chicken Strips. To prepare it I preheated the oven to 425°F . Sprayed a small baking sheet with cooking spray. Placed frozen strips in single layer on baking sheet. Baked for 16 to 18 minutes, or until heated through. Internal temperature should reach 150°F – 160°F. Turn the Strips halfway through heating time. They come out golden brown and delicious! Really enjoy these!

 

 

 

Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w Vegetarian Baked Beans 012
For one side dish I prepared my favorite Mashed Potatoes, Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes. Easy to fix and delicious. To prepare it just heat it up in the microwave for 6 minutes and it’s ready. Then for another side I prepared some Bush’s Reduced Sodium Vegetarian Baked Beans. I had tried these a while back and fell in love with the flavor and taste of the Vegetarian Beans! Only 130 calories, 0 fat, and 24 net carbs per serving. To prepare the; just open the can and empty the Beans Into Saucepan. Heat To Simmer until heated through. Love these Beans! For dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Double Chocolate Pudding topped with Cool Whip Free.

PRODUCT HANDLING
COOKING & PREP
Conventional/Toaster Oven (Preferred Methods) Preheat Oven to 425°F. Spray baking sheet with cooking spray. Place frozen strips in single layer on baking sheet. Bake on middle oven rack for 16 to 18 minutes, or until heated through. Internal temperature should reach 150°F – 160°F. Turn patties halfway through heating time. Microwave Oven Place 4-6 frozen strips in single layer on a microwave safe plate lined with paper towel. Heat, uncovered, on high for 2 to 3 minutes, turning halfway through heating time. Let stand for 1 to 2 minutes before serving.

5 oz. Petite Buffalo Top Sirloin Steak w Tater Tots and Baked Be 010
Cloudy morning turned into a sunny afternoon and it warmed up to about 60 degrees! Made a Chili Omelet for Breakfast this morning. Using my Crock Pot 3 Bean Buffalo Chili and Egg Beater’s Egg Whites, also sprinkled some fresh shredded Smoked Goda on top of it. A very good start to the day! After Breakfast I started a load of laundry for Mom. Next it was Christmas Present delivery day. I dropped off gifts and candy to a few friends. Love the Spirit of Christmas! Back home did a few things around the house and finished up the laundry. For dinner tonight I prepared a 5 oz. Petite Buffalo Top Sirloin Steak w/ Tater Tots and Baked Beans. The trio of Steak, Potatoes, and Beans make one delicious meal!

 

I’ll be using Wild Idea Buffalo Petite Top Sirloin Steak (5 oz.). To prepare the Steak; I rubbed the Steak with a 1/2 5 oz. Petite Buffalo Top Sirloin Steak w Tater Tots and Baked Be 002teaspoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Then seasoned it with Dried Rosemary, McCormick’s Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. As the Steak rested I preheated a Cast Iron Skillet on medium heat. When the skillet was heated I added my Buffalo Sirloin, cooked it 4 minutes per side to a beautiful Medium Rare! The Wild Idea Buffalo Steaks are just incredible. So juicy and the best flavor of any Steak, Beef or Buffalo I’ve ever had. As always when cooking Buffalo, keep an eye on it will get done quickly. They cook faster than marbled meat and when overcooked will be tough and dry. Buffalo is best cooked medium-rare or rare.

I had picked a bag of Ore Ida Mini Tater Tots at Kroger a while back. Who doesn’t like Tater Tots, love these things! Just bake at 425 degrees for about 15 minutes and done! The tater Tots come out golden brown and delicious! I served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup.

Then for another side dish I prepared a small can of Bush’s Vegetarian Baked Beans. First time I prepared these I fell in love with the flavor and taste of the Vegetarian Beans! Only 130 calories, 0 fat, and 24 net carbs per serving. To prepare the; just open the can and empty the Beans Into Saucepan. Heat To Simmer until heated through. Love these Beans, becoming one of my favorite sides real quick. For dessert later a Skinny Cow Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream Bar.

Today’s Menu: Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Vegetarian Baked Beans

 
Went out to get the morning papers and it’s a bit cooler out there, in the low 40’s with a cold breeze blowing. For Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w Vegetarian Baked Beans 008Breakfast I baked some Jennie – O Turkey Bacon, baked at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes. Then I also had one egg sunnyside up, a slice of Aunt Millie’s Whole Grain Bread, and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Good start to the day! Had to get the leaf blower out a lot of leaves on the deck and driveway, our house seems to be the gathering point of all leaves! Came back in and ran the vacuum and dusted. Next, cleaned the fridge today. Everything done and it was to an afternoon of College Football! For dinner tonight it’s Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Vegetarian Baked Beans.

 

 

 

I used the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I cut one of the Sausage Links into to 2 pieces to give me a Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w Vegetarian Baked Beans 003couple of Sausage Dogs. I absolutely love the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. It’s got such a fantastic flavor and always cooks up just right. To prepare them I used a large skillet, added about a 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil and preheated it on medium heat. Put the Sausage in the skillet when it was heated up and covered with a lid. I turned the Sausage every few minutes to get an even char on them, cooked about 11 minutes total. As always they came out just bursting with flavor and flat-out delicious! I served it on an Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Bun and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard.

Love these Beans, becoming my favorite real quick. A simple but delicious dinner tonight! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.

A bit chilly here this morning, about 49 degrees with a cold wind blowing making it feel even lower. Went to Walmart for some items, even came across some Jennie – O Turkey Franks! Unusual they have any of the Jennie – O Products, usually I have to go to Meijer and even then they usually don’t have the Turkey Franks. Then I had to stop by Kroger for Mom and by McDonald’s for her Coffee and Breakfast. Didn’t make it over to see Dad today, he’s doing better though. Back home did some laundry for Mom and did some light cleaning for my day. For dinner tonight I prepared Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w/ Vegetarian Baked Beans.

 

I used the Butterball Hardwood Smoked Turkey Sausage. I cut one of the Sausage Links into to Smoked Turkey Sausage Dogs w Vegetarian Baked Beans 0032 pieces to give me a couple of Sausage Dogs.
