Today’s Menu: Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys

For Breakfast I toasted a Healthy Life English Muffin, Scrambled a couple of Eggs, heated up a couple of Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast sausage Links, and made my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. A lot of rain overnight and into the morning. I had a long night again with dealing with some very bad phantom Pains. Didn’t get a lot sleep so with the dreary day outside I caught up on some sleep. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

I love my Cheese Coneys! Living here all my life here in the Cincinnati area you are raised on Cheese Coneys, Chili Spaghetti, and such. From all the classic Chili Parlors; Skyline Chili, Gold Star Chili, Camp Washington Chili, just to name a few. But having Diabetes 2 I have to watch my carbs and calories so I make mine a little healthier but keeping the incredible flavors.

I used Ball Park Smoked White Meat Turkey Franks, an excellent Turkey Frank! I boiled them, it took about 5 minutes and they were ready, plump, and delicious. I heated the can of Skyline Chili for my topping. I served everything on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hot Dog Buns. Put the Frank in the Bun then topped it with French’s Yellow Mustard, the Chili, and Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese. Had a small side of some Skyline Oyster Crackers with a few drops of Frank’s Hot Sauce on them, which is a common way to have them here in the Cincinnati area. We love our Chili, Chili Dogs, Chili Spaghetti, and Hot Sauce here in the Cincinnati area. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn along with a Coke Zero to drink.

Today’s Menu: Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys

For Breakfast on this cold Winter-like day I toasted a Healthy Life English Muffin and topped it with Smucker’s Sugarless Blackberry Jam. Also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Windy and Snow on and off all day! It was 30 degrees but the windchill was around 17 degrees. So not a lot going on outside or inside for that matter. Did some cleaning around the house. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

Today’s Menu: Cheese and Turkey Chili Dogs

For Breakfast this morning I made a 2 Egg Cheese Omelet along with 2 Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Patties, toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Outside it’s a bit cooler, 47 degrees this morning and a high of 73 degrees. It looks like more of Fall like weather has moved in finally! Cleaned the brushes of our vacuum then cleaned the house, dusted and vacuum. Then outside got my handy leaf blower out and cleaned the deck and driveway off. After Lunch I repotted a couple of flowers for Mom, sure is nice out! Then got the cart out and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon. Went around the neighborhood and down to the lake. For Dinner tonight Cheese and Turkey Chili Dogs.

I had just enough of my 2 Bean Turkey Chili leftover to make some Cheese and Turkey Chili Dogs. To make them I’ll need; 3 Bean Turkey Chili, Ball Park Smoked Turkey Franks, Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns, French’s Yellow Mustard, and Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Them are some good fixings to make some Coneys with!

To prepare them; Heat the Chili in a medium saucepan until just heated through. Next I cooked the Hot Dogs. I used a medium size sauce pan, filled 3/4 full of water and heated to a boil. When water was boiling I added the Franks, boiled for 5 minutes. Removed the pan from the heat, drained the water, and prepared the Cheddar Chili Dogs. Spread each Bun with Mustard. Place a Hot Dog in each Bun and top with Beans. Sprinkle each with Cheese. These turned out fantastic, love the Chili and Cheddar toppings.

Served it with some Ruffles Reduced Fat Potato Chips and some Lay’s Ranch Dip. Also had a Caffeine Free Diet Coke. For Dessert later a Weight Watcher’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar.

Today’s Menu: Cheddar Chili Dogs

For Breakfast this morning I fried 2 Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties, prepared a Scrambled Egg, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Whole Bread, and my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Another sunny and beautiful day out there again! A bit warmer and more humid, but still nice out. After Breakfast I started a load of laundry and then headed out to Meijer and then by Kroger to pick up a few things for Mom. After Lunch headed up to the rehab center to see Dad. Back home finished up laundry and done for the day. Got the cart out for a spin around the neighborhood. For Dinner tonight its CHEDDAR CHILI DOGS.

I tried these for the first time around a month ago and really liked them so I’m having so I’m having them again. They’re a nice alternative to my Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys. To make the Dogs I’ll need; 1 can (16 oz) BUSH’S® Chili Beans – Red Beans in a Medium Chili Sauce (drained), 1 tsp chili powder, 4 Ball Park Smoked Turkey Franks, 4 Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns, French’s Yellow Mustard, 3 slices Simple Truth Hickory Smoked Bacon (crisped and coarsely chopped), and 1/4 cup Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese.

To prepare them; Heat the Beans in a medium saucepan until just heated through; stir in chili powder. Next I cooked Hot Dogs. Sprinkle each with Bacon, Onion (optional), Tomato (optional), and Cheese. These turned out fantastic, love the Beans and Cheddar toppings.

Served it with some Ruffles Reduced Fat Potato Chips and some Lay’s Ranch Dip. Also had a Caffeine Free Diet Coke. For Dessert later a Breyer’s 100 Calorie Vanilla Cup.

Today’s Menu: Cheddar Chili Dogs

Wow, It’s the last day of June already. This month flew by! For Breakfast this morning I fried 2 Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, prepared an Egg Sunnyside Up, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Whole Bread, and my every morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. The Summer like weather has kicked in! 86 degrees and HUMID. After Breakfast I headed to Meijer for a few items and had to stop by the bank. Back home I cleaned the Kitchen, swept, mopped, cleaned the fridge, and cleaned the stove. Then kicked back for a bit and watched some shows I had recorded. For Dinner tonight I prepared CHEDDAR CHILI DOGS.

I have Chili and Cheese Dogs quite often but this recipe is a bit of a twist of what I normally have. I found this recipe in a recipe email from Bush’s Beans, BUSH’S® CHEDDAR CHILI DOGS. I made some changes from the original recipe, I left the original recipe and web link at the end of the post. To make the Dogs I’ll need; 1 can (16 oz) BUSH’S® Chili Beans – Red Beans in a Medium Chili Sauce (drained), 1 tsp chili powder, 4 Ball Park Smoked Turkey Franks, 4 Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns, French’s Yellow Mustard, 3 slices Simple Truth Hickory Smoked Bacon (crisped and coarsely chopped), and 1/4 cup Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese.

To prepare them; Heat the Beans in a medium saucepan until just heated through; stir in chili powder. Next I cooked Hot Dogs. Sprinkle each with Bacon, Onion (optional), Tomato (optional), and Cheese. These turned out fantastic, love the Beans and Cheddar toppings. Nice switch from my normal Chili and Cheese Coney’s.

Served it with some Ruffles Reduced Fat Potato Chips and some Lay’s Ranch Dip. Also had a Caffeine Free Diet Coke. For Dessert later a Weight Watcher’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar.

For Breakfast this morning it was Gravy and Toast, I love Gravy! I prepared a package of the Pioneer Peppered White Gravy. I toasted up a couple of slices of Healthy Life Whole Grain Bread, crumbled the Toast up and topped it with Gravy. I really prefer Biscuits and Gravy but the Toast has a lot fewer calories and carbs. I also had the morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Cloudy, windy, and cold out there today. I had been with Direct TV for the last 9 years but I’ve had to switch due to rising prices. We are going with Cincinnati Bell Fioptics Cable. It took them about 5 hours to switch everything and install new lines. We heard nothing but great things about them so we are giving them a try! Dinner tonight Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

For Breakfast I had a Scrambled Egg topped with a sprinkle of Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar. I also toasted a couple of slices of Healthy Life Whole Grain Bread topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Today starts our run of hotter and more humid days. Plus if you have allergies it’s not a good day to out! Pollen and Mold counts are way up. I did a load of laundry for Mom and that was about it for my day. After Lunch went up to see Dad. He’s doing a lot better and walking a lot with the aid of a walker. Hopefully he’ll be home soon. For Dinner tonight one om favorites, Cheese Coneys! I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

Had a quick and light Breakfast about 6:00 this morning and had to go over to the hospital and get Dad checked in, they were going to give a blood transfusion this morning. His blood pressure kept dropping overnight. It seems some of the medications they had him on was causing it! It seems they cure one thing and create another problem. Beautiful day out there today, sunny with low humidity and a high around 82 degrees! Back home I caught up on some sleep, I had a very tough night dealing with Phantom Pains. Sure wish they would come up with a cure for this! It’s so painful at times. But not much to do about it but ride it out until it stops. So for dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

I used Ball Park Smoked White Meat Turkey Franks, excellent Turkey Frank! I boiled them, it took about 5 minutes and they were ready, plump, and delicious. I opened up a can of Skyline Original Chili and heated that up for my Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys w Baked Crinkle Frie 001Chili Topping. I served everything on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hot Dog Buns. Then topped it with the Chili, French’s Yellow Mustard, and Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese. Put it altogether and you have a prime example of the World Famous Cincinnati Style Cheese Coney! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.
