Today’s Menu: Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys

For Breakfast I toasted a Healthy Life Multi Grain English Muffin, topped with a Poached Egg, and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After I ate I went to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom and stopped and filled the car up with gas for her. Mom went on to Church afterward. I did a load of laundry and cleaned the house. Then watched NFL Football for the rest of the afternoon. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

We love our Cheese Coneys around here! Living here all my life here in the Cincinnati area you are raised on Cheese Coneys, Chili Spaghetti, and such. From all the classic Chili Parlors; Skyline Chili, Gold Star Chili, Camp Washington Chili, just to name a few. But having Diabetes 2, I have to watch my carbs and calories so I make mine a little healthier but keeping the incredible flavors.

I used Ball Park Smoked White Meat Turkey Franks, an excellent Turkey Frank! I boiled them, it took about 5 minutes and they were ready, plump, and delicious. I heated the can of Skyline Chili for my topping. I served everything on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Hot Dog Buns. Put the Frank in the Bun then topped it with French’s Yellow Mustard, the Chili, and Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese. Had a small side of some Skyline Oyster Crackers with a few drops of Frank’s Hot Sauce on them, which is a common way to have them here in the Cincinnati area. We love our Chili, Chili Dogs, Chili Spaghetti, and Hot Sauce here in the Cincinnati area. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn with a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

For Breakfast I toasted a Healthy Life Whole Grain English Muffin and topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also made my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. After Breakfast I went to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Mom went to Church and spent most of the day doing some laundry and cleaning the house. Dad had been out of the house for a while, living at the Center. But it was knowing we could hop in the car and go see him at anytime. Now with his passing it just seems so empty. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

Just wasn’t in the mood to cook I wanted something easy to prepare so Cheese Coneys sounded good and that’s what I prepared for us. I love my Cheese Coneys! Today’s Menu: Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys

For Breakfast I toasted a couple of slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, Scrambled a couple of Eggs, and made my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Cloudy and 75 degrees out today. After Breakfast we went up to spend time with Dad. I was up there about 2 hours but he was sleeping for most of the time. He wasn’t feeling up to par today. Back home I got the 4 wheel cart out of the shed and sprayed for weeds. A whole lot of weeds this year. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

For Breakfast I toasted a couple of slices of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, Scrambled a couple of Eggs, heated up a couple of Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast sausage Links, and made my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Mostly sunny and 49 degrees today. So the few inches of snow we got yesterday is quickly melting. Hospice came at 11:00 today and took Dad over to a rehab center here in West Chester for 5 days. Hospice suggested we do this so as to give us a bit of break. We are currently looking for a center for Dad too stay in. His Dementia and overall health has become so bad we can no longer keep him here. It breaks are heart but it’s for the best. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

For Breakfast I toasted a Healthy Life English Muffin, Scrambled a couple of Eggs, heated up a couple of Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast sausage Links, and made my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. A lot of rain overnight and into the morning. I had a long night again with dealing with some very bad phantom Pains. Didn’t get a lot sleep so with the dreary day outside I caught up on some sleep. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

Today’s Menu: Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys

For Breakfast on this cold Winter-like day I toasted a Healthy Life English Muffin and topped it with Smucker’s Sugarless Blackberry Jam. Also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Windy and Snow on and off all day! It was 30 degrees but the windchill was around 17 degrees. So not a lot going on outside or inside for that matter. Did some cleaning around the house. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

I love my Cheese Coneys! Living here all my life here in the Cincinnati area you are raised on Cheese Coneys, Chili Spaghetti, and such. Put it altogether and you have a prime example of the World Famous Cincinnati Style Cheese Coney! For dessert later a Weight Watcher’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar.

Today’s Menu: Cheese and Turkey Chili Dogs

For Breakfast this morning I made a 2 Egg Cheese Omelet along with 2 Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Patties, toasted a slice of Aunt Millie’s Light Whole Grain Bread, and a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Outside it’s a bit cooler, 47 degrees this morning and a high of 73 degrees. It looks like more of Fall like weather has moved in finally! Cleaned the brushes of our vacuum then cleaned the house, dusted and vacuum. Then outside got my handy leaf blower out and cleaned the deck and driveway off. After Lunch I repotted a couple of flowers for Mom, sure is nice out! Then got the cart out and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon. Went around the neighborhood and down to the lake. For Dinner tonight Cheese and Turkey Chili Dogs.

I had just enough of my 2 Bean Turkey Chili leftover to make some Cheese and Turkey Chili Dogs. To make them I’ll need; 3 Bean Turkey Chili, Ball Park Smoked Turkey Franks, Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns, French’s Yellow Mustard, and Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Them are some good fixings to make some Coneys with!

To prepare them; Heat the Chili in a medium saucepan until just heated through. Next I cooked the Hot Dogs. I used a medium size sauce pan, filled 3/4 full of water and heated to a boil. When water was boiling I added the Franks, boiled for 5 minutes. Removed the pan from the heat, drained the water, and prepared the Cheddar Chili Dogs. Spread each Bun with Mustard. Place a Hot Dog in each Bun and top with Beans. Sprinkle each with Cheese. These turned out fantastic, love the Chili and Cheddar toppings.

Served it with some Ruffles Reduced Fat Potato Chips and some Lay’s Ranch Dip. Also had a Caffeine Free Diet Coke. For Dessert later a Weight Watcher’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar.

Today’s Menu: Cheddar Chili Dogs

For Breakfast this morning I fried 2 Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties, prepared a Scrambled Egg, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Whole Bread, and my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Another sunny and beautiful day out there again! A bit warmer and more humid, but still nice out. After Breakfast I started a load of laundry and then headed out to Meijer and then by Kroger to pick up a few things for Mom. After Lunch headed up to the rehab center to see Dad. Back home finished up laundry and done for the day. Got the cart out for a spin around the neighborhood. For Dinner tonight its CHEDDAR CHILI DOGS.

I tried these for the first time around a month ago and really liked them so I’m having so I’m having them again. They’re a nice alternative to my Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys. To make the Dogs I’ll need; 1 can (16 oz) BUSH’S® Chili Beans – Red Beans in a Medium Chili Sauce (drained), 1 tsp chili powder, 4 Ball Park Smoked Turkey Franks, 4 Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns, French’s Yellow Mustard, 3 slices Simple Truth Hickory Smoked Bacon (crisped and coarsely chopped), and 1/4 cup Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese.

To prepare them; Heat the Beans in a medium saucepan until just heated through; stir in chili powder. Next I cooked Hot Dogs. Sprinkle each with Bacon, Onion (optional), Tomato (optional), and Cheese. These turned out fantastic, love the Beans and Cheddar toppings.

Served it with some Ruffles Reduced Fat Potato Chips and some Lay’s Ranch Dip. Also had a Caffeine Free Diet Coke. For Dessert later a Breyer’s 100 Calorie Vanilla Cup.

Today’s Menu: Cheddar Chili Dogs

Wow, It’s the last day of June already. This month flew by! For Breakfast this morning I fried 2 Jennie – O Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links, prepared an Egg Sunnyside Up, toasted 2 slices of Aunt Millie’s Whole Bread, and my every morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. The Summer like weather has kicked in! 86 degrees and HUMID. After Breakfast I headed to Meijer for a few items and had to stop by the bank. Back home I cleaned the Kitchen, swept, mopped, cleaned the fridge, and cleaned the stove. Then kicked back for a bit and watched some shows I had recorded. For Dinner tonight I prepared CHEDDAR CHILI DOGS.

I have Chili and Cheese Dogs quite often but this recipe is a bit of a twist of what I normally have. I found this recipe in a recipe email from Bush’s Beans, BUSH’S® CHEDDAR CHILI DOGS. I made some changes from the original recipe, I left the original recipe and web link at the end of the post. To make the Dogs I’ll need; 1 can (16 oz) BUSH’S® Chili Beans – Red Beans in a Medium Chili Sauce (drained), 1 tsp chili powder, 4 Ball Park Smoked Turkey Franks, 4 Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hot Dog Buns, French’s Yellow Mustard, 3 slices Simple Truth Hickory Smoked Bacon (crisped and coarsely chopped), and 1/4 cup Sargento Reduced Fat Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese.

To prepare them; Heat the Beans in a medium saucepan until just heated through; stir in chili powder. Next I cooked Hot Dogs. Sprinkle each with Bacon, Onion (optional), Tomato (optional), and Cheese. These turned out fantastic, love the Beans and Cheddar toppings. Nice switch from my normal Chili and Cheese Coney’s.

Served it with some Ruffles Reduced Fat Potato Chips and some Lay’s Ranch Dip. Also had a Caffeine Free Diet Coke. For Dessert later a Weight Watcher’s Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Bar.
