September 13-15, 2019 21st Annual Ohio Pawpaw Festival Albany, Ohio

A fun-filled and educational event celebrating one of America’s largest native tree fruits, the Pawpaw. Delectable foods, quality entertainment, and unique arts & crafts. Special events include competitions for the best pawpaw, best pawpaw-related work of art, pawpaw cook-off, and the ever-popular pawpaw-eating contest. Presentations will cover pawpaw growing, cooking, and other related topics.

Every spring in Cincinnati USA. What has become one of Cincinnati’s most popular annual festivals — The Appalachian Festival– began decades ago in the basement of Cincinnati’s Music Hall as a quaint crafts’ exhibition developed by the Cincinnati Junior League. Today, the Appalachian Festival draws nearly 50,000 people over the three-day event to Coney Island on the shores of the Ohio River.

Cost
$8, $4 ages 55 and up, $2 ages 4-11, free ages 3 and under. Parking: $6

Presented by Appalachian Community Development Association

Artisans, crafts, dance and food vendors. Storytelling and bluegrass music entertainment.
