Chocolate Hazelnut Coffee
Like your morning cup of joe? You’ll love our low-carb, flavorful spin! Featuring the winning combination of chocolate and hazelnut layered over your favorite hot coffee base, it will give you a whole new reason to get excited for the start of a new day.

Ingredients
Preparation time: 10 minutes (to brew coffee)

6 ounces hot coffee
1 tablespoon chocolate hazelnut spread, such as Nutella
1 packet artificial sweetener
1 tablespoon skim milk

Directions
Yield: 1 serving
Serving size: 7 ounces

1 – Stir all ingredients together in a mug and serve.

Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal
Get that fall feeling first thing in the morning. Start off your day with this quick and easy oatmeal, ready in just about 10 minutes. Featuring pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice, one bite will take you straight to pumpkin paradise!

Ingredients
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: approximately 5 minutes.

1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
1/8 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Artificial sweetener to taste

Directions
Yield: 1 serving
Serving size: 1 recipe

1 – Combine oats, milk, pumpkin, and spices in a small pan; whisk together. Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until oatmeal reaches desired consistency. Stir in artificial sweetener and serve.

Colorful Fruit Medley for Diabetics
Yield: 12 cups
Serving size: 1/2 cup
Preparation time: 30 minutes

Ingredients
2 cups strawberries, sliced
1 cup blackberries
1 cup green grapes
1 kiwifruit, peeled, halved lengthwise, and sliced
3 cups cubed cantaloupe
1 can (11 ounces) mandarin oranges in juice, drained
1 can (8 ounces) pineapple chunks in juice, drained
1 red apple, cubed
1 nine-inch banana, sliced
Artificial sweetener (optional)

Directions
1 – In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and toss to mix. Sweeten to taste with artificial sweetener, if desired. If not serving immediately, wait and add apple and banana at serving time.
