Today’s Menu: Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 83 degrees, a bit humid, and sunny out today. Got the cart out and did some yard work. In the midst of removing a tree stump. Then I cleaned out the leaves from the flower beds. For Dinner tonight it’s one of our favorites, Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast.

 

For Dinner tonight it’s one of our favorites, SayersBrook Ranch Bison Chopped Sirloin Steak. SayersBrook no longer produces the Chopped Bison Sirloin. So I thought that was the end of them until I came across 3 packages at the bottom of the stand up freezer a while back. I sat a package of them in the fridge overnight to thaw. That’s 2 of 3 packages, 1 left. So to start I preheated the oven to 400 degrees. To prepare it I’ll need McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, McCormick Crushed Rosemary, and McCormick Thyme Leaves (all seasoning to taste). I got the Cast Iron Skillet out to prepare it. I first sprayed it with a very light coat of Pam Cooking Spray and then added a tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil. Heat it on medium heat. When the pan was heated I added the Chopped Steak. I cooked each side for 2 minutes. Then finish it in the oven, at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. It cooked up beautifully, perfect medium rare! Had a nice little char on the outside and moist and juicy inside. These are so tender you could slice them with a spoon and have an excellent taste to them. This might be all the SayersBrook Ranch Bison Chopped Sirloin Steak that we have left. They no longer make the Chopped Steak, very sad!

I topped the Chopped Steak with some A-1 Sauce Thick/Hardy. Also cooked up some Sauteed Mushrooms.

 

I also prepared a Baked Potato. Seasoned that with the McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, and topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also baked a slice of New York Bakery Texas Toast, One delicious meal tonight. The Chopped Steak, Potato, and Texas Toast just seem to work the best! For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Cherry Jello.

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin and topped it with Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. ! I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 83 degrees, very humid with rain and thunderstorms on and off throughout the day. Just not a lot going on today. For Dinner tonight it’s one of our favorites, Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast.

 

For Dinner tonight it’s one of our favorites, SayersBrook Ranch Bison Chopped Sirloin Steak. SayersBrook no longer produces the Chopped Bison Sirloin. So I thought that was the end of them until I came across 3 packages of 2 of at the bottom of the stand up freezer a while back. I sat a package of them in the fridge overnight to thaw. That’s 2 of 3 packages, 1 left. So to start I preheated the oven to 400 degrees. To prepare it I’ll need McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, McCormick Crushed Rosemary, and McCormick Thyme Leaves (all seasoning to taste). I got the Cast Iron Skillet out to prepare it. I first sprayed it with a very light coat of Pam Cooking Spray and then added a tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil. Heat it on medium heat. When the pan was heated I added the Chopped Steak. I cooked each side for 2 minutes. Then finish it in the oven, at 400 degrees for 7 minutes. It cooked up beautifully, perfect medium rare! Had a nice little char on the outside and moist and juicy inside. These are so tender you could slice them with a spoon and have an excellent taste to them. I topped the Chopped Steak with some A-1 Sauce Thick/Hardy. Also cooked up some Sauteed Mushrooms.

 

 

I also prepared a Baked Potato. Seasoned that with the McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, and topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also baked a slice of New York Bakery Texas Toast, One delicious meal tonight. The Chopped Steak, Potato, and Texas Toast just seem to work the best! For Dessert later a 90 Calorie Breyer’s Vanilla Bean Ice Cream Cup.

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin, lightly fried slices of Boar’s Head Sweet Slice Ham, fried a Sunny Side Up Egg, and added a 1/2 slice of Boar’s Head Longhorn Colby. One Delicious Breakfast Sandwich! I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 79 degrees with rain and thunderstorms on and off throughout the day. At least the rains are keeping the Cicadas in also. Did a load of laundry for Mom. Not much else to do. For Dinner tonight it’s one of our favorites, Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast.

A high of 29 degrees, cloudy and windy outdoors today. We have a huge snow storm moving in Sunday night through Tuesday, anywhere 8-12 inches predicted, we’ll wait and see! Cleaned the house today then caught up on some shows I had recorded. For Dinner tonight its one of our favorites, Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast (Light).

Today’s Menu: Chicken Bacon and Sharp Cheddar Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs that I sprinkled some Sargento Off the Block Sharp Cheddar Cheese and Ortega Smoky Chipotle Taco Sauce. Next I toasted a couple of slices of Aunt Millie’s Live Light Whole Grain Bread that I topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Another Cold and Gloomy Day out! We had a high of 33 degrees and windy out today. After I ate I went to McDonald’s and picked up Breakfast for Mom. Back home a while back I had purchased some new Furniture Coasters. I put the Coasters under all the Furniture, that way it’s easy to move if need be and easy to move to vacuum and clean under it. The ones I had under a lot of Furniture are worn out so it was time to replace them. That was about it for the day. For Dinner tonight a Chicken Bacon and Sharp Cheddar Cheese Burger w/ Baked Fries.

 

I had bought Mom some Omaha Steaks Burgers, yes I’m using Beef! I rarely use Beef but Mom had tried these a while back so I purchased a box for her. So we are having a couple more of them tonight for Dinner, I think these are the last 2. Anyway they come frozen 6 (4 oz.) burgers. So I laid a couple of them in the fridge overnight to thaw. To prepare them I’ll be needing the Burgers, Extra Light Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper, al fresco Chicken Bacon, A-1 Thick and Hearty Steak Sauce, Kraft Deli Style Sharp Cheddar Cheese, and Healthy Life Wheat Hamburger Buns. The Bacon was already cooked I just heated it up a bit.

 

 

To prepare the Burgers I preheat a small amount of the Olive Oil in non-stick pan over medium heat. Add burgers, pan frying for 6-8 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches 160°F. checked by a meat thermometer. After 4 minutes I flipped the Burgers and with 1 minute of cooking time left I added a 1/2 slice of the Cheese.

 

 

 

 

 

I served the Burgers on the Healthy Life Buns. I topped the Burgers with the al fresco Chicken Bacon and served! The Burger was delicious! Nicely seasoned and juicy! The Bacon and Cheese worked perfect. I guess I’ll have to have Beef a bit more often, good job Omaha Steaks!

 

 

 

 

 

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries. Served with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

After Breakfast I went to Kroger for Mom and then stopped by Wendy’s and picked up Breakfast for her. Back home I got the cart out of the shed, time for some shed repair. My neighbor came over and helped me repair the skirting around the shed. We have a ground hog that keeps tearing up it up, he does the same to the neighbor’s also. Today’s Menu: Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast (Light)

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I had toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin that I topped with Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 32 degrees out this morning and windy. We had a high of 49 degrees and cloudy out. Come on Spring Time! Still not feeling up to par. I think I have a Sinus Infection but no way I’m going to the Doctor’s Office with everything else going around. So I’ll just have to tough this one out. Just took it easy again, as the Isolation continues. For Dinner tonight its Mom’s favorite, Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast (Light). Stay safe everyone!

We love these Chopped Bison Steaks from SayersBrook Bison Ranch! I had them in the freezer so I grabbed a package of 2 of it and let it thaw in the fridge overnight. To start I preheated the oven on 400 degrees. To prepare it I’ll need McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, McCormick Crushed Rosemary, and McCormick Thyme Leaves. I got the Cast Iron Skillet out to prepare it. I first sprayed it with a very light coat of Pam Cooking Spray and then added a tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil. Heated it on medium heat. When the pan was heated I added the Chopped Steak. I cooked each side 2 minutes.Then finished it in the oven, at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. It cooked up beautifully, perfect medium rare! Had a nice little char on the outside and moist and juicy inside. These are so tender you could slice them with a spoon and have an excellent taste to them. Just another very good item from SayersBrook Ranch!

I topped the Chopped Steak with some A-1 Sauce Thick/Hardy. Also cooked up some Sauteed Mushrooms.

 

 

I also prepared a Baked Potato. Seasoned that with the McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, and topped with I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter. I also baked a slice of New York Bakery Lite Texas Toast, One delicious meal tonight. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s of Hanover Pretzels and a Diet Peach to drink.

For Breakfast this morning I had a Poached Egg that I served on a toasted Thomas Light English Muffin. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Cloudy and 51 degrees out today. Got the cart, rake, and leaf blower out and did some yard work. I first sprayed for some weeds around the flower beds. The raked the front and side yards. Then took the leaf blower and cleaned off the deck and driveway areas. Good to be out in the yard at least as the home isolation continues! For Dinner tonight its Mom’s favorite, Chopped Bison Sirloin and Sauteed Mushrooms w/ Baked Potato and Texas Toast (Light).
