Today’s Menu: Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I fried up some om favorite Glier’s Goetta. I also cooked up some Simply Potatoes Shredded Hash Browns and had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. I have been having Goetta for quite a few years. I normally use the Glier’s Turkey Goetta but right now you can only find the regular Goetta. After Breakfast I did a load of laundry. After that did some chores around the house. Our neighborhood on our street has it’s first Covid Virus household. Both the husband and wife has tested positive. So glad I stay over 8 feet from people around here. I just hope the upcoming vaccines work and we try to get back to normal. For Dinner tonight I prepared Turkey Frank Cincinnati Style Cheese Coneys.

 

We love our Cheese Coneys around here! Living here all my life here in Cincinnati you are raised on Cheese Coneys and Chili! I used Ball Park Smoked White Meat Turkey Franks, an excellent Turkey Frank! I boiled them, it took about 5 minutes and they were ready, plump, and delicious. Plus they are lower in calories and carbs than most other Hot Dogs, 45 calories and 5 carbs!

 

I heated a can of Skyline Chili with Beans for my topping. We prefer the Chili with Beans over the Chili with no Beans. It just gives the Coneys even more flavor with the added Beans! I served everything on a Healthy Life Wheat Hot Dog Buns. Put the Frank in the Bun then topped it with French’s Yellow Mustard, the Chili, and Sargento Reduced Fat Sharp Cheddar Shredded Cheese. Had a small side of some Skyline Oyster Crackers with a few drops of Frank’s Hot Sauce on them, which is a common way to have them here in the Cincinnati area. We love our Chili, Chili Dogs, Chili Spaghetti, and Hot Sauce here in the Cincinnati area. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Buffalo Cheese Burger and Fries

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I Scrambled a couple of Eggs, heated up 2 Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage links and had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 38 degrees, cloudy and windy out today. Did a load of laundry after Breakfast. I took the bathroom door off its hinges. I replaced the old hinges with some new ones that I had ordered on line. The door would not stay open. It would gradually go shut. The new hinges worked, problem solved! Took some measurements for some wood trim around the floor board and corners of the wall that need replaced. I banged it up back when I first got my Hoveround Mobility Chair. That was my day. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Buffalo Cheese Burger and Baked Fries.

 

As always when it’s a Buffalo Burger I’m using the Wild Idea Buffalo 1/3-Lb Burgers. Just love these Buffalo Burgers; meaty, juicy and just flat out delicious! Preheated up a skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray, seasoned my Burger with McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Black Peppercorn. I then pan fried it about 3 1/2 minutes per side, and done. After I flipped the Burger I added a slice of Kraft Deli Style Sharp Cheddar Cheese. I’m serving it on a Healthy Life Wheat Hamburger Bun.

 

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries, served these with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s of Hanover Mini Pretzel Sticks along with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I made a Breakfast Sandwich using Pillsbury Flaky Biscuits, Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Patties, and a 1/4 slice of Hoffman Super Sharp Cheese. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Partly cloudy and 41 degrees outside today. After Breakfast did a load of laundry. After that I laid down and rested, I’ve had a Sinus Headache since yesterday. With the temperatures going up and down my Sinuses are a problem. Felt better as the day went on. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwurst for Dinner tonight.

 

I had a package of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst in the freezer. So I got a package out of the freezer and put it in the fridge overnight to thaw. Jungle Jim’s International Market is the only place I can find these and they don’t have them in stock too often.

 

To prepare them I used a large size skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray and added the Metts. I then added water to the pan, just enough water to cover about a 1/4 of Metts. Turned the heat on medium and covered the pan. I turned the Metts frequently to get a nice even cook on them. When the water had boiled down I cooked them an extra 3 minutes to brown them. They turned out fantastic, nice and meaty! Plus being the Bluegrass Lean type , just 1/2 the calories of other Metts. I served them on Healthy Life Wheat Hot Dog Buns and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with a Diet Dr. Pepper to drink.

Today’s Menu: Sharp Cheddar and Bacon Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin and topped it with Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. Also had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. Partly cloudy and 59 degrees, a bit cooler today after all the rain overnight. We had leaves and tree branches all over the deck and yard from the wind and rain from last night. So I grabbed the rake, leaf blower, and my cart out of the shed and cleaned the yard and deck. Such a pain trying to get stuff done while in a wheelchair or mobility cart sometimes. But thankful I’m able to get things done! For Dinner tonight its a Sharp Cheddar and Chicken Bacon Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.

 

So I started by getting a skillet and spraying it with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray and heating it on medium heat. For the Bacon I’m using al fresco Uncured Chicken Bacon. It fries up perfect with an excellent taste. I buy it at Meijer, it’s the only store I’ve found to carry it. I need 2 slices but fried 5 slices. Always remember when frying Bacon use the Bacon Math. Just decide how many slices you’ll need and double it or so. Because, at least when I fry Bacon, you end up eating as much as you fix as you’re preparing it!

 

I had bought a package of the Jennie – O Lean 93% Lean Turkey Burger Patties at Meijer and had them in the freezer. I grabbed a couple of them last night and let it thaw in the fridge overnight. To prepare the Burger I grabbed a skillet sprayed it the Pam and added 2 teaspoons of Extra Light Olive Oil, heated it on medium heat. When ready I added the Turkey Burger and cooked it for 14 minutes flipping it several times. With a minute of cooking time left I added a slice of Kraft Deli Deluxe Sharp Cheddar Cheese. And done!

 

 

Added the Bacon, Lettuce, some Hellman’s Spicy Chipotle Mayonnaise and served it on a Healthy Life Wheat Bun. Just love these Burgers, juicy and delicious, and with the Sharp Cheddar and Bacon it makes it that much better! I love this Mayo, you have to try it! I tried the Hellman’s Spicy Chipotle Mayonnaise on the last Turkey Burger and loved it! It’s nice and Creamy with excellent flavor and a nice little kick to it!

 

 

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert later a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage w/ Baked Fries

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin that I topped with Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam and I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 74 degrees and sunny outside! Beautiful weather to be November! Did some yard work, did a repair on deck, and the kept the cart out and rode around the neighborhood, enjoying this weather! For Dinner tonight it’s Sweet Italian Turkey Sausage w/ Baked Fries.

 

I used my favorite, the healthy and delicious Jennie O Lean Sweet Italian Turkey Sausages. I bought a package of them at Meijer the other day. First time I’ve found them in stock for quite some time! I prepared 3 of them and froze the rest. I pan fried them, using Pam w/ Olive Oil Cooking Spray and no oil needed. Heated the pan on medium and cooked a total of about 17 minutes, turning the Sausages occasionally. They fry up plump and brown, as always Jennie – O Products always have that fresh taste to them. The Sausages have 160 calories and 0 carbs per Sausage. I served it on a Healthy Life Wheat Hot Dog Bun and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. Love these!

 

I also baked some Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries. Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup for dipping. For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Cherry Jello.

After Breakfast I went to Kroger and Walgreen for Mom. I stopped and picked up Breakfast for at Wendy’s. After Lunch I took her car and had the oil changed and then stopped and her car washed. Today’s Menu: Sharp Cheddar and Bacon Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries

 

To start my day off I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 39 degrees out this morning, a bit chilly out there! We had a high 58 degrees and sunny, beautiful Fall day! So after Tea I headed out to Meijer. With this Virus starting to get worse I thought I would go to Meijer and get a few stock items like Canned Goods, Frozen Items, Cleaning Supplies and Paper Products. Meijer was packed this morning, I guess everyone had the same Idea. Stopped and picked up Breakfast for Mom at McDonald’s. Back home Me and Mom both went to Walgreen’s and got our first Flu Shots! First one me or Mom had ever gotten. Love our local Walgreen’s, so friendly and helpful! Back home raked the front and side lawns. For Dinner tonight its a Sharp Cheddar and Chicken Bacon Turkey Burger w/ Baked Fries.

Today’s Menu: Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I had a Poached Egg served on a Thomas Light English Muffin. Then I also had 2 Johnsonville Turkey Breakfast Sausage Links that I fried up along with a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 82 degrees and partly cloudy out today. Our last 80 degree day for a while they say. High in the low 70’s, 60’s, and 50’s coming up this week. After Breakfast did a load of laundry. Then after Lunch it was house cleaning day. For Dinner I prepared a couple of Bluegrass Deliciously Lean Mettwursts for Dinner tonight.

 

I’ve had a couple of packages of the Bluegrass Lean Mettwurst in the freezer. So I got a package out of the freezer and put it in the fridge overnight to thaw. Jungle Jim’s International Market is the only place I can find these and they don’t have them in stock too often.

 

To prepare them I used a large size skillet that I sprayed with Pam Cooking Spray and added the Metts. I then added water to the pan, just enough water to cover about a 1/4 of Metts. Turned the heat on medium and covered the pan. I turned the Metts frequently to get a nice even cook on them. When the water had boiled down I cooked them an extra 3 minutes to brown them. They turned out fantastic, nice and meaty! Plus being the Bluegrass Lean type , just 1/2 the calories of other Metts. I served them on Healthy Life Wheat Hot Dog Buns and topped with French’s Spicy Brown Mustard. For Dessert/Snack later a 100 Calorie Mini Bag of Snyder’s Pretzels with a Diet Peach Snapple to drink.

Today’s Menu: Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries

 

 

For Breakfast this morning I had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 82 degrees and mostly sunny. This is our warmest day in a while. Went to Home Depot after Breakfast. Then on the way back stopped at the ATM, got gas, and got the car washed. Back home did a little yard work. Boy we really need a good rain, everything is turning brown. For Dinner tonight its a Panko Crusted Orange Roughy Fish Sandwich w/ Baked Fries.

I had picked up a couple of Orange Roughy Fillet at Jungle Jim’s International Market a while back and had it in the freezer. I sat a bag in the fridge overnight to thaw. To make it I’ll need; the Orange Roughy Fillet, McCormick Grinder Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley, Flour, Egg Beater’s (1/2 cup), Hungarian Paprika, and Shake and Bake Panko Bread Crumbs. I’ll serve it on a Aunt Millie’s Reduced Calorie Whole Grain Hamburger Bun. I first Seasoned the Fillet with the McCormick Grinders of Sea Salt and Peppercorn Medley. Next I seasoned the Flour with the added Hungarian Paprika. Then rolled the Fillet in the Flour, next to the Egg Beater’s, and finally in the Panko Bread Crumbs.

 

I grabbed a skillet, sprayed it with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray, added 1/2 tablespoon of Extra Light Olive Oil, and heated the skillet on medium heat. With the skillet heated I added my Fillet. I fried it for 3 minutes per side. It fried up perfect! Golden Brown on the outside and a moist center. I served it on the Aunt Millie’s Bun. Orange Roughy has such a good taste to it, it’s a very mild Fish. Makes the perfect Fish Sandwich!

 

As my Orange Roughy was cooking I turned the oven on to 425 degrees and baked my Fries. I used Ore Ida Crinkle Cut Fries. Like all the Ore Ida Products, they are easy to prepare and delicious. I just baked them for 19 minutes and done! Served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Chocolate Pudding.

Today’s Menu: Fish Sandwich Fillet Sandwich w/ Baked Tater Tots

 

To start my day off I had my morning cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. 77 degrees and sunny out today. I went and had Mom’s car washed and then stopped by Wendy’s and picked up Breakfast for her. Beautiful day out there today, good day to do some yard work. So I got the cart out along with the leaf blower, rake and hedge clippers. Raked some leaves, and yes some of the trees the leaves are falling, and cut down some bushes that are done for the year. When done I took the cart out for a spin around the neighborhood. For Dinner tonight I prepared a Fish Sandwich Fillet Sandwich w/ Baked Tater Tots.

 

I haven’t had a Fish Sandwich and Tater Tots in a while and it sounded good for tonight’s Dinner! I used Van De Kamps – Fish Sandwich Fillets for my Fish, which I haven’t had in quite some time. Very easy to prepare. Removed the Fish from the plastic pouch. Heated the oven at 425 degrees. Placed the Frozen Fish Fillets in a single layer evenly on a baking sheet. Place the pan on the oven rack. Bake uncovered 21 minutes. I turned the Fish Fillets over halfway through baking.

 

These turned out perfect! Golden Brown and nice Flavor to them. I topped the Fish with a slice of Kraft Deli Style Sharp Cheddar Cheese and served it on a Healthy Life Wheat Hamburger Bun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I also baked some Ore Ida Tater Tots as I was baking the Fish. Just baked at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes and done! The Tater Tots come out golden brown and delicious! I served them with a side of Hunt’s Ketchup. For Dessert/Snack later a bowl of Skinny Pop – Pop Corn and a Sprite Zero to drink.
