Jalapeño Turkey Bacon Poppers
Love all things jalapeño? Jalapeño peppers topped with turkey bacon are for you! Pop them into your mouth and try not to cry, either from heat or happiness. Jalapeño Turkey Bacon Poppers are creamy, hearty, savory bites of jalapeño joy. Try them as creative appetizers for home or parties.
Total Time – 30 Minutes
Serving Size – 4 Servings

6 – slices JENNIE-O® Turkey Bacon
4 – large jalapeño peppers, seeded and sliced in half lengthwise
1/2 – (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 – cup shredded Cheddar cheese

1 – Heat oven to 400° F.
2 – Preheat a nonstick skillet or electric griddle over medium heat (375°F.). Heat slices of bacon for 6-7 minutes or until desired crispness, turning frequently.
3 – Chop 4 bacon slices. In small bowl, stir together cream cheese and chopped bacon. Spoon mixture into jalapeño halves.
4 – Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese. Chop remaining 2 bacon slices. Top jalapeños with bacon.
5 – Bake 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
