Today’s Menu: Italian Pasta Salad with Rotisserie Chicken

To start this Sunday morning off I toasted a Thomas Light English Muffin that I topped with some Smucker’s Sugar Free Blackberry Jam. I also had a cup of Bigelow Decaf Green Tea. It’s a hot one out there today! We had a heat index of 107 degrees. Light Rain and high winds came through in the late afternoon and cooled it off a bit. Not much going on today, did laundry and did a few things around the house. For Dinner tonight I prepared an Italian Pasta Salad with Rotisserie Chicken.

I prepared a Italian Pasta Salad, made about noon today. It always taste even better after chilled for a while. A Light and tasty dish that includes Ronzoni Garden Delight Tri Color Rotini Pasta, Black Olives, Kalamata Olives, Hormel Turkey Pepperoni, Anchovies, Kraft Reduced Fat Grated Parmesan Cheese, Kraft Zesty Italian Fat Free Dressing, McCormick Italian Seasoning. Prepared the Pasta according to the box and added all the ingredients and tossed until well mixed. Then refrigerated until ready to use.

Boiled the Pasta for 10 minutes and drained it. After it cooled I seasoned and added it with the Black Olives, Kalamata Olives, Hormel Turkey Pepperoni, Anchovies, Kraft Reduced Fat Grated Parmesan Cheese, Kraft Zesty Italian Fat Free Dressing, McCormick Italian Seasoning. I can’t wait to dig in!

While at Kroger yesterday I picked up a Kroger Rotisserie Whole Chicken. We love Rotisserie Chicken, delicious and easy to prepare. When it was time for Dinner I heated the oven on 325 degrees. Got a small baking pan and sprayed it with Pam Non Stick Cooking Spray. Took the Chicken out of the package and into the baking pan. Reheat it for 30 minutes. After the Chicken cooled a bit I pulled all the Chicken from the bones and it was ready to serve!

To serve made a bed of the Pasta and topped it with Kraft Reduced Fat Grated Parmesan Cheese and some more of the Kraft Zesty Italian Fat Free Dressing. The Pasta Salad and Rotisserie Chicken are a perfect combination. The Kraft Italian Dressing provides some great flavor for the Pasta and the Rotisserie Chicken was seasoned perfectly! I enjoy Simple and Delicious Meals so much! For Dessert later a Jello Sugar Free Dark Cherry Jello. Take Care and Stay Safe Everyone!

The Saboscrivner

The Saboscrivner is a librarian who writes about food in Orlando, Florida, and beyond. I was inspired by Chew, a brilliant, bizarre, food-obsessed comic book series about characters with food-related super powers. Creators John Layman and Rob Guillory introduced their saboscrivner in Chew #3 with a description: "[A saboscrivner] can write about food so accurately, so vividly and with such precision – people get the actual sensation of taste when reading about the meals [he] writes about."
