It’ a Turkey Taco Night!

Today’s Menu: Turkey Tacos

A sunny morning quickly turned into a cloudy afternoon. Some rain and cooler temperatures moving in tonight. Went to Kroger early this morning and picked up a couple of items and back home. Did laundry and went outside and stored the outdoor water hose and a couple of tables and grill in the shed for the upcoming winter, that’s about it for the day. For dinner tonight it’s Turkey Tacos, one of my favorites!

 

 

 

As usual when making Turkey Tacos I always use Jennie -O Ground Turkey Breast! Love all the Jennie -O Turkey Products, always fresh and low calorie and low carb. I started by frying the Ground Turkey till it was no longer pink in Canola Oil. I then added a can of Light Red Kidney Beans, stirred until well mixed with Turkey. I seasoned it with Sea Salt, Ground Roasted Cumin, Cilantro Flakes. I then added 1 package of Old El Paso Low Sodium Taco Seasoning and 3/4 cup Water, continued to cook and stir for an additional 7 minutes. Jennie -O and Old El Paso together make one fine Taco!

For toppings I’ll be using; Sargento Reduced Fat 4 Cheese Mexican, Sliced Black Olives, Sliced Green Olives, Wholly Guacamole, Old El Paso Taco Sauce, Sliced Jalapenos, and Shredded Lettuce. For my Taco Shells I used Ortega Whole Grain Corn Taco Shells. Loving taco Night! For dessert later a Healthy Choice Dark Fudge Swirl Frozen Greek Yogurt.
