Pining for fresh fish but stuck with frozen? Try this: Cover the frozen fish in milk until it thaws, then cook. It will taste fresher, and your family will never know it was frozen.

  1. Sounds worth a try — for so long we had fresh fish frequently (we were a family who liked to fish!), and during times when the fish weren’t biting, we sometimes tried the frozen variety. They were good, but weren’t really as good as fresh. Thanks for the tip!

    • I’ve never tried this one yet but plan on it next time I use frozen fish. A friend of mine always uses this method when using frozen fish.

  2. Reblogged this on Mrs. City Boy.
